11/10/2025: The hotel is in a great location, very clean and welcoming, and the reception staff are very friendly.

01/10/2025: The hotel is a bit dated but well-finished and very clean. It's located on the outskirts of the city center, and appears quiet. Very friendly staff, comfortable beds, and a decent breakfast for this class of hotel. Excellent on-site parking, although the passage is quite narrow.

26/09/2025: Everything was very good, perhaps the best sushi I've ever eaten. We had to wait a bit for the second order, but I understand there were a lot of people.

24/09/2025: Good food, the only problem is the rude and exploitative staff, as they made us pay €6 more for no reason and when we asked for an explanation they didn't respond.

13/09/2025: One star is too much, too bad there's no zero-star option. Five of us went this week for my birthday, to try it out and with the prospect of returning if we enjoyed it. The dishes (all of them) were tasteless or awful, the fried foods were soggy and rubbery, and the Chinese bread tasted like raw breadcrumbs. Of the various dishes, the only edible ones were some Chinese noodles with vegetables and a whole fish au gratin. By the end of the evening and for the next two days, five of us had terrible stomach aches... All five of us!!! This had never happened, not even in the worst places we've ever been. The only Chinese person inside the restaurant is perhaps the cashier; the dishes are prepared by staff who have no idea what Chinese cuisine is (or even Italian cuisine), in an open kitchen, where every so often someone eats and drinks standing up and in full view of the customers. I looked at the reviews beforehand, and while they aren't particularly high, there are some good ones, and I honestly don't know what those people who gave positive reviews are used to eating. As far as I'm concerned, this was the worst experience of all and one I absolutely must not repeat!

03/09/2025: I have to say I ate very well. The only advice I'd give is to avoid fried food. It'll leave a bad taste in your stomach.

09/09/2025: The sushi is sublime, no complaints there. Quality obviously comes at a price, but if you want excellent sushi, you definitely won't be disappointed at Bonsai. I'd go back a thousand times; it's hands down the best sushi I've ever had.

08/09/2025: The extra charge for all kind of sauces like teriyaki and spicy mayo was not explicit and it was too expensive. Each plate of sauce cost €1. We also ordered 2 desserts she gave us 3 and said we are wrong, we all have only 2. The food is good but the overall experience wasn't pleasant.

07/10/2025: Super quiet, peaceful atmosphere, so you can eat in peace. Kudos to those in the kitchen because I had the best sushi, nigiri, and sashimi I've ever eaten. Top service and very friendly and helpful waiters. I ate there last year, and today, while talking with my friends, I remembered this place, which I absolutely had to leave a review for, so here I am, recommending this fantastic place after a year. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

13/09/2025: A truly disappointing experience. We had booked a table in advance, but upon arrival, we were denied entry simply because we had a small Pomeranian with us, a very small dog accustomed to being quiet. With no willingness to find a solution, the reservation was canceled on the spot. At a time when most establishments are pet-friendly and welcome pets, this attitude seemed inhospitable and inconsistent with the needs of many customers. We definitely won't be returning, and we won't recommend it to anyone traveling with a dog. PS This situation, at 9 p.m., forced us to travel 35 km to find the next sushi restaurant, which welcomed us without a single problem, even providing kits for the dog.

04/10/2025: Creative and fresh sushi, beautifully presented. Very reasonable prices, too. You'll have to ask the staff for the sushi menu, as they keep it inside the restaurant.

03/09/2025: I went for the first time, at first sight I wasn't convinced, sitting at the table I started to smell of pee, as I moved outside, it's my first review in 43 years of life I find it quite disgusting, terrible, poor. There are no words to describe the disgusting but I swear everything was inedible, I vomited... not a single portion was salvageable, not even the spring roll, absolutely zero on the sushi and everything I'm sorry but it's the reality of the facts... be careful what you eat!!!!! I'm really sorry to be so abrupt but unfortunately it was unbearable not to mention the bill which was worth zero!

09/10/2025: Delicious food, with a weekday all-you-can-eat offer of €15.90 per person, with seven courses available. It's inedible, but everything is so delicious... A great way to try something new. I've visited these restaurants several times, and it's always delicious, quick, and pleasant. I recommend it!

25/09/2025: The only redeeming feature is the location. The service was poor—I had to repeat several times that my dish hadn't arrived—and the food was truly awful. I felt sick for five days after eating here, something I've never experienced when eating sushi at other restaurants, which have gotten much worse over the years. It needs an inspection by the NAS (National Health Authority).

30/09/2025: After a few days in Italy you do get a bit bored of kids party food (pizza, pasta, ice cream). So Japan House was a blessed reprieve. Just outside the endless tourist trap that is Pescheria it was great. One price and order away at all your favourite pan Asian treats. Served hot fresh and tasty with very reasonably priced drinks includng my favourite ice cold Asahi. It was exactly what I needed. We finished off with little moons ice cream a Baileys and spirit. Well less than €90

16/09/2025: The restaurant is nice, but unfortunately the quality isn't the best. All the dishes are absolutely bland and flavorless, both the cooked dishes (we had ramen and ravioli) and the sushi. Truly the most tasteless sushi I've ever had.

27/09/2025: Nice and classic atmosphere, Saturday lunchtime seating was easy to find even without a reservation. The waiters were Italian, so there were no problems understanding the language. The only downside was that there were only a few of them, and at the entrance, like other customers, we had to wait for them to show up because they were busy. The clientele was good. The wait for dishes was normal, except when the app system malfunctioned. The app had descriptions and was intuitive. My only suggestion is to separate the lunch menu (a bit too limited) from the dinner menu. The food was decent and of good quality. There was no empty plate on the table to avoid messing up and leaving leftovers. Tables for two were a bit too small, but that's the case everywhere. Another suggestion would be to install Wi-Fi, because if someone doesn't use it, it makes ordering impossible or difficult. Information: The lunch menu consists of dishes priced at €0.
