A quick lunch, pisarei and panzerotti. Very good, tasty, and generous portions. Nice atmosphere and fast service. WELL DONE!

The restaurant is elegant and welcoming, family-run, and located in the province of Piacenza. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff, especially the owners, were immediately friendly and helpful.
We chose several traditional Piacenza dishes, starting with an appetizer of mixed local cured meats accompanied by fried gnocco: excellent quality products, truly delicious.
The butter and sage tortelli were tasty, although the portions were a bit small.
The pisarei e fasó, on the other hand, were excellent, with a thick and flavorful sauce, just as tradition dictates.
The tagliolini in Parmesan fondue with black truffle were truly excellent: a well-executed dish, rich and intensely flavorful.
The braised beef with polenta was equally satisfying, with very tender and well-seasoned meat.
The heifer tartare with shavings of Parmesan cheese was also good.
To conclude, we tried a warm apple pie with ice cream: generous portions and exceptional flavor, enough to make us want more.
The only negative was the pizza, which we weren't convinced by: too thin and crispy for our taste.
The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients and the dishes offered.
Overall, a very positive experience: we'll definitely be back.

A welcoming and well-maintained trattoria just outside the center of Castel Arquato, with a very pleasant traditional style. The staff is friendly and attentive, the service is quick, and the food is truly delicious. The wine is also excellent, available both by the bottle and in bulk. Very reasonable prices: high quality for a small price. Highly recommended.

I was here for dinner and had pizza. It's not my favorite type of pizza, so take that as a personal opinion: I found it a bit dry, but for those who like crispier pizza, it might be a good choice.
The pizzas aren't big, but the prices are very fair: a €5 Margherita is a rarity these days.
The apple pie with gelato, on the other hand, was excellent—really good.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a simple, no-frills place with excellent value.

The atmosphere is a bit noisy. The food is good, but if I order a portion of tortelli and there's a cheese platter on the table, I'd like to be able to add cheese if I want it, rather than have it come pre-garnished.

We found it by chance while visiting Castell'Arquato. The place was full, but the lady found us a table. The wait for a table was about 10-15 minutes. We were two adults and two children.
We had gnocco fritto with cold cuts, which were obviously delicious. My son had a tagliata (a slice of meat) that he really enjoyed. We also had a ricotta and spinach tortello and two pisarei e faso (a pasta dish with beans and ricotta), which I absolutely adore. We also had two coffees, a dessert, two waters, and a 1/4 cup of red wine. It was €20 each.
Friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere, even if it feels stuck in the '80s, but I like it. We waited a bit; the place was full but there were only a few people serving, but we were warned about that. A top-notch lunch.
