30/09/2025: In the heart of Cividale, right in the center, we found this place that won us over. The Frico and cured meats were truly inviting: fresh, tastefully presented, and with an authentic flavor reminiscent of local traditions. Each bite was a pleasant discovery, made even better by the welcoming atmosphere. And last but not least: the prices are fair, making the experience truly complete and satisfying. We recommend this stop to anyone who wants to experience Cividale with all their senses.

17/10/2025: The food is excellent: the tortelli with shrimp and scallops are excellent; the venison with polenta is very good; the rosemary potatoes are excellent; and the service is remarkable!

15/10/2025: A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Cividale, with several rooms and an outdoor terrace. The staff is friendly and professional. We ordered a portion of frico and a portion of veal cheeks. The portions were adequate, the wait time was reasonable, and the dishes were very tasty. The bill was moderate.

24/10/2025: We had dinner with friends and had a great time. The cuisine was carefully prepared in keeping with the traditions of the Valleys. The pumpkin and chestnut gnocchi are a must-try, and the Frico was excellent!

11/10/2025: Intrigued by the INVITATION TO LUNCH IN THE NATISONE VALLEYS (from October 4th to December 8th, 2025), we chose Al giro di Boa as our first restaurant and.....a wonderful surprise!!! A sincere, straightforward menu, without frills but made with so much passion and love, and I immediately said to my mother, "There's a woman in the kitchen!" Yes, I want to meet her. I loved the whole-wheat Palacinka with leek and speck...the pork tenderloin with prunes...I can't wait to try all the other dishes on offer. Highly recommended!

08/11/2025: Excellent pizza with a dough made with truly high-quality flours. The "cornicione" version is special, evoking the authentic Nopoletana pizza. Selected, high-quality ingredients. Well done!

01/11/2025: The pizzas arrived not as described on the menu. I asked for an explanation and was told that they've always made it that way (which wasn't true because I've always eaten there and it was something else). The pizza had oregano and not even a trace of oregano. The service was slow, there were five of us, and the fifth pizza arrived very late. The price was exorbitant for pizzas that weren't even good! The restaurant is better.

07/10/2025: Let me start by saying that we try a different place in Friuli every week, but this time it was Alla Speranza, which I had included in this group of restaurants. The welcome was average, and the staff were kind enough to reserve a table. The location is beautiful, with three different dining rooms, two of which were even more beautiful than the other. The dishes, including those offered off-menu, were very well prepared, and the quality was noteworthy, except for the first course—tortelloni or similar fish-filled dishes with a mussel stew. They weren't thrilling, not because of the sauce, which was superb, but because of the colorful pasta, which tasted like nothing. Perhaps a lasagna or something else would be better. The wine from local producers was really good. On a negative note, the service seemed subpar at times; you couldn't pour other wine into the same glasses, especially in places where another type of wine had been tasted. The glasses had to be changed at all costs, and the placemats weren't exactly attractive; a standard tablecloth with stain protectors would have been a good choice in a place like this. This rating is based on our personal experience compared to other reviewed restaurants. All things considered, we'd be happy to return. The owner was very kind.

18/08/2025: An agriturismo unlike any other. Excellent value for money. Excellent food, all homemade. We've been dining here for years whenever we can. The wines are also excellent. Highly recommended.
