30/08/2025: At 10:30 PM, my family and I ordered coffees, and the order taker politely informed us that the café was closed. As luck would have it, just as he was handing the order to the barista, a family member of mine was coming out of the bathroom and heard her complaining heatedly, saying, "Coffee at this hour? They should drink it at home." When we asked for an explanation of their arrogance, they rudely explained that the machine was already clean at that hour. We politely said goodbye without consuming anything. One star because I can't give zero ;) We certainly know where not to return next time.

05/05/2026: The pizza was good, overall enjoyable, although I personally found the dough a little bland, perhaps lacking a pinch of salt. On a less positive note, the service took a bit long, and the staff wasn't particularly friendly or cheerful, which impacted the overall experience. It was also a bit unusual to receive the food first and the drinks afterward. Overall, a pizzeria with potential, but room for improvement, especially in terms of service.

13/04/2026: Very poor service. We had a reservation for 9:00 PM and were given a table at 9:30 PM. We waited over 40 minutes to order. We called every waiter who came by, but they told us a girl had to come by to order, but she never arrived. When she arrived, we ordered 6 slices. The girl went to check in the kitchen to make sure, then came back and told us she had them. Instead, after an hour of waiting, only 4 arrived, and the other two were gone. My other two friends who ordered pizzas arrived after another 30 minutes, but the dough was poor, and the salt was so coarse that when it hit your mouth, it was a disaster. The girl who ordered told us that the piada was included with the slices, but then when the slices arrived, the portion of piada was for only one person. Absolutely avoid.

11/08/2025: Avevo conosciuto lo chef durante un evento a Milano e mi aveva colpito molto la sua cucina, in particolare il metodo della frollatura del pesce. Ieri, io e mio marito siamo tornati a Rimini appositamente per provare il suo ristorante e abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione. Considerato il periodo di chiusura della pesca, la varietà di pesce era limitata, ma il percorso è stato comunque interessante: abbiamo assaggiato piatti originali, come l’abbinamento insolito tra volatili e pesce, oltre ad altre portate creative previste dal menù. L’unica nota stonata è stata la richiesta, al momento del pagamento con carta, di selezionare il tipo di mancia da lasciare ai camerieri, in uno stile che ricorda molto quello statunitense. Personalmente non ho trovato questa pratica particolarmente adatta al contesto: può mettere in imbarazzo il cliente, che si trova a dover decidere sul momento, e in Italia esiste già il “coperto”. Inoltre, in locali di questo livello, ritengo che sia responsabilità del proprietario garantire un’adeguata retribuzione al personale, senza trasferire implicitamente questo onere al cliente.

10/08/2025: Un Verdicchio Colle Bianco, 2024 di Edoardo Dottori, 15 euro, fatto pagare 50 euro. Ricarico ignobile. Il cibo, una poltiglia irriconoscibile, gli ingredienti irrintracciabili, zero. I tanti camerieri sempre in movimento: il sommelier, dopo dieci minuti di parole, serve il vino bianco e dimentica il cestello, il vino diventa caldo già in 15 minuti. Chiediamo il pane e ci portano una focaccia oleosa. Lo richiediamo e finisce. A metà pasto i camerieri ci chiedono se vogliamo altro pane. Dilettanti troppo cari. La selezione naturale faccia sparire questi locali. Le guide, per la loro affidabilità ed autorevolezza, tolgano questi locali, perché ne va del loro nome.

20/05/2026: Warning: Coffee costs €2 in this bar and a Berliner (il Ballone) with vanilla sauce costs €2.50 – absolutely outrageous. But I guess the tourists pay it...!

20/07/2025: Abbiamo preso una cozza alla marinara e all’interno c’erano pezzi di pepe……fastidiosi quando capitavano in bocca….un fritto che non sono nemmeno riuscita a mangiare, unto, senza sapore e senza nemmeno un gambero, grigliata di pesce molto scarsa …. Tanto pubblicizzato ma non ci ritorneremo…

13/07/2025: Abbiamo cenato di sabato sera, affollato ma nemmeno tanto. Abbiamo ordinato 3 spaghetti alle vongole, 1/2 vino 1 acqua 3 dolci. Euro 90,50. Servizio lento, su richiesta. Spaghetti comunque buoni. Non ci torneremo.

17/06/2026: A complete rip-off: €15 for iced coffee, a dingy café with dirty tables and carpet outside, dirty glasses for water, and unenthusiastic waiters.

16/03/2026: Pizzas so thin they look like piadinas, they're not filling at all. There's no point in coming to eat them, I'm sorry.

14/03/2026: A pizza that looks like a piadina! It's incredibly thin and doesn't fill you up. Now I understand why it's so cheap. If you want to fill up, you should at least order three each. No receipts, and if you pay by card, the lady shakes her head and snorts.

14/09/2025: The staff were very helpful and welcoming, as is typical in Romagna. We had vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The price was average. The piadina was very filling.

05/08/2026: Ordered at the hotel today and it is possible without napkins. The order arrived then also cold.

14/07/2026: I’d give this hotel 0 stars if I could. As an Italian living abroad who travels extensively, it saddens me that my worst hotel experience ever happened in my home country, at Oceanic. This is supposed to be a family hotel, yet they wouldn’t allow us to sit together at meals. They assigned one table per room. We had four rooms under a single reservation, and since we were there to spend time together as a family, it was incredibly frustrating to be split up. I simply moved one table so we could all sit together and even offered to put it back after every meal, but they refused. This rule was never written anywhere, nor was it mentioned to us before or during check-in. Ironically, the staff themselves were allowed to move tables around and sit together. At lunch on the second day, after they once again refused to let us join the tables, we complained. The owner and the “chef” stormed out of the kitchen, yelling at us in front of the entire dining room. He shouted at my parents that if we weren’t happy, we should check out. Thankfully, we accepted his offer. The hotel itself is very dated, and the rooms are tiny. The shower is so small that I could barely get in sideways, and I’m a very lean person. On top of that, you can hear trains passing on the tracks next door throughout the day and night. As for the food, the hotel offers a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The quality was simply appalling. Not only was the cooking poor, but the ingredients themselves were of an incredibly low standard. I couldn’t bring myself to eat most of it and ended up choosing a salad instead. It was disgusting. The tomatoes—almost green—smelled like garbage from a metre away, and the lettuce was nearly rotten. This wasn’t a one-off; it was the same from the day we arrived until the day we left. My brother, the kids, and I stopped eating at the hotel after the first day. We only returned to the dining room to spend time with the rest of our family, but the food was still just as bad. The rest of our family ended up having stomach problems barely eating something just not to starve. We were genuinely relieved to leave. To be fair, they did refund us for the unused portion of our stay, and the staff were polite and friendly throughout. Unfortunately, the owners (the “chef” and his wife) were extremely rude, grumpy, and unfair. We ended up finding another hotel that was cheaper and in a completely different league in terms of food, service, and room quality. My advice is simple: if you don’t want to ruin your holiday—or your stomach—stay as far away from Oceanic as possible.

13/07/2026: I spent 9 truly wonderful days with my children and my mother! The hotel is in an excellent location, the beach included was beautiful, the entertainment was never intrusive and very pleasant. The pool was superb and the room was very nice! It's truly all-inclusive! There was always plenty of food and drinks, even wine and snacks...what more could you ask for? Excellent value for money too!
