26/08/2024: Restaurant and Bar La Rocca da Franco is located in Piazza della Collegiata in Castell'Arquato, in a corner position which also gives a pleasant view of the Rocca Viscontea (hence the name). Given the time of arrival, I was not able to take advantage of the restaurant service, but I was able to appreciate the aperitif, consisting of a different spritz than usual, made with Monterosso White Wine and China Martini roots, accompanied by an adequate reinforcement of tastings of cured meats and cheeses from the Piacenza area. The only thirst-quenching spritz I have ever drunk, although there are three other variations that are equally particular and fresh compared to the traditional drink. 0 km products and a lot of passion. If it gives me so much, the restaurant must be an experience worth trying.
23/08/2024: My wife and I were there yesterday, a restaurant located in the square of Castell'Arquato, excellent location, Piacenza specialties, high quality raw materials, excellent wines with refined cellars but the real difference is made by Giovanni with his impeccable service. Very attentive to detail to satisfy every request. of the customers a true tidy professional well looked after. restaurateurs if you need to learn something about the service take a tour, there is a lot to learn there, well done Giovanni see you soon

The light and tasty frying was greatly appreciated, also thanks to my new tooth just checked by Dr. Faustini, which did not even alter the excellent bubbles of the ferghettina Franciacorta.

10/12/2024: Ci siamo recapiti in questo locale con altre 2 coppie di amici . Sono tanti anni che frequentiamo questo locale e ne siamo usciti delusi e amareggiati. Ci siamo fatti convincere dalla cameriera a prendere tutti l antipasto di cavolo ed e' stata la prima grande delusione..... non all altezza a nostro avviso nemmeno i primi e altra grande delusione i secondi. E un conto alto rispetto alle portate che abbiamo mangiato. Non credo torneremo
10/12/2024: Ottima esperienza. Location molto apprezzata, all'interno del borgo-castello di Rivalta. Personale adorabile, simpatico, disponibile ed attento. Superba la tartare. Ottimi i pisarei e fasò ed il risotto al limone e pepe. Da provare la faraona disossata ed il bardato con polenta. Anche i dolci per chiudere in gloria.
Ci torneremo. Di sicuro.

that I can eat) for each of them Daniele, the owner, explained to me both the breeding and taste characteristics, the care in preparing the food capable of respecting and enhancing the excellent raw material, a cellar embarrassing for the abundance of the proposal, a service attentive to detail, a synthesis which is not at all obvious and which I greatly appreciate, it deserves it!

Buono l'antipasto con ottimi salumi e un'ottima insalata russa; tortelli piacentini e chicche al gorgonzola, davvero gustose. Non perdete la torta di ricotta e pere, davvero favolosa!! Il locale è semplice e il personale cordiale. Ci ritornerò!

Ancora una volta una splendida conferma della qualità del locale!...Ottimi taglieri di salumi nostrani,formaggi con le relative salsine...torta fritta e polenta fritta da volare via....Che il nome non tragga in inganno,si mangiano anche ottimi primi piatti,secondi e buonissimi dolci. Ottima anche la cantina.
Trattati benissimo da tutto il personale cordiale e simpatico.
Lo consiglierei?....Assolutamente si...locali cosi meritano tutto l'apprezzamento possibile.
Davvero complimenti a tutto lo staff.
