26/02/2026: By mutual agreement among former colleagues, we decide to have lunch at the Gelindo dei Magredi Restaurant, located near the village of Vivaro (Pordenone). The entire restaurant (which also has a riding stable and an outdoor swimming pool open in the summer) finds its worthy setting in the vast adjacent countryside, a protected area for its numerous botanical rarities and birdlife. A very valid structure from a logistical point of view with very large internal spaces from which rooms can be obtained for a more intimate and refined convivial gathering. Wide choice on the menu whose first course is the exquisite Maltagliati (Blecs in Friulian) served with herbs, potatoes with mature cheese and pitina (typical smoked salami from the Tramontina Valley - delicious!) .... what can I say .... absolutely worth a visit because to the sight and to the palate everything is even richer and more intense. The wines of the area - the famous Vini dei Magredi - accompany each course worthily!!! Highly recommended as very clean, tidy and truly articulated in the internal and external layout. Very friendly staff and attentive to individual needs!

15/02/2026: This restaurant has several dining rooms, but be careful when booking because the menus and prices differ between Tinello and Corte dei Venti. The former offers traditional dishes presented in a gourmet style, carefully prepared but rather limited in quantity and with higher prices. The latter offers a more popular and informal menu with more affordable prices. It's unfortunate that the wait between courses in the Tinello dining room was excessively long. The atmosphere is welcoming.

In the evening, they offer a wide selection of club sandwiches, toasted sandwiches, stuffed toasted sandwiches, pizza, and à la carte options. The staff is polite and friendly, and the portions are always generous, as are the pizzas, both with a fixed-price menu at lunchtime and in the evening. Prices are average, the ingredients are good, and depending on the day, they offer a variety of doughs, so you can choose between regular dough or the dough of the day, such as kammut dough, whole wheat dough, etc. Takeout is also available. A wide selection of pizzas is available, and at the entrance there's always a blackboard with the pizzas of the week. We've tried them on several occasions, and they always live up to our pizza lover's expectations. Highly recommended!

22/12/2025: The best pizza!! Delicious dough, easy to digest, nice size and well-topped. For me, it's the best pizza. There are plenty of tables, but after a certain hour, if the place is full, it can get very crowded, so if you want a quiet dinner, it's best to arrive early.

27/12/2025: We went to this pizzeria on Boxing Day. The Sant'Osvaldo pizza with burrata was delicious, with a light, crispy crust and a generous, flavorful topping. "The staff was very helpful and kind, making us feel right at home." The prices are a bit high, but the quality and quantity of the food justify it. I recommend trying the desserts too!!

22/02/2026: I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so to protect others who, like me, stumbled upon the stall. Today, it was at Nevegal, which sells cheese and cured meats, run by the owner of the mountain hut. I bought some cheese, and I said, "A small piece," and he marked it with a knife. I said, "Let's cut it, thank you." He moved the knife half a centimeter and immediately cut it, 750 grams. The prices weren't displayed for any of the products. I calculated that I paid more than €30 per kilo, even though the scales showed €20 per kilo when he weighed it. Magic scales? Then he insisted that I buy 2.50 grams of stracchino for five euros. I don't know how he calculates. He didn't give me a receipt, and obviously no details of the expense. Unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to ask him for the receipt and the price of the cheeses because I was with my family. I did some research and saw that many people at the markets complain that he cheats with prices. Be very careful.
