26/05/2026: Extremely poor quality food. We ordered both raw fish and shrimp, as well as dishes containing cooked tuna. The raw fish was of very poor quality, and the cooked tuna had a truly unpleasant flavor. The atmosphere was stuffy and dimly lit. The service was barely adequate: the staff often stood there staring and laughing. It should be noted that there were only us and one other couple in the dining room (on a Saturday evening), but the service was slow. After a few dishes, we decided to pay and leave with almost empty stomachs. Never again, absolutely not recommended.

01/03/2026: Overall, it's okay. The food is good quality, but the service was a bit annoying. At one point, they repeatedly asked if we were sure about our order, only to then take our tablets away at 2:45 PM because the kitchen was closing. The place was small, dark, and windowless, and we smelled terrible when we left (even our coats were completely soaked in it). I'm mentioning this because, had we known, we wouldn't have gone.

26/12/2025: I went for lunch for the first time. I honestly found the menu limited, and my stomach wasn't feeling very good afterward. I don't know if it was a coincidence. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, the place seemed clean, but unfortunately, I'm a careful observer. For example, the windows. If I'd based my opinion on the cleanliness of the place from the outside, I probably wouldn't have chosen this restaurant. And honestly, I don't know if I'll return; overall, I wasn't convinced.

18/12/2025: Tonight I ate at Samma Restaurant. Prices were low, below average, and the menu was extensive, with a wide variety of dishes. The food was excellent, as was the service, as the woman serving it was truly talented and kind. I would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone, as it's one of the best in the area!

23/07/2025: My boyfriend and I went to this place based on the more or less positive reviews. First of all, I booked, mainly because I knew from their website and online that they had hookah. I arrived and was told it wasn't available. I should have at least let them know. Anyway, we sat down and they pushed us to order the all-you-can-eat option, but in the meantime, we decided to try the sushi. The prices were really high, but anyway, we ordered a few pieces of sushi from the menu. As soon as they put the tuna sashimi on the table, it looked normal in color. As soon as I took the first piece and put it in my mouth, I immediately noticed the unpleasant fishy odor. Nauseous. I won't even tell you about the taste, it was awful. The most disgusting sushi I've ever eaten (and they just put it on the menu, and I don't even mention the prices because they're so exorbitant). I wouldn't have given it a cent! We ate with hesitation about the quality of the fish, and I'm of the opinion that sushi should be treated with care, as you don't mess with raw fish! We ate these raw pieces of sushi, almost having to force ourselves to eat them, because it was like eating spoiled fish. It was definitely a result of improper freezing and terrible preservation in the July heat. We ate, hesitant, thinking something might happen, and it did. In the evening, we went home and I felt terrible! It wasn't even Saturday, and there was no one there! Weekdays are usually when they take more care of the food and the customers, as there's less commotion. The food was poor, extremely low quality; I even felt sick! Who knows how it could have ended! No, no, no! And then the value for money was completely outrageous. I've eaten quality sushi at quality places for much less... It's a shame because it could have been a nice place and made a good profit. The waiters were a bit rude, and after we finished the sushi without asking for anything, they brought us the bill without asking, almost as if they were kicking us out. Bah!

20/07/2025: The thing I'll definitely remember about this place is the utter rudeness and listlessness of the young man who greeted us. When it was time to order, he seemed indisposed and rolled his eyes at every request we made, including mentioning a food allergy to strawberries. His attitude was one of utter annoyance and condescension. Fortunately, he was replaced by a young woman later in the evening. It's a shame because the sushi was decent. I wouldn't recommend it for celiacs, considering my husband had a twinge shortly afterward.

26/05/2025: A traditional Japanese restaurant in the heart of Rome where you'll feel like you've suddenly traveled to Japan. The elegant, clean, and refined atmosphere uses the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. Highly recommended, to say the least! Fantastic!

21/04/2026: Anzio's first sushi place, now a historic one. Years ago, it was excellent, but now, perhaps due to intense competition, the quality has dropped significantly. The food is certainly not bad, but I'd say its offerings aren't anything special. It's an all-you-can-eat place, like many others. The dining room is beautiful, especially the traditional low tables in the back.

15/05/2026: It's been a long time since we've been to Sushiko in Castenaso. The best of this chain is still the one in Forlì, with much more variety and better quality. Everything here is bland, flavorless, and limited selection. Honestly, we won't be going again. Excellent service, friendly waiters.

21/04/2026: Menu adapted for Europeans. I would have preferred to have had more original raw dishes. Maybe it's not possible or I didn't have the opportunity to taste them, because I was invited and didn't order myself. But, anyway, it's nowhere like it was years ago.

10/06/2026: I dined at this restaurant. My compliments to the owner, the staff, and the chef for their very elaborate, typical Cilento dishes. I ate, as recommended, three appetizers: one with calamari, shrimp, and cuttlefish, one with escarole and potatoes, and one with Cilento-style cod. Then came a risotto with local red shrimp and the catch of the day. Finally, a generous serving of grilled lucerne fish, very delicious. I will certainly return for another dinner, as I am a tourist in the area these days. The setting, directly on the sea, is also excellent, very romantic at sunset.

08/06/2026: A well-maintained, organized, and certainly unique place in Ascea. The staff is competent, professional, and makes you feel immediately at ease. Special thanks go to the lady in the dining room, who was extremely kind, attentive, and always available throughout the day. The beach is very clean and well-maintained, and you can sense a certain select clientele, which contributes to a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. We also had lunch there, and the quality of the food was truly excellent: carefully prepared dishes, excellent ingredients, and everything tasted delicious. For this very reason, our expectations were high, and while the quality partially justifies the price, I also find the prices quite high. One small point, however, concerns the dishes sold by the pound: it would be appreciated if, when ordering, customers were asked approximately how much they would like, for both meat and fish, to allow for a more informed choice. Although I really appreciated the structure, I didn't fully grasp the difference between a lido and a beach club: the services are excellent, but I didn't find any elements so distinctive as to perceive a real leap in category compared to a well-organized lido.

20/04/2026: On Saturday, I went to Marshall's for lunch with a group of nine and had a wonderful time. Despite the large number of us, the service was impeccable: the waiters paid attention to every detail, with particular attention to me, as I have celiac disease. It's truly rare to find a sushi restaurant with this much attention to gluten-free options, and even rarer to be able to enjoy even the gluten-free teriyaki sauce. This attention to detail truly makes a difference. I highly recommend it to both celiacs and anyone who loves good sushi. I'll definitely be back!

20/03/2026: Strawberry syrup on sushi. American cheese on salmon rolls. ‘Owner’ doesn’t say a word of greeting, but watches tik-toks on full blast in front of customers. Wait staff touches plates and glasses still in use. Avoid.

26/03/2026: The place was cold and unheated, the food was mostly microwaved, many dishes weren't fresh, and almost nothing was freshly made (nigiri, fried rice). Also, pay attention to the receipt, because as soon as we left, we realized they had added two coffees and a bottle of water. We were refunded the difference, but we weren't happy.

18/02/2026: From the outside, it doesn't convey how welcoming it actually is. The entrance on Corso Garibaldi is perhaps a little forgettable and could be better appreciated, but luckily my friends and I aren't the type of people who stop at appearances—and we were definitely rewarded. It was a memorable all-you-can-eat experience, with very good food and extremely fast service. The organization worked well, and the dishes arrived in truly appreciable time. I loved the steamed cream-filled buns, both bunny-shaped and pig-shaped: a treat not often found elsewhere, which made the experience even more enjoyable and special. The sushi with strawberry on top was also a pleasant surprise, a feature I've seen in very few Japanese restaurants and which adds an interesting, creative touch. The only real negative: some of the shrimp weren't cleaned perfectly, and there was a slight residue of sand under the teeth. This is a detail I don't consider negligible, because you have to be rigorous about the quality of the raw materials and cleanliness. Overall, though, I really appreciated this small restaurant's quiet, charming atmosphere, which offered a good lunch at a fair price. With a little more attention to certain details, it could be truly impeccable.
