25/03/2025: After going in for the first time, I understand why it is considered by many to be the best pastry shop in Piacenza. There is a huge and varied quantity of many different mignon, from the classics to the more particular ones that cannot be found everywhere. But not only is the choice very wide, they are also all fresh and delicious. Or almost: only the babà for me is a complete fail, since the rum had not been previously diluted or even sweetened, before wetting the leavened dough. In short, the equivalent of a healthy shot. But apart from this lapse in style, everything else was extremely good. I especially compliment the pistachio and zabaglione, quality creams. It is also the first pastry shop in Piacenza where I noticed single portions of modern cakes. I will definitely return even just to find out if they please the palate as much as the eyes of those who observe. The croissants also surprised me positively, because the dough and the puff pastry are very reminiscent of the croissants I find in Calabria, in Cosenza and Rende to be precise. Even if completely involuntary, I really appreciated the possibility of making this association with places I am particularly fond of. Although the level of this pastry shop is quite high, however, I cannot understand the cost per kg of the mignon. I understand that all the raw materials have increased prices nowadays, and I also understand that it is a place located on one of the main streets of Piacenza, but this is not enough to justify such exorbitant prices. In any case, it has too many positive elements to make me think of giving it less than five stars; personally, I think they are deserved anyway. The ladies of the staff are very kind.

20/04/2025: Ho gustato piatti di pesce ben eseguiti, con materie prime di qualità e una mano in cucina capace di valorizzarle senza sovrastarle. Nessuna forzatura, solo il piacere di una cucina onesta e gustosa, che rispetta il prodotto e conquista al palato. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è decisamente buono, cosa non scontata quando si parla di pesce, e rende questo ristorante una scelta da tenere in considerazione per una cena informale ma di livello.

24/03/2025: Locale tranquillo con giusta atmosfera , personale molto gentile e disponibile, rapporto qualita-prezzo un po' sbilanciato per quanto mangiato, ma indubbiamente pesce fresco e di buona qualita'.

01/06/2025: We stopped for an aperitif which was very poor apart from that we decided to stop for lunch I took the house appetizer which is a platter of cold cuts with a mini platter of cheeses my husband a braised meat with a beer and a half of red 85€ for lunch I would say very expensive. The food was average

19/05/2025: Beautiful location, family atmosphere. Too bad for the owner who did not respect what was agreed: - the appetizer included cheese and giardiniera that she did not serve! She justified herself by saying that on the sheet she had written at the time of booking it was written only appetizer (but she had told us verbally that it consisted of cold cuts, fried dumplings, cheeses and giardiniera) - ⁠the morning of the party she offered us, with the addition of more money obviously, the scenic preparation by the pool and a small aperitif (just a small bowl of chips for 23 people and 2 bottles of prosecco, of which only 1 was consumed) When it came to the bill, obviously she added other drinks, wine and water to pay: something that had not been detailed in the reservation, in fact it had been written including drinks. The icing on the cake was the request to pay for the coffees! Crazy! Too bad for the place but the management leaves a lot to be desired. I will definitely not go back and I will not advise anyone to organize an event

31/03/2025: Sunday lunch with friends. Mrs. Barbara very nice, genuine and transparent! Very helpful and kind staff. The mixed Piacenza cured meats with fried gnocco and abundant Zola ravioli are very good. We then finished with mixed grill and french fries. The shade of the porch with the exposed swimming pool and the tranquility of a family environment made this lunch pleasant and relaxing before returning to Milan. Advise

06/11/2024: I start from the assumption that I love soya spaghetti and here they make them very good, I'll just say that at lunch there is very little choice, zero raw fish, not much sushi and having let all the Japanese from Piacenza and the province pass through you are the only ones who give little choice, I tried to go there today to see if anything had changed but it's still the same as always, that being said I'll just go get the spaghetti which I like to take away and that's it.

09/09/2024: Good morning, I refer to Mrs. Paola Albertazzi as my wife has followed the false and silly response. We start from the assumption that it will be the 30th time we go to this restaurant. At the table we clearly specified who was consuming what and in what way (like all the other previous times without problem) and we were answered yes yes ok!! Then if, as you say at the table, and I repeat your words, a lady comes who doesn't understand the language and speaks it just as badly, well this can't be the customer's problem, we, upon repeating yes, took it for granted that she understood. He repeated again that in any case we didn't do anything different from the other times, since I don't eat sushi I always got different ones without problems. It is precise, given how it seems here the regulation changes at will or convenience, to put up visible and clear signs. It doesn't say anywhere that the whole table is forced to eat sushi, but the all you can eat menu is not available. (This was done every time I went to eat there without any problems.) Then I found myself discussing the surprise of the receipt with the boy at the counter only and simply because the grumpy lady, even though I waited for her and called her back several times to simply ask for explanations, never stopped to give them to me, in fact she passed by me or moved me away. as if I were invisible 2 because he was evidently the only one who spoke Italian and understood it 3 the only girl who was polite and listened to us Then yes, in the end, by insisting, they reimbursed us (I don't think it was due to recognition of the error) and compensated us for 13 euros (and in any case, here too I specify that the bill in hand must have been 22) but we're fine with it anyway because it wasn't done for the money that you could have kept them, in fact I'll bring them to you if you want but out of fairness and honesty, because in any case many often, especially young people, perhaps don't have the courage to contest that they pay and go. At this point the question is legitimate... were we the only ones? On food, pasta with clams and kg of SAND that crunched in the teeth (almost completely advanced) Low quality sushi but acceptable for the place, you can't expect it. Abysmal waiting times All things considered, I won't recommend going there or not (every experience leaves something behind 😂we have the dentist) But I'll leave one piece of advice to the restaurant (who will ignore it anyway) that is, shortening waiting times, more care in the food, and above all those who go to the dining room must know how to communicate!! And for the others... well, keep an eye on the receipt!!!

13/06/2025: Personale squisito cibo buono ma recensisco con 1 stella perché se non si sistema l’aria condizionata penso non ci tornerò mai più! C’era più caldo dentro che fuori veramente vergognoso avere un impianto che non funziona e non è la prima volta!

08/06/2025: The food is really great, just a little peppery, but even I who don't like spicy food enjoyed it a lot! Large portions and excellent quality of food, worth the price. I had chicken and it melts in your mouth, spectacular! It's the third time I've come, and I've always found a place and parking right away. The service is great, everyone is kind and professional. The environment is very clean and organized. It's the perfect place to eat with family or friends!

02/05/2025: I ate the Bataro', what can I say, excellent!!! They are always on their menu and there is a wide choice to satisfy the most greedy palates. It is also a pizzeria, and the appearance of the pizzas was inviting, even if I didn't taste it. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the renowned Bataro' of Pianello, the best in the province! Not to be missed if you're passing through those parts

01/03/2025: È stata la mia prima volta. Sala con caminetto molto accogliente, il cibo discreto, il prezzo discreto ma, c'è un problema da non sottovalutare: pranzare nell'antibagno al freddo non va bene anche perché nella sala c'erano dei posti liberi. Avrà guadagnato 60 euro però probabilmente ha perso un cliente!

26/12/2024: Natale 2024 . Siamo stati molto bene. Mangiare buono e vino buono.. Il brodo degli “anvei” non era molto saporito….un po’ troppo diluito. Ma comunque tutto è’ stato buono buonissimo.

13/05/2025: Located closed to the factories of my previous company. Ultra reasonable compared to other B&B. A launderette is about 2-3minutes from there. I used to stay there for 2weeks each time and enjoyed nice meal there. Staff is very kind, and I love peperonata especially. I’d like to go again!!
