18/02/2026: A charming restaurant in the central Piazza del Castello. The location is stunning, right from the entrance (with its medieval sign). The restaurant is very bright and spacious, with huge windows overlooking the beautiful hilly landscape. We ate traditional Piacenza dishes, from cured meats to the first course (Pisarei beans). Herb ravioli and rose bread completed the menu. Impeccable service, extremely kind and precise. Fair prices.

28/01/2026: This is a belated posting which I felt compelled to write. On a cold winter’s day in mid Dec, we were treated to one of the most amazing dining experiences. Giovanni, thank you very very much to your professionalism, kindness and friendliness. The food was simple and yet fantastic. The setting with the view was truly splendid. Unforgettable. My best wishes to your continued success.

03/01/2026: I went for New Year's Eve dinner. The menu was exclusively fish-based, with simple yet refined dishes. The products were high-quality, beautifully presented, and the wine cellar was excellent. The host was present, knowledgeable, and down-to-earth. The place was refined and well-maintained, yet made you feel at ease. Recommended! I'll definitely be back.

20/12/2025: A wonderful experience. The place was beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff polite and helpful (despite the fact that we had a very rude person in our group, for which I apologize). The service was perhaps a little slow, but overall, I highly recommend lunch and/or dinner at this restaurant. Kudos to the entire staff.

01/02/2026: In the small hamlet of Corano, not far from Piacenza, lies this delightful little restaurant. The warmth of hospitality is felt as soon as you arrive, continuing at the table. The restaurant offers aged cured meats, fresh homemade pasta, and artisanal desserts, as well as fish-based dishes and a wine list that ranges from Piacenza's finest to the finest Italian wines. Today, my favorites: a sampling of hot and cold vegetables along with traditional Piacenza DOP cured meats, eggs with white truffle (wonderful), and to finish, a shortcrust pastry tart with custard and warm strawberries shaded with rum!!! Everything was perfect... As always!!!! ♥️

21/12/2025: Small restaurant not far from the center of Ziano Piacentino. Rustic atmosphere, homemade, and very good food. The appetizer was excellent, even though it wasn't specified what it consisted of or that the price was per person (€18 for two), but the cured meats were truly excellent. The tagliolini with truffle and prosciutto were excellent, as were the tagliatelle with mushrooms. The Braulio sorbet was special. Definitely worth trying again when in the area.

20/11/2025: The anolini in brodo are superb, the coppa piacentina is delicious, as are the pisarei. The guinea fowl is completely tasteless, truly subpar. The prices are decidedly high, too high.

10/01/2026: Everything was excellent, for my taste. The pizzas were excellent, the service was quick and friendly despite the crowd. Even the craft beer, bottled and red, was pretty good. For me, it's one of, if not the only, best pizza in the province. I promised myself I wouldn't order it, but then... the garlic, onion, and sausage pizza was the best. Yes, the table might be a little cramped, but that's fine with me, because it's not a wedding. I'll just eat and go. Booking a few days in advance is best!

04/01/2026: The place was very nice. There were two rooms. An original two-story interior, still decorated in a Christmas theme, and an outdoor area, a veranda with large windows that will open in the summer, a bit more impersonal. The appetizer wasn't the best; the cured meats were a bit flavorless and cut way too thick. My tortelli were good, delicate, and flavorful.

Excellent ingredients, crisp and well-balanced dishes, and appropriate portions. The service is a true strength: professional, attentive, and never intrusive. You can sense organization, experience, and respect for the customer, something that can't be taken for granted these days. The elegant and refined atmosphere is ideal for both an important dinner and a high-end business lunch. In short: a solid, reliable restaurant with a clear vision and high standards. Recommended without hesitation.

10/01/2026: What a spectacle!! For lunch on January 1, 2026, my wife and I almost didn't want to leave ^_^. From a somewhat subdued start, once we passed the "crash test" of the legendary Giacomone... ;)), it was an ever-increasing crescendo. Applause to the entire service, it was all fully booked, people kept coming in, and the phone didn't stop... with last-minute requests, undoubtedly it's always best to book. We delighted ourselves from appetizers to dessert, passing through the unmissable Bomba di Riso which is recommended for 4, the two of us enjoyed it down to the last grain of rice (I WANT IT!!) to the fantastic pigeon!! All with a wine selection worthy of Bacchus... in an atmosphere that is necessarily magical!!! . Congratulations to Mr. Giacomo, a top-notch host and Bacco's right-hand man ^_^, to his cuisine, worthy of thunderous applause, and to all the staff in the dining room—we'll definitely want to return more than once. Thank you!!!

08/01/2026: It's an experience not to be missed for lovers of good food. Located in a beautiful courtyard just outside Piacenza, with a wonderful wine cellar. The owners' passion is engaging. Highly recommended!
