14/04/2026: Apr 2026 - I'm updating my review due to the new management. The ingredients are always top-notch, and the menu is varied enough to satisfy even the most demanding customers. Service is fast and always courteous. It would be great if the municipality would provide some space beyond the three or four parking spaces at the back, on the side street (even if only during the kiosk's evening opening hours), to allow for better arrangement of tables and chairs, allowing for extended stays. The large, well-spaced parking lot is located shortly after. Castello's historic kiosk...passed down through generations...delicious piadina. The menu offers a wide variety of options to satisfy everyone. Moira and Monica are always kind and smiling.

31/05/2026: We had dinner with a reservation for 8:30 PM. The service was practically nonexistent, although that seems to be the way the place operates: you order by filling out a slip of paper, get up to place your order at the counter, pay in advance, and then hope your food arrives in a reasonable amount of time. We waited about an hour for our appetizers and almost as long for our first courses. At least we waited with lots of little insects on our table. The quality of the food disappointed us: the fried food was flavorless, lacking in salt, with little fish and especially vegetables; the octopus with potatoes was basically a plate of potatoes with oil and parsley, while the octopus was almost nonexistent. The risotto tasted more like sauce than fish, and the spaghetti with clams tasted like plain pasta with oil. Furthermore, there's no bread available. To end on a positive note: at least you don't have to clear the table (or at least I think so; we didn't).

14/05/2026: Everything was excellent, especially the food. The service was self-service, but the waitress (Sara) was always present and very kind. I'll be back soon.

27/03/2026: The pizzas are excellent and the staff is very friendly... but if it's cold outside, you'll need to wear a coat to dine.

18/03/2026: I had dinner with friends. The pizza was excellent and the dessert was fabulous. The girls were wonderful.

06/07/2025: The manager behind the counter greets guests with a loud voice; even first-time visitors are treated like regulars. Excellent coffee (€1.40). The tramezzini in the display case, although we didn't try them, looked good. The food (pasta, wine) on display on a shelf isn't cheap, but rather high-quality brands. My companion was pleased by the lively atmosphere in this obviously popular village hangout. All in all, a worthwhile stop along the SS16 expressway between Ferrara and Ravenna.

01/01/2026: Under new management, this is a lovely place with an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere. The food, especially the pizza, is excellent, and the manager is incredibly friendly and professional.

26/12/2025: This restaurant in the heart of Cervia is very quaint: the kitchen is open and the decor is rustic yet striking! We ordered a starter of strozzapreti pasta with clams, a pan pizza with anchovies and stracciatella, and dessert: simple yet delicious dishes. Overall, I'm satisfied and hope to return soon!

13/06/2026: I frequent this bar fairly regularly and, until now, had never encountered any major problems. However, during a recent evening spent there with some friends, I found myself in a situation that I found unpleasant and unprofessional. Although we weren't the only customers still there, when it closed, I approached the staff to politely ask if I could use the restrooms. My request was denied in a manner that I perceived as arrogant and unfriendly. Furthermore, the bar was still open and there were other customers outside, without any prior notice that we were unable to use the restrooms. I understand the organizational needs associated with the closure of the business, but I believe that denying restroom access to customers still present is a questionable decision, especially if accompanied by a disrespectful attitude toward customers. For this reason, while I continue to appreciate the bar in other respects, I consider this incident disappointing.

07/06/2026: We usually stop by during a nice bike ride from Monza. Decent place with basic aperitif.

30/03/2026: The restaurant's must-have is the children's playroom, which allows you to have lunch/dinner in peace. Otherwise, we're average for Romagna cuisine restaurants. I'm a bit dubious about the boneless Fiorentina steak—it's neither a Florentine nor a normal steak—and I don't really understand the fish menu with everything frozen... We didn't try the pizza.

26/03/2026: A trattoria serving traditional home-style dishes, a relaxed atmosphere, and a fantastic indoor dining area for children to play in. Family-friendly options will love it. The food is good and the prices are more than fair. If you're looking for a fun and relaxing evening for the whole family, this is definitely the place to be.

01/12/2025: Just a few kilometers from Ravenna, you can rediscover the taste of wholesome local cuisine at the historic Osteria DA DUMANDO', dating back to 1880. We spent a lovely evening sampling traditional Romagna dishes. Everything was truly excellent, starting with the warm welcome and kindness of the owner and chef, with whom we enjoyed chatting at the end of the evening. Highly recommended!

13/04/2026: This restaurant near the center of Riolo Terme offers limited seating but excellent dishes for all tastes. Generous portions and local quality, with friendly and courteous service. Seafood dishes are also available. Prices are below average considering the portions! If you're in the area and want to enjoy a meal from the outer walls of the fortress, this old restaurant is certainly a charming place to be.

02/04/2026: Terrible service, whether you ask for a measly coffee (often burnt) or an aperitif, extremely slow service, sleepy baristas, annoyed, indifferent, and rude. I had to ask for a bottle of water three times; let's avoid serving tables if we're not capable.
