31/08/2025: DO NOT SIT AT THIS PLACE: Quick lunch. There are three options in the area, so we choose the one that promises "gourmet pizza," even though it's a seafood place—and a bell should have rung already. Anyway, we sit down. There are only three pizzas on the menu: Margherita and two other flavors that, thankfully, we didn't even consider. We're playing it safe (or so we thought): two Margheritas. Simple. Basic. The soul of pizza. And instead... a total disaster. The pizzas arrive. It couldn't be sadder: flat, soggy, with anonymous ingredients and zero flavor. They looked like they came straight from the frozen food section of the supermarket. But I'm not kidding: the Margherita at Lidl is prettier and, yes, even tastier. And I mean this with the utmost seriousness. The bill arrives: €32.50 for two pizzas. Thirty. Two. Fifty. For an experience that can only be described as embarrassing. A complete mockery. Now, the question: if you own a seafood restaurant, why do you insist on offering pizza? And if you really want to make it, at least try. Because selling frozen food as "gourmet" is an insult to those who truly work with respect for the customer—and for Italian cuisine. Instead of offering everything and doing it poorly, focus on what you know how to do (assuming there is something). Do less, do it better, stop selling smoke and fooling people. Final message to potential customers: don't make our mistake. Avoid this place. Any other alternative is better. Even a takeout pizza would beat this superficial "gourmet experience."

07/04/2026: We stopped for lunch by chance on the way home. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the food was excellent.

07/04/2026: Never again! We had been to this restaurant before and had a great experience, but with the change of management, the experience was completely disappointing. We booked on Friday for Easter Sunday and upon arrival, we were forced to choose a €55 fixed menu, without anyone having informed us of this when we booked. A total lack of transparency. After being seated, we waited almost half an hour without receiving anything except some bread. Meanwhile, we noticed that other tables were being given an à la carte menu to choose from, something we had explicitly denied. An absurd and decidedly unfair situation. The food then made the situation even worse: the fritto misto was even sweet, probably made with the wrong batter, inedible. When we asked for an explanation for the different treatment compared to other customers, we received no adequate response. The owner was unprofessional, avoiding providing clear answers. Despite this, we were charged €80 for three cold appetizers, which arrived after an unjustified wait and were extremely poor. We actually only ate that, deciding to leave immediately once we understood the situation. If you decide to offer a set menu, you should clearly communicate this at the time of booking, giving the customer the option to choose. Saying one thing and then acting differently at other tables is simply a joke. A terrible experience from every perspective; we will never return.

12/06/2026: Excellent experience for a couple. Excellent location, just 3 minutes from the beach at a leisurely pace and about 10 minutes from Viale Ceccarini, which can be reached along the excellently managed seafront promenade: the bike path and pedestrian path are very wide and separate. The hotel staff were very attentive to our requests, with the typical smiles of the Romagna Riviera. The room was spacious and furnished with comfort and practicality in mind. The wardrobe was very beautiful, with lots of wooden figures. The electric shutters were definitely worth mentioning. The bathroom was typically small and minimal, but clean and easy to move around. The bed and bathroom were very comfortable and soft. Upon arrival, two very soft bathrobes and slippers were placed on the bed. Breakfast was rich with pastries, various yogurts, juices, eggs cooked three ways, bacon, lots of fruit, cereals, and various jams, etc. Very good meals served buffet-style, but with a very attentive staff. Four first courses and four second courses, plus many appetizers and side dishes. Four fresh cakes made me give up my diet on the second day. The taste was worthy of the appearance. But the most noteworthy feature is the presence of a small heated outdoor pool in the garden of the Royal Hotel, also owned by them and adjacent to the Diamond. A spiral staircase leads up to a terrace with a beautiful outdoor sauna and a hot tub that can comfortably seat four or more people, ideal for the more sociable. Another spiral staircase leads up to a second solarium terrace with synthetic grass, some loungers, and another hot tub. Currently, the internet and their advertising materials state that this area requires a fee, but in reality it is completely free. Unfortunately, it's only been under new management for four months, and some issues need to be addressed, as well as some minor, perfectly acceptable imperfections that can arise, but which they promptly address and improve. The two closest beaches are paid for directly at the hotel and are both well-maintained, with the option of a hot shower for 50 cents. Hotel bicycles are free to use, and sweets and lemon-mint water are always refilled in the lobby. A special feature is the presence of numerous mirrors everywhere. In the room, one wall is just a mirror, and some of the fixtures, both in the room and throughout the hotel, have mirrors. Everything is very clean. Highly recommended, and I suggest you take advantage of it this summer of 2026, because the price is very low, precisely to make up for the bad reviews of the previous owners and to attract new customers. If you find reviews from before 2026, ignore them. I hope the new owners continue like this and maintain the service and kindness they showed during my second week of June. 26/09/2025: The place is aesthetically pleasing, very charming and quaint. It's a shame the price is decidedly excessive for the quality of the food and wine, which really needs updating. The waitress was courteous and friendly, but she did note that the bill wasn't splittable.

08/09/2025: Picturesque place. Unfortunately, the food was very poor. The prosciutto crudo was sliced ​​too thickly and wasn't fresh at all. The rabbit was completely dry. The tagliata di manzo was full of sinew and wasn't cooked medium, but well-done and dry. The polenta was barely salted. And yet the prices were exorbitant...

07/09/2025: The food was awful and overpriced, the staff was slow and confused and rude - the waiter basically “throw” the food on the table it almost fell. The only good thing was the Aperol. We paid almost 40€ for a shitty lunch with awful service.

23/06/2026: Wonderful location on the beach, exposed to the sea breeze. Absolutely comfortable and informal. The spaghetti with clams is delicious. The seafood salad is less satisfying. It's unfortunate to say, but to get a receipt at the cashier, I've always had to ask explicitly (and this has happened several times in recent days in Rimini Marina Centro, here and at other restaurants).
