Shabu - Ristorante con cucina Fusion

22/02/2026: We tried Shabu Lecco, motivated by excellent previous experiences at Shabu Como. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't entirely satisfying, as the place isn't as attractive (the dining room is a little too dark and cramped), and the open sushi menu includes many dishes, the best ones, for an extra fee (e.g., bao, tacos, etc.). Additionally, some dishes didn't quite satisfy us in terms of taste, such as the chicken curry and the mini poké with sweet and sour chicken and onions. Furthermore, a temaki, ordered on the first go-round, arrived much later than the other dishes and was cold to boot. The table service was friendly, but not so much at the counter. We wouldn't recommend it.
22/02/2026: I've been going to Shabu for years, and I come back whenever I'm craving sushi with an Italian twist. The home delivery service is also excellent!

07/03/2026: A gourmet drink, if you will, before bed. The atmosphere is modern yet welcoming. Worth repeating.
01/03/2026: Had a 10pm booking but arrived at 9pm and was told I could wait at a table and move to the bar once seats were available.
After several guests left, I asked three staff members if I could move but received no clear response. Meanwhile, other couples who arrived later were seated at the bar without even asking.
I was then asked if I wanted to sit between two couples, even though other seats were clearly available.
Service felt dismissive — my empty glass sat for 20 minutes or more without anyone checking on me, while other tables were attended warmly.
Regardless of how good the cocktails may be, this was unfortunately one of the worst bar experiences I’ve had.

02/03/2026: If you're near the Ponte Sant'Angelo or visiting the Vatican, you can try this place. It's authentic Japanese ramen; a bite of hot ramen will quickly soothe your Chinese stomach. The waitresses are very friendly, and I had a very satisfying meal.
01/03/2026: I'm Peruvian and I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend in 2026. We had the pleasure of being served by Guillermo, also Peruvian, who lives in Rome.
After a long trip through Europe, his service was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we had. I wholeheartedly recommend both the food and the excellent service.

21/02/2026: A high-class restaurant at an affordable price: it offers original and traditional dishes, all meticulously presented; it's frequented by nice, polite people; it has a very efficient ordering system, allowing you to enjoy your food at your leisure; and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The tempura is crispy, light, and plentiful, the best I've ever had after years of frequenting so many other AYCE restaurants. The ambiance is extremely elegant, with a stunning view of the river. Unmissable (if you can find a seat!)
19/02/2026: Best sushi in Pisa. After a period where the quality had somewhat dipped, I've been back two or three times for lunch and have been satisfied. It must be said, however, that there isn't much real competition in the area.

17/02/2026: I was there in August. The sushi was fabulous. I'm from Bologna, but I dream about it at night and would love to go back every time.
Not only is the food good, but the atmosphere is wonderful, and so is the staff. Even the kitten.

The portions are certainly above average for classic "Japanese" restaurants, but they don't justify it.
I won't be returning.

14/02/2026: Unfortunately, we're forced to give it 4 stars because the service doesn't live up to the menu. There was little attention to customers: we were served after others who arrived after us, the food arrived all at once (appetizer, first course, and second course) and without drinks, so even after we asked, the drinks were served when the food was already cold. However, we must say that we were extremely satisfied with the quality and presentation of the food. The fish was excellent, and overall the food was tasty and particularly carefully crafted. One last "flaw": avoid the desserts; they're all pre-packaged.
12/01/2026: I came with my friends for dinner. I was very pleased with the food, and the atmosphere was very quiet and clean. Kudos also to the waiters, who were very attentive and professional. Highly recommended, the best sushi in Lodi.

31/10/2025: This restaurant is truly fantastic. The food is good, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is great.
We ate at this restaurant about ten times during a business trip, and the quality is always excellent. The only thing we didn't like was the tempura.
24/10/2025: The food is decent, although you can often smell the oil, even on the rice and spaghetti. Prices are average. The atmosphere is pleasant in the evening, with lights on the tables. You can often smell the fried food, but you eventually get used to it, and in any case, it seems common in this type of restaurant. Recommended.
