23/11/2025: The restaurante is beautifully decorated, mainly with wood furnitures. That gives a cozy vibe. The waiters were very attentive. The food was tasty. I ordered a Flan alla Erbe di Campo con Salsa di Montasio as Antipasto, and a Risotto Al Boschetto as Primi. We were a group of 4, and went on a Saturday for dinner. We did a reservation so I am not sure if it is possible to go spontaneously.

14/11/2025: Wrapped up the third prosciutto tasting of the day at a place clearly designed for large tourist groups — think big tables, fast service, and a menu built for quick selection
Despite the setup, the food was genuinely impressive. The prosciutto and cheese were absolutely top-tier — rich in flavorful and very smooth. Sadly, the bread and house wine didn’t quite match the quality, leaving a bit of a sour note on an otherwise delicious experience.
Still, we didn’t leave empty-handed — stocked up on plenty of stuff to take home.

The pizza is very good, the prices are great, and the service is excellent.

26/05/2025: Raffaele and his team took care of our wedding at Duino Castle, and we can only say: THANK YOU! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the planning in the months leading up to the wedding (we live abroad and had no stress: Raffaele took care of everything), to the day itself. Our guests were speechless with the delicious food and, above all, the friendliness and warmth of the entire staff.
We would choose Il Platina 1,000 times over! 😊

25/11/2025: The food was good, and the ingredients were carefully selected. I really enjoyed the tagliolini with San Daniele ham. It's a shame the portions were a bit small. For our main course, we chose two dishes of goose with mashed potatoes that were off the menu and had no prices displayed. My advice: always display the prices because, like me, other customers at the register might be surprised by the excessive prices.
