03/12/2025: Excellent location, abundant and varied breakfast. The rooms aren't top-notch, they're old. Otherwise, given the price, you can't expect anything better. Will I go back? I don't think so.

14/09/2025: The staff were very helpful and welcoming, as is typical in Romagna. We had vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The price was average. The piadina was very filling.

23/08/2025: Friendly and always available staff, comfortable loungers, and large, well-spaced umbrellas! I returned after almost 20 years away, and Ivano recognized me, timeless (and indicative of his attention to customer service)!

28/06/2025: Only for money, no free access to the water. Don't go to Italy unless you plan on paying for sunbeds. We were kicked out as soon as we got to the beach.

02/11/2025: Super tasty burger, quality ingredients, and artisanal products. The place is nice and cozy, though not too big. Very friendly and helpful staff.

04/05/2026: Very beautiful and well-kept place, super location. We ordered seafood risotto for two: it was delicious and plentiful! The staff was incredibly kind. We forgot a small bag with an item of clothing inside that we had bought at a shop on Viale Dante shortly before. One of the staff members met us across the bridge to give it back to us! Thank you, they were truly very kind. I'd also add that the bathroom was clean and smelled great, and the parrot was super cute! We'll be back.

03/05/2026: Waited an hour to eat and then sent it back where there wasn't even a hint of shrimp. 10 out of 10 for the very kind waiter.

02/05/2026: We decide to stop for a quick breakfast at a table outside. After queuing at the front desk to pay and order, we're informed they don't provide trays, so you have to use table service. (Terrible). After a long wait, we finally order, and they inform us we have to go inside to get the croissants. Another long line and wait. After several requests, a coffee and a cappuccino, now cold, arrive. Another line to pay.

08/03/2026: Good coffee and pasta, plenty of seating both inside and out. Many pastas and pizzas to choose from. Great for a quick stop.

13/01/2026: Il Pappagallo in Cattolica... A place all in all, not bad, but nothing exceptional... perhaps the only place in Italy where the four-cheese pizza is made with tomato... When I asked the person who brought me the pizza, who was the owner, but did you make the four-cheese pizza with tomato...?!? He just replied, "It's on the menu..." I said, "Sorry, you're right!" After a minute, I had the pizza taken away... After 10 minutes, he came back and said... He sent the pizza back... "If you want, I'll remake the plain pizza..." So I said no, thanks, and didn't eat. I said... I made a mistake, I didn't read it, and I'll pay for everything, as I did, but I don't want to eat at this place... My friends ate... If the owner of the place, seeing my disapproval shortly before, had said RIGHT NOW, if you don't like it I'll make it again white (without responding as he had before), I would have accepted, but he only came after I sent the pizza back, and for this reason, for me there are no excuses and I won't give him a second chance. At the end of a terrible day in which my car broke down in Pesaro and I was forced to stop in Cattolica... I was just hoping for a peaceful evening and instead they ruined it for me... So I don't give this place more than a star. There is no empathy... The desire to want to change the pizza only after I sent it back saying... it's not that I'll be poorer if I make you another one... For me it's one, it's the wrong response that deserves nothing. I know that in the end I didn't eat and I paid anyway... But the satisfaction of eating after the way he had behaved, I didn't give him and I didn't want to give it to him. So, remember when you go to the parrot, read the menu carefully, if you really have to go there... and if you order the four cheese pizza, say right away that you want it plain like they make it in the rest of the world!

12/11/2025: I happened to be in the area for work and had lunch at this restaurant, which is OPEN during the low season. The spaghetti with clams was excellent, and the mussels were plentiful. The price was in line with what I ate and the prices, which are all displayed. The daily specials were excellent, including the meat dishes, which I didn't try, but the diners next to me complimented them, so... The owner was friendly; when I entered early, he was playing cards with a gentleman. The overall feel is authentic. I think I'll be back soon.

07/05/2026: Sadly this negative review is the only way to align incentives and make this establishment report the proper opening and closing times. The shop was reported open while still being completely closed for the season.

24/08/2025: Good, fairly large place with outdoor tables, close to the sea and the center... Friendly and helpful staff and normal prices... Normal waiting times, I had a good time, others say completely the opposite but I personally had a good time... The only thing I don't understand is why it says "pizza" when they don't actually make it but otherwise everything was fine...

11/04/2026: We came in today just for a cup of coffee, but the experience was so unpleasant it left us speechless. Right from the start, the owner responded extremely rudely and aggressively to a simple question about the bathroom. Unfortunately, what happened next was even worse. Two tourists came in, and one of them went to the bathroom. The owner started yelling, hurling insults, and approaching them in a threatening manner, even going so far as to utter xenophobic phrases like "go back to your country." Such behavior is unacceptable anywhere, but even more so in a city that thrives on tourism and welcomes millions of visitors every year. No one deserves to be treated like this. A place that should offer hospitality and tranquility has turned into an experience of gratuitous aggression. Absolutely not recommended. The only thing I want to say: Really clean and beautiful place. But...

11/04/2026: Top venue near the Arch of Augustus in the center of Rimini. Super friendly and always available owner. Small but super welcoming place! Fine wines for discerning palates! Highly recommended!

14/09/2025: Don't trust the negative reviews. Obviously, dealing with 2,000 people, including families with dogs, screaming children, circus performers, and so on, every day makes you hate life—so Rega, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. They were friendly and kind to us, though. The piadina was excellent, Rimini-style, so thin! The draft beer was excellent, and I should add that it's a historic shop, with stylish, period furnishings that have been restored (it dates back to 1957, if I'm not mistaken). 13/09/2025: An excellent, historic establishment that has been offering simple, top-quality food since 1957. The Romagna-style hospitality is pure. The piadinas are excellent, but there's also a wide selection of delicious alternatives. The beer in a chilled mug is also excellent. The house-made limoncello is absolutely delicious. Everything is topped off with the staff's smiles. Definitely worth a visit. Just steps from the sea.

02/05/2026: I don't recommend it! If you arrive first, you eat last. The menu isn't respected, and the service is terrible.
