02/04/2025: Food is decent but very small portions. Careful when you make purchases in this place and when they make you "special" offers that are not on the menu and check your bill before paying. They try to trick you into charging more than what is written on the menu.

01/04/2025: An authentic and busy small Italian restaurant nestled way in what used to be a tie shop. Really neat architecture inside and wonderful fresh food. The crab gnocchi was outstanding. As were the appetizers of bruschetta, meats, and cheeses.

15/03/2025: Delicious! This was our best meal in Venice. We ordered the cheeseboard which was beautifully done and then I ordered the pistachio ravioli. Definitely one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.

11/03/2025: A very lovely place recommended by a jeweler; otherwise we would hardly find it because the restaurant is not located on those fancy and crowded Venice squares. Instead, you need to walk through some narrow streets and find yourself in a very cozy and in fact popular restaurant full of visitors! The service was top level, the food was delicious, the wine was fine, the atmosphere was extremely pleasant and you just would not want to leave that place! An adorable restaurant!

06/04/2025: Peccato…l’ennesima riconferma di quella caratteristica che danneggia Venezia da sempre, ovvero usare i turisti come limoni da spremere. Esperienza scadente da ogni punto di vista. Piatti, servizio, conto… tutto all’insegna della mediocrità. Peccato, la Città meriterebbe decisamente un tipo di professionalità differente. Se siete in zona, molto molto meglio La Bifora.

30/03/2025: We had a first course (gnocchi with artichokes and crab) and a second course (stewed cuttlefish with polenta). For the price we are absolutely not there. There were more pieces of polenta on the plate than cuttlefish. While the gnocchi were floury and tasted of nothing, you couldn't taste the crab and it was again a paltry portion. Two first courses and a water €44 seems really exaggerated to me as a price.

29/03/2025: Comí dos veces aquí durante un viaje reciente a Venecia. Tienen una carta razonablemente pequeña de platos de alta calidad, aunque todavía hay un montón de opciones, con un montón de mariscos. Se le sirve pan tostado con aceite de oliva y vinagre balsámico mientras espera su comida, y luego pan fresco junto a su comida. Tomé un plato de espagueti de tomate la primera vez, y lubina la segunda vez, con sorbete para terminar en ambas ocasiones. La comida era fresca y deliciosa, y el sorbete el más suave que he comido. El ambiente es agradable y relajado, y el servicio excelente. Asegúrate de reservar con anticipación, ya que es popular.

12/03/2025: Resto très sympas, Acceuil au top avec un petit plus qui est la carte en flash code que l’on peut mettre dans la langue de son choix. Large choix de pizza, qui sont succulentes, service rapide et très agréable. Petite surprise à la fin du repas avec un petit chocolat accompagné d’un liqueur de melon. (Génial) Attention petit restaurant victime de son succès qui se remplit très vite. Donc n’hésitez pas à réserver, ou se présenter à l’ouverture.

10/03/2025: Probablement un des meilleurs rapports qualité/prix de Venise, la preuve, l'endroit est fréquenté chaque jour par les gondoliers du coin, ce qui est toujours un excellent indice dans cette ville où le piège à touristes est parfois tendu à chaque coin de ruelle. Allez-y pour les généreuses pizzas ou pour les pâtes, vous ne serez pas déçus. Une valeur sûre et constante !

10/03/2025: An upscale small restaurant with excellent food and service. Only 22 seats so make sure you make a reservation. Yes, it is more expensive but well worth a try. The zabaoine desert was excellent ans although a classic, few restaurants serve it in Venice.

07/03/2025: This restaurant is a joke in terms of prices and quantities served. I never seen so minuscule portions for a main course. An overpriced restaurant with very average wine sold at a high price. Left 100 eur at lunch for two and left hungry. Ridiculous !

12/03/2025: I ate here two nights running. The staff are very friendly and the place takes its food and wine very seriously. I asked if the veal cheeks had perhaps been braising for 3 hours and was informed that they had been slow-cooking all night long. Maybe I was in a strange Venice dream-like mood, but I thought the mixed side salad was the best I have ever been served in a restaurant like this. The prices reflect the quality of the food / wine and eating here made me very happy!

09/03/2025: Absolutamente fabuloso, restaurante de gestión familiar, comida casera - cocinada y personal amable increíble! Las flores de calabacín son imprescindibles. . Venecia es un campo minado para restaurantes, pero este es uno que no te puedes perder ✨

12/02/2025: Locale piccolo e molto carino, personale gentilissimo e servizio attento. Ottimi i piatti ordinati. Nelle ore di punta è difficile trovare posto ma il turnover è piuttosto veloce. Locale non adatto a gruppi numerosi.

15/03/2025: When I went there after it opened at 18:30, most of the people on the first floor were Japanese! By the time I left, there were customers from all over the country up to the second floor, but at first I was surprised to see so many Japanese people🫢 All the dishes were delicious, but the risotto (for 2 people) was especially delicious! It was Myers.

14/03/2025: This restaurant made our day. It was late evening and finding this gem made our evening even more wonderful. Alex greeted us at the entrance and was very helpful in offering vegan options. Inga made us feel nice and cozy with speaking Russian and friendly approach. We enjoyed the evening in this beautiful restaurant hidden in city's labyrinths. Thank you!

10/04/2025: It's near the Rialto Bridge, but the customers around were all regulars, so it felt like a place for locals. The squid ink pasta was delicious, with squid ink mixed into the dough.

08/04/2025: I ordered the seafood appetizer platter, squid ink spaghetti, and vongole spaghetti. All of them were delicious, but I especially recommend the vongole because it has so many clams that you can't even see the spaghetti. The wine is also cheap and delicious!

21/03/2025: Escribí una crítica positiva para el Ignazio hace un año, un pequeño hallazgo que pensamos en nuestro último día en 2024. Reservamos un apartamento cerca este mes de marzo en lo que se ha convertido en los últimos diez años aproximadamente nuestro arreglo anual de Venecia. El mismo ambiente cómodo, el mismo camarero bastante poco sincero pero la comida estaba bien, los espaguetis de mi esposa, dijo, estaban muy buenos... y nos consentimos con una botella de vino cara. Fue después de todo el cumpleaños de mi esposa. Y luego el propio dueño nos presentó el temido limoncello. La última vez que me ofrecieron este suff fue en el cubo de hielo pero esta vez me lo prohibieron. Y luego la cuenta... con las horribles cosas de limón dulce como adición. Señalado al camarero, (que obviamente no estaría inventando la cuenta) incitó a encogerse de hombros y un tachado. No fue el insignificante costo, más la mejilla, la falta de respeto por el turista lo que es tan decepcionante. Así que el cumpleaños de mi esposa se arruinó. Por lo tanto, ni en nuestra visita de 2026, ni en ninguna visita posterior estaremos cenando en el Ignazio.
