I frequent this bar fairly regularly and, until now, had never encountered any major problems. However, during a recent evening spent there with some friends, I found myself in a situation that I found unpleasant and unprofessional. Although we weren't the only customers still there, when it closed, I approached the staff to politely ask if I could use the restrooms. My request was denied in a manner that I perceived as arrogant and unfriendly. Furthermore, the bar was still open and there were other customers outside, without any prior notice that we were unable to use the restrooms. I understand the organizational needs associated with the closure of the business, but I believe that denying restroom access to customers still present is a questionable decision, especially if accompanied by a disrespectful attitude toward customers. For this reason, while I continue to appreciate the bar in other respects, I consider this incident disappointing.

If ever, strolling with a soul open to sweet contemplation along the shores of placid Lake Bosisio, you are seized by the desire for gentle refreshment, behold, almost by nature's benign favor, a charming ice cream parlor appears, nestled between the church and the trees that line the water. We are in Pusiano, a small town that seems almost the size of a hand, yet holds a corner of rare delight. Here, artisanal ice cream worthy of sincere praise is served, to be enjoyed on a terrace that juts out over the lake with such delightful charm that the soul is persuaded it is being transported aboard a light vessel, lulled by the breath of the water and the sweetness of the landscape. The view is one that captivates the mind and frees it from the crudest cares, so that even the most distracted person discovers a poet, and the soul, almost unburdened by every earthly burden, becomes more airy and gentle. The ice cream is very good, prepared with that restraint and grace that distinguish simple things when made with love. The service also deserves special mention, as the waitress's courtesy immediately puts the guest in harmony with the beauty of the place, almost as if human kindness wanted to match the serenity of the lake. It's difficult, indeed, to leave such an enchanting place. It almost makes you want to linger longer, to pitch your tents here and never give in to the call of the world again. And if there is a small flaw, it's only the small bathroom, too cramped for such a beautiful setting. But it's a minor flaw that doesn't detract from the splendor of the whole. A delightful place, then, where everything invites you to return: the delicious ice cream, the courteous service, the terrace suspended over the water, and above all, the beauty of the small lake that offers a breathtaking view. I will return soon, to breathe in that gentle air once more and let my heart, at least for a moment, lighten.
