22/09/2025: I absolutely recommend this place! The ambiance is wonderful in the old town; with a gentle breeze, you'll want to sit there forever. Giovanni makes his own "spritz" with lime and mint; we drank several; it's wonderfully refreshing. Be sure to ask for it; it's not on the menu. We also enjoyed two snack plates with Parma ham and mascarpone spread. With the coffee, we also had a biscuit, typical of the region, with almonds. Very delicious.

07/10/2025: An authentic Piacenza experience, homemade and authentic. We tried three sandwiches, each better than the last. Coppa Piacentina, lard, honeyed chestnuts, caramelized onions—perfect pairings with a fantastic variety of breads. The staff was incredibly friendly. You have to contend with the small but cozy atmosphere, but nothing special.

02/11/2025: We returned to the Locanda after a few years. The location is still quaint and well-kept. Excellent food, friendly and competent staff, but the service is a bit slow. The portions have shrunk significantly; they're now REALLY small. Parking is a few meters away, but it's almost always limited. Prices are high, but they're in line with the service provided.

15/09/2025: My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful and refined restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We chose the six-course tasting menu...everything was perfect, the dishes were excellent and delicious, the welcome was warm, and the waiters were very friendly and kind. We'll be back to try other dishes and I absolutely recommend it.

15/09/2025: An elegant and very welcoming restaurant, impeccable service. Everything is perfect. The owners are very courteous and attentive. Nothing is left to chance; everything is carefully monitored and managed. Excellent, high-quality food, from the traditional cured meats and raw fish, to the wonderful coppa piacentina cut at the table, to the salami, but also the nettle ravioli and the amazing foie gras escalope in Sauternes with caramelized pear. Every dish, meat or fish, is truly delicious. Last but not least: their vanilla ice cream is a true delight. I've been going to this restaurant for years, and it's always a guarantee. Congratulations!

28/09/2025: For my second course, I had a dish called "da volar via" (to fly away)...that's the title of the review. Refined dishes and excellent ingredients, the desserts are amazing...highly recommended. I returned today and I confirm the excellent review. The best seafood restaurant in the Piacenza area.
