28/05/2025: It is a nice, not super touristy restaurant. It’s a very small but elegant restaurant. Food was good but not anything extraordinary. Worth visiting.

25/05/2025: Extremely creative menu, executed well, in a tiny space with only 22 chairs. The staff genuinely seemed to be having a good time and the clientele included both locals and tourists. The food is presented beautifully but breaks conventions, like the tonno vitellato instead of vitello tonnato! I had three courses and three wines for €96. A delight.

01/06/2025: I am not a big fan of seafood but I felt guilty not trying seafood in Venice - the seafood tasting platter was amazing. The waitstaff were very passionate to help show you how it should be eaten and enjoyed.

31/05/2025: Osteria Antico Giardinetto es uno de esos restaurantes que hace todo bien. Virgil es un mago en la cocina y su esposa Lara se las arregla para cuidar a todos los invitados por sí misma. El menú tenía una serie de opciones tentadoras; Lara era muy servicial con las sutilezas. La carta de vinos era bastante agradable. Asegúrese de dejar espacio para el postre - - el tiramasu era exquisito. El comedor exterior está en un patio bellamente decorado que tiene un toldo completo en caso de lluvia. El espacio interior también es muy acogedor. Querrás quedarte. Se recomienda reservar. También dé tiempo extra para caminar, ya que los edificios circundantes son muy altos y pueden bloquear intermitentemente la navegación de su teléfono celular.

29/05/2025: Tuvimos una comida encantadora aquí, el pescado era muy fresco y fue un gran hallazgo fuera de las calles principales. Los propietarios eran muy anfitriones y muy amable. Gracias.

17/06/2025: Super nice in a magical corner. Not always easy to find at the end of a small corridor, but the place is very beautiful. The food is very good, even if the prices are not cheap.

14/06/2025: I had high expectations for this restaurant, especially for the very beautiful and well-kept environment and the rather high prices. I thought I would find original and refined dishes, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The dishes are beautiful to look at, but the taste is not convincing: it lacks taste and personality. The service was very good: kind, helpful and prepared waiters. Overall, however, there are many other places in the city where you eat better, spend less and leave more satisfied.

11/05/2025: Vinimos aquí para nuestra primera cena en Venecia y no decepcionó! En primer lugar, el personal era muy servicial cuando me presenté un día demasiado temprano para mi reserva y nos sentó sin ningún problema. Las pizzas estaban deliciosas. El restaurante es pequeño y ocupado por lo que recomendaría reservar con antelación.

06/05/2025: Pasó a estar caminando por este lugar a la hora del almuerzo y notó algunos gondoleros adentro comiendo el almuerzo - siempre una señal de un buen restaurante! Logré conseguir reservas la noche siguiente para la cena. Este es un pequeño restaurante acogedor, así que tuvimos la suerte de poder reservar una mesa! Teníamos el aperitivo bruschetta que era fresco y delicioso. Nuestro plato fuerte fue la pizza y calzone. La pizza era de corteza fina y tan sabrosa! ¡La calzone era enorme! Más de la mitad del tamaño del plato y absolutamente delicioso. Gran ambiente y buena comida - un lugar fantástico para disfrutar de nuestra última cena en Venecia!

12/06/2025: After a long day of touring the beautiful surrounding islands we came across Al Vecio Canton the music and the cool vibe drew is in. We asked for AC and the waiter took us upstairs. With the low ceilings and the cool decor, we knew we were in someplace special. My wife and I weren't super hungry so we shared the calzone. The light crust was domed high and was at least 14 inches across. Once we tasted it we became very hungry and demolished it. Paired with inexpensive wine and an Apriol Spritz. We were satisfied and out the door for just 30 euro. You won't go wrong with this restaurant.

05/05/2025: We had a very lovely dinner here last week. The food was expertly prepared with respect for the flavors of the fresh fish and ingredients. Service was excellent and friendly. We sat at a two-top against the window, which we thought was the best table in the restaurant. We made our reservation 4 or 5 months before our trip as this a very popular restaurant.

03/05/2025: Could not recommend Alle Testiere more! Recommend booking in advance, was fully booked when we went. The food was a revelation! Go if you love seafood. Mussels with leeks even though mussels had so much flavour; pilgrim scallops were presented so beautifully and so tasty; the warm calamari salad was like nothing we'd ever tasted before. Pastas were cooked perfectly and showcased the seafood perfectly. The staff were so friendly and helpful and recommended truly excellent wine. They gave us a great recommendation of Livy Wines to buy the small producer wines we drank and were lucky enough to pick up a couple of bottles from Livy Wines too. We shared the creme caramel and the panacotta for dessert. Truly a wonderful meal, have been recommending to everyone we meet!

06/06/2025: Sat outside at the table for 15 minutes. No service - the staff just kept looking at us like wild animals at the zoo and could not bothered to bring over a menu or something. Took off and went elsewhere

04/06/2025: We were seated in the back room which was quieter. Great server - she was so delightful. Food was a bit more upscale. Very good. A bit more pricey though. Still glad they seated 6 of us without a reservation. It was close to our lodging.

29/05/2025: -10 for customer service! We were so excited to come here and walked 45 through all the island, when we reached there were couple of free seats outside and inside as well, but we were not welcomed ! The lady with the curly has was extremely rude and had the most disgusting attitude not even trying to help or talk to us! We did not have a reservation and if we are declined to be seated with manners we of course understand and take a reservation perhaps for an other day. But the way she was talking and refused to even try to help was disgusting - this is the lady with the curly hair ! The other waitress was trying to help at first but the curly hair one shut her down real quick . Very disappointing and disgusting to have someone represent any kind of restaurant . She should be ashamed of herself . Everyone was saying the food was really good, but with this kind of attitude I do not recommend to visit this place at all!

16/05/2025: Very traditional vénitian Osteria in a hidden place really worth the visit , great bacalau mantecato , rigatoni dish with fresh seasonal peas, and really tasty veal dish with a top apricot sauce .. really worth the diner and expérience . Highly recommanded

11/05/2025: Durante una meravigliosa passeggiata a Burano (che merita sempre!) ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo locale, fidandoci delle opinioni positive e devo dire che non posso far altro che confermare! Servizio super carino, veloce ed attento, personale simpatico, piatti deliziosi, tradizionali ma non banali e soprattutto non "per turisti". Conto corretto. Bravissimi.

09/05/2025: ¡Una joya de un almuerzo o cena en Venecia, Italia! Esto fue recomendado por un lugareño y el restaurante no decepcionó! La MEJOR pasta casera que hemos tenido en Italia en un lugar encantador fuera de turismo cerca del puente de Rialto. No te lo puedes perder en Venecia, y podría comer aquí cada comida! Simplemente encantador, gran servicio y platos maravillosos y considerados!

25/04/2025: J’y viens à chacun de mes passages à Venise. Un restaurant vénitien authentique tout proche du Rialto mais un peu isolé, ce qui le protège des hordes de touristes qui passent pas loin !

07/05/2025: Wir sind jedes Jahr zu Besuch in Venedig und verbringen den letzten Abend in der Osteria Oliva Nera. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet, die Beratung ist kompetent, es gibt kaum Wartezeiten und die Tische auf der Straße vor der Osteria bieten viel Unterhaltung. Fior di Zucchini mit Baby-Artischocken aus Sant´Erasmo, Fegato alla Venziana bzw. Spaghetti alle Vongole und danch noch der Mont Blanc: purer Genuss! Wir werden 2026 wiederkommen und sind jetzt schon gespannt auf das Menü.

20/06/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pesce freschissimo, in un posto magico. Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante di pesce a Venezia e siamo rimasti entusiasti. La location è semplicemente incantevole, curata nei minimi dettagli. Il pesce è freschissimo e cucinato con maestria: ogni portata esalta i sapori autentici del mare. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e preparato, pronto a consigliare sia i piatti che il vino. Andrea è una persona fuori dal comune, di quelle che sembrano appartenere a un’altra epoca. Ogni conversazione con lui è un viaggio: ti arricchisce, ti fa riflettere, ti lascia qualcosa. Un vero piacere scambiare anche solo due parole con lui Un'esperienza che unisce gusto, atmosfera e qualità. Se siete a Venezia e amate il pesce, questo posto è una tappa obbligata. Consigliatissimo!

08/06/2025: capitati per caso durante una passeggiata ci siamo tornati due volte cibo buono, possibile assaggiare del cibo tradizionale locale, proprietario un simpatico personaggio super disponibile! approvato!
