The environment is welcoming, the staff is kind and professional, but special thanks go to my hairdresser Egli. His attention to detail and ability to understand exactly what I want is unmatched. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality and professionalism.

26/08/2024: Restaurant and Bar La Rocca da Franco is located in Piazza della Collegiata in Castell'Arquato, in a corner position which also gives a pleasant view of the Rocca Viscontea (hence the name). Given the time of arrival, I was not able to take advantage of the restaurant service, but I was able to appreciate the aperitif, consisting of a different spritz than usual, made with Monterosso White Wine and China Martini roots, accompanied by an adequate reinforcement of tastings of cured meats and cheeses from the Piacenza area. The only thirst-quenching spritz I have ever drunk, although there are three other variations that are equally particular and fresh compared to the traditional drink. 0 km products and a lot of passion. If it gives me so much, the restaurant must be an experience worth trying.

23/08/2024: My wife and I were there yesterday, a restaurant located in the square of Castell'Arquato, excellent location, Piacenza specialties, high quality raw materials, excellent wines with refined cellars but the real difference is made by Giovanni with his impeccable service. Very attentive to detail to satisfy every request. of the customers a true tidy professional well looked after. restaurateurs if you need to learn something about the service take a tour, there is a lot to learn there, well done Giovanni see you soon

11/08/2024: Incredible food, service, and place! One of my most favourite restaurants in Italy! And Jacopo is the epitome of incredible service… and apparently also a historian 😅. Told us a lot of fun facts about the region 🙂😌 The hay ice cream is a must!!! Chef Pietro doing pure magic in the kitchen!

06/08/2024: I always come back willingly, whether for an aperitif out or for a dinner or lunch, the menu is always varied and excellent, if you like typical Piacenza cuisine then you will find the best. Excellent quality/price ratio, everyone is always friendly and nice, excellent wine and beer.... A little noisy but it fits with the environment, rightly so!

24/07/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in questo ristorante come tappa del nostro viaggio avendolo trovato sulla guida Michelin. Ampio posteggio esterno perfetto anche per chi è in viaggio. Tavoli giganteschi con splendide tovaglie e ben distanziati. Menù vario e interessante, piatti curati con ottime materie prime. Un plauso a tutto lo staff, attento e cordialissimo. Rapporto qualità prezzo… eccellente! La nostra cagnolina ben accetta nonostante il locale sia molto di classe. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente e lo consiglieremo ai nostri amici gourmand.

23/07/2024: Nice environment. Mediocre service and food. We tasted various fish dishes. Excellent start with the starters (not special ones that leave their mark on you, but still excellent raw materials and good preparation). However, with the first and second courses there were some disappointments. The linguine with garlic oil and prawns had no hint of garlic at all. The tuna tartare was really seasoned, too much to my personal taste because the chives really covered the delicate flavor of the raw fish. Very pleasant summer environment with a view of the Agazzano castle.

26/06/2024: Abbiamo organizzato una cena di lavoro e ci siamo trovati davvero bene. Il proprietario Ramesh è stato disponibilissimo e molto attento e cortese. Cibo ottimo, location stupenda.

09/08/2024: Very tasty and tasty dishes. I definitely recommend the prawn tartare with figs and teriyaki sauce, the tartare was so soft that it had an almost buttery consistency. Friendly service, always present and attentive. For the quality of the food and service the price is more than fair. We will definitely be back!
