23/02/2026: When you go there, you already know the prices are higher than other places in downtown Imola... you expect top-notch service... which unfortunately isn't there. The staff is young and inadequately trained, the coffee is good, the Black Forest cake is very nice, and the macarons are practically tasteless. What a shame.

14/02/2026: I bought a cake for Valentine's Day, and it was expensive for the quality. The batter was dry, and the topping was all sugar; you couldn't even taste the chocolate. I won't be buying anything else.

10/12/2025: I'm very happy to write this review because we had a really good time. We came from Pisa and stopped there for two excellent piadinas. I asked for a slice of mortadella for the dog, and she was very kind and generous. Then I forgot the dog rug there, and when I called her a few days later, she not only remembered my beloved dog's name but also saved the rug for me. It's wonderful to find such kind people. Thank you so much ❤️❤️

08/12/2025: The owner is kind and friendly. She gave us excellent advice and welcomed us as only Romagna can. I highly recommend the piadina with caramelized figs, prosciutto, and quark. A real treat.

18/11/2025: Workers' menu lunch for €15. Adequate. Quality and price are moderate. The atmosphere appears clean. Staff are helpful but always busy.

10/01/2026: A themed evening with 90s music... with friends, we opted for the "pizza round" menu (€25 each, drinks not included). Excellent, fast, and attentive service; The first pizza was excellent, the second overcooked, and the third raw. There must have been a short circuit in the kitchen, probably due to the number of people; in any case, unacceptable. The (good) music was too loud; during dinner, it should accompany the meal; in reality, it's impossible to converse with other diners. It's absurd that you can't order draft beer. Aside from wines, which start at €25-30 a bottle, there's the only option of buying 10 (ten) 33cl Heinekens for €50. So what!? The restroom with only one open because the other had a burned-out lightbulb!? No comment. The venue is truly beautiful, the food is good, the service tops...all things considered, the evening is always fun, but if we could fix the small details, it would almost reach excellence...in my opinion, it's within the owners' and organizers' capabilities... P.S. The security service, cloakroom, and ample free parking are excellent.

25/09/2025: One of the few beach club restaurants still open at the end of September. The menus are super original and imaginative, and taste absolutely delicious. The staff is very friendly and cheerful. The guys are really good at what they do and were very attentive. They also have a large selection of bottled wines, and the price-performance ratio is in keeping with the ambiance (which is also very nice) and the quality. It's a treat to enjoy a slightly different take on Emilia Romagna cuisine. Bravo

22/11/2025: IM-BA-RAZ-ZAN-TI We order 13 pizzas for a birthday dinner. A perfectly normal Saturday evening where we all want to eat pizza together. We order the pizzas for 8:20 PM. At 8:30 PM, we call to inquire about the order and are told, "Oh, I wanted to confirm the pizza order. Given the number, I wanted to make sure it wasn't a joke." Confirming the order, STUNNED, the lady informs us that they will prepare the pizzas then. They arrive at 9:00 PM. Zero professionalism. Absolutely no way to work like this. I will never recommend this pizzeria to anyone as long as I live.

12/12/2025: The products are in line with many delicatessens in Ravenna, the prices are above average.

30/12/2025: The Bassi era is over. The hot chocolate was mediocre and the ice cream was really bad. I had to throw it away. It's not good enough, a historic place ruined.

27/12/2025: The first time I went to Caffè Bassi was about 50 years ago. The old Bassi family were kind, competent people; the place was clean, as were the bathrooms. Then it passed into the hands of their son and wife. A slight decline in kindness, but nothing more. Today, my wife and I stopped for a break; it was chaotic, with a mix of clientele, and the service left much to be desired. But the worst part was the bathrooms, which were unspeakable, veritable latrines, not properly cleaned. What a shame! After 50 years, I'll have to give up a pleasant stop on winter afternoons. 09/09/2025: Decent place, but not the best value for money. It's the only place where, if you're staying for work with half board, drinks aren't included in the dinner menu. They also differentiate between those staying in the hotel and those coming for the restaurant. Workers are assigned seats in the most uncomfortable places. The staff is quite friendly. I wouldn't recommend it.

25/02/2026: This is my first time eating at this restaurant. I had a wonderful meal with my friend. It was amazing. Welcoming staff, beautiful dishes, and carefully prepared food. I highly recommend it.
