06/04/2025: After saying it for a long time we managed to come to this particular little place and I must say that we were not disappointed at all, we were 4 people, we had a mixed starter for 4 (cured meats and sweet and sour vegetables, the latter very good), 2 tortelli with nettles, 2 polenta with deer, 2 cheeses with jam, a roast beef, a polenta with zola, 2 apple pies, 3 coffees, 4 small bottles of water, a liter of wine, 2 herbal bitters for a total of €110! Everything is really excellent and everything is homemade! As it says on the menu you are not on Masterchef and if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you! So take it easy and enjoy lunch! We will definitely be back!

02/02/2025: A good refreshment point that is very popular with motorcyclists on weekends, they have sandwiches and first courses at affordable prices. On warm days you are happy to sit at the tables in the sun.

19/11/2024: Classic restaurant for truckers with bar and tobacconist, where the ladies in the kitchen and at the tables know how to cook and serve you excellently. The pappardelle with ragù is a delight.

08/04/2025: On Sundays they do the all you can eat ribs, good even if a little too industrial, after a bit nauseating Fast service and large, spacious venue Next time I'll try steaks or burgers, certainly with better expectations

01/04/2025: A clearly historic place that, precisely because of its style, I had been curious to try for some time. The interiors are very spacious, and their style creates a relaxing environment for the eyes. I liked the presence of an aquarium, to liven up and color everything. The ladies at the counter were friendly and quick with service. The ice cream itself was good; with individual flavors distinguishable from each other, not too sugary and without the presence of pieces of ice. Consequently, I admit that it is a matter of personal taste when I say that I was disappointed to feel a total lack of creaminess and creaminess in it. In fact, I have always preferred a type of ice cream that is less watery and that doesn't melt too quickly. The fact that it left a slight annoying aftertaste in the mouth, once finished, I admit did not help the evaluation. I understand why you like it, but personally I prefer something else.

03/11/2024: One of the few ice cream shops with tables left in Piacenza, a shame because the ice cream is of poor quality, inadequate value for money, not recommended.

07/04/2025: We went for lunch in this typical and welcoming trattoria, and we had a great time. We started with an appetizer of Piacenza cured meats and then tasted some first courses: all very good. The final desserts are also good Enrica, the owner, was very kind and very helpful.

31/03/2025: Sunday lunch with friends. Mrs. Barbara very nice, genuine and transparent! Very helpful and kind staff. The mixed Piacenza cured meats with fried gnocco and abundant Zola ravioli are very good. We then finished with mixed grill and french fries. The shade of the porch with the exposed swimming pool and the tranquility of a family environment made this lunch pleasant and relaxing before returning to Milan. Advise

18/03/2025: Being a business that has been open since 1948, and having many fans who speak well of it, I have always wanted to try this bakery from the moment I discovered its existence, especially after noticing that the confectionery production was also significant. I can't say whether the experience was positive or negative; perhaps a middle ground, a gray area that ultimately I didn't mind. Unfortunately, I didn't appreciate the croissants. Not because it was Italian-style dough, but rather because of its dryness and lack of taste in the pastry. And I have tried brioches produced by ovens, but I have rarely found them so unpleasant. It probably also didn't help that the quantities of creams inside them were very minimal, so that they couldn't even mask and improve the flavor. The miniatures, however, didn't displease me at all; and if it is true that among the many pastry shops I have tried, this one remains average, it is also still true that it is a very rustic and easy-to-use production, therefore good by its standards. I particularly appreciated the mignon completely covered in white chocolate: a delight that I hadn't yet found around. I can't say the same thing about pumpkin bread, though. Maybe it's not their forte, maybe the other types of bread, however, are stellar, but this one, despite its goodness, immediately weighed down the stomach, so I hypothesize that there was something wrong with the leavening. The meringues in different shapes and colors are extremely pretty and cute. Delicious for both the eye and the palate. Since I have other tastes in the matter, I don't think I'll return to this place again, but as usual I'm more than happy to try things I'm not familiar with, especially when it comes to desserts. The staff are very kind and the prices are honest: I can therefore understand this popularity in the neighborhood.
