17/03/2026: I write this review with deep regret. We chose this place to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, reassured by a rehearsal dinner about a month earlier, where the owner had proven friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, on the day of the event, the reality was different. ​The owner didn't even bother to stop by the table to say hello, a joke, or a good wish. Furthermore, the service management left us speechless: ​Disorganized service: there were several highly questionable moments, but I'll mention just one example: the cake was literally 'abandoned' on the table while the dirty plates from the main course were still there. I had to get up myself to go find the waiters and ask for it to finally be cut and served to the guests. A moment that should have been the highlight of the celebration became a source of embarrassment. ​Disappointing food: unfortunately, the quality didn't live up to the previous experience or the occasion. Lack of attention: they didn't offer a second cake, even though there was some left over. The birthday girl was given a slice that was completely cracked and decidedly less presentable than the others. No one on the staff offered to wrap the cake and take it away, leaving it to go to waste. In short, so many small details were overlooked, and since I chose the venue, ​I felt very embarrassed along with my guests due to the disorganization and lack of attention they received. It's a real shame that a once-in-a-lifetime occasion was handled so superficially, even with such a high bill. I will never return.

16/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance, visiting a customer who was chosen because it was on the street. It was a pleasant surprise. A Slow Food Presidium, we ate chicken liver pâté with figs and spaghetti with white duck ragù. Delicious.

16/09/2025: We stopped by chance. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and the menu offers a decent number of courses. The ingredients and preparation are top-quality. If it's on the menu, I recommend the liver pâté with figs and toasted brioche, and the rabbit. The bread and chocolate cake is excellent. The price is in line with the quality.

24/02/2026: Today I waited 45/50 minutes for a mixed grill, but in the end the wait was fine, the meat was well cooked and the service was good. The only thing that I'm not very interested in, besides the preparation and presentation of the food, is the care of the building and the garden, which could benefit from a little more attention, considering that it is seen as the face of the place.

23/01/2026: I would call La Stella a comfort restaurant... a place where you feel good. The food is high-quality, and the dishes are the kind that will bring back long-faded memories. First, you'll find a platter of salami waiting for you. You'll also find good old-fashioned cuisine, featuring excellent tripe, flavorful snails, and first courses prepared to perfection. My partner Antonella and I wanted to try their fantastic risotto for our first course, where pepper, cheese, and pears are perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed a taste of snails and their amazing rabbit in tecia!!! The service is precise and attentive, with cutlery changed after every dish... and when Regis lists the menu, it's like being at the theater 😂. The interior of the restaurant is worth exploring, corner by corner, noticing the details. The lit fireplace completes a splendid picture, and Regis and his staff do the rest. Oh, if Regis, while listing the menu, tells you that the rabbit was shot in the countryside of Toppo and Travesio and that the pigeon used in the sauce comes from the bell tower of Meduno...it could all be true. We'll see you again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

18/02/2026: I visited Afro on Sundays at noon. Entering this restaurant is like taking a dive into the roots of Friuli. Everything here speaks of Friuli: the staff, the dishes served, and the atmosphere. Here, you can taste Coradazzi Prosciutto sliced ​​with a flywheel slicer, a cutting system that enhances the flavor of the prosciutto like no other. You can see the slicer in the main room, all red and shiny, proudly displayed.

17/12/2025: I've been frequenting Da Afro for years. Owner Dario applies a simple yet extraordinarily effective philosophy: seasonality and quality, quality and seasonality! The menu changes practically every season, and the cuisine uses locally sourced products, crafted into never-pretentious recipes rooted in Friulian tradition (and beyond). In winter, a roaring fireplace adds to the restaurant's emotional warmth.

04/09/2025: We stopped here for lunch during a road trip, and it was a delightful surprise! First, the kindness of the owner, who set up a table even though it was a little late, and then the good quality of the food: given the availability, we went for the mushrooms, both with excellent tagliatelle and grilled! It's a shame we were traveling, because the restaurant deserved more attention. Who knows, maybe we'll be back again soon!

19/10/2025: Agribirrificio Romano is always a perfect destination for dinners and aperitifs with friends. A welcoming atmosphere, excellent craft beers, and a perfect place to meet up and spend a pleasant evening with friends.

Exceptional welcome, exceptional service, but above all, the food is like a Michelin-starred restaurant, not an osteria... the prices are very reasonable... A stop is a MUST!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
