26/07/2024: A family owned restaurant with exquisite service and high quality food. Each dish was perfectly prepared and served. We had oysters, antipasti. Lazagna, spaghetti bolognese and tiramisu.

28/06/2024: Sehr feine Menus, klassisch inspiriert und zeitgemäss interpretiert. Beste Qualität bei Fisch und Meeresfrüchten aber auch bei den anderen Gerichten. Nicht das billigste Lokal in Venedig, jedoch Top in Preis-Leistung. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr herzlich und charmant und man spricht perfekt englisch.

17/11/2024: Ambiente confortevole e con le pareti rivestite di legno tipico delle vecchie osterie veneziane. Anche il cibo è legato alla migliore tradizione. Tutto alla mano e molto piacevole.

06/11/2024: Reservamos una mesa aquí con poca antelación. Este es un pequeño restaurante de gestión familiar no lejos del puente de Rialto. La comida era excelente y el servicio también era excelente una vez que nos habían mostrado a nuestra mesa. El ambiente era muy agradable y amable. Sin duda describiría este lugar como acogedor y lo recomendaría a cualquiera.

09/08/2024: This was such an interesting meal based on a recommendation from our tour guide, a local. Everything was really flavorful and resembled in flavor traditional dishes with a unique twist to make it an experience. Would recommend all to try it for a fresh take!

02/12/2024: Sebbene sia sempre stato piuttosto caro (e alcune bariste piuttosto rudi), ero un fan di questo bacaro per la qualità di alcuni dei loro cicchetti. L'ultima volta però un episodio molto sgradevole mi ha fatto cambiare idea. Sono entrato per assaggiare la castradina (piatto tipico della festa della Salute) che non avevo mai mangiato. E' una zuppa di carne in umido con brodo di verza. Arrivo e ne chiedo una porzione al bacaro. La barista mi dice "costa 16 euro". "OK". Dal pentolone in cui era tenuto in caldo la pietanza mi versa un piatto di SOLO BRODO con pochissimi micropezzetti di carne sfilacciata sparsi dentro. Non avendo mai visto un piatto di castradina prima penso "vabè, sarà così, il costo sarà per la lunga preparazione...". Mangio, anzi bevo il brodo, e dopo un po' rientro per prendere qualcos'altro dato che (ovviamente) non mi ero saziato. Vedo passare un piatto di castradina per un altro cliente all'interno del quale c'era un bel pezzone di carne. Evidentemente il pentolone era stato "ricaricato". Guardando il piatto le dico "ah ma allora io sono stato piuttosto sfortunato con la carne" e lei, senza battere ciglio, risponde: "ma sei entrato per prendere qualcos'altro?" Io rispondo "sì veramente volevo prendere un paio di crostini al baccalà". Me li prepara e a quel punto le chiedo più esplicitamente "scusa ma potrei avere un po' di carne visto che prima non ne ho avuta affatto?" "E dove te la metto?" "Guarda, se vuoi ti riporto il piatto di prima" E lei, con fare sprezzante "Eh sì, vabbè...vai, vai pure." (come a dire, ti regalo questi crostini, basta che ti levi di torno). Ora, premesso che i crostini costavano forse 3 euro l'uno, io non avevo assolutamente chiesto di ricevere in regalo due crostini. Avrei voluto, invece, assaggiare la castradina per la quale avevo sborsato 16 euro e al posto della quale, in maniera estremamente scorretta, mi era stato dato rifilato un piatto di brodino di verze senza carne. Se non fossi rientrato per prendere quei crostini oltretutto nemmeno lo avrei mai scoperto. Ricevere inoltre un trattamento così sgradevole da parte di una persona che evidentemente ha problemi a relazionarsi con il pubblico e forse non dovrebbe fare quel lavoro poi è la ciliegina sulla torta (e conosco tante persone che non vanno più da Fiore per aver ricevuto lo stesso tipo di trattamento). Peccato, sono stato a lungo un cliente di questo posto ma non ci metterò più piede

26/11/2024: Excellent in everything, we stopped for the feast of the Madonna della Salute to 'cichettare', I must say that the costs are in line with Venice and that the dishes are delicious to say the least. As a specialty we tried the 'castradina', (a typical Venetian dish prepared for these occasions) I must say that we were thrilled, excellent in every way. The guys who work there are also good, as they were able to best manage the customers' requests without making anyone want for anything. good.

15/08/2024: A little hard to find; down an alley so use google maps; come by early in the day to make a reservation. Food is outstanding; the line for walk-ins goes down the alley so this place is well known. The best seafood linguini I have ever had

09/08/2024: Very helpful, friendly staff. Food was great and as we were in Venice we expected to pay very high prices but it was very reasonably priced. It was a good atmosphere and staff were efficient and accommodating.

03/06/2024: A great restaurant serving some very good quality food. Very professional staff, and a great location on the canal if the weather is good. It really adds to the feel of the place. Would go again.

10/08/2024: Ik zou dit restaurant zeker aanraden! Het eten was voortreffelijk, met zorgvuldig bereide gerechten vol smaak en versheid. De sfeer was erg gezellig en ontspannen, ideaal voor een avondje uit. De bediening was vriendelijk en attent, wat de hele ervaring nog aangenamer maakte. Kortom, een plek waar ik graag terugkom!

28/08/2024: One of the best places in the town, it is not so easy to find, pasta with seafood was amazing, tiramisu with the most delicate cream, also pasta with truffle is very tasty, went there several times during my trip to Venice the place is very atmospheric

26/08/2024: Such friendly service from the team, we arrived late in the evening and they were all so welcoming. We loved the food and the decor. You feel peace and quiet from the main area when you walk down the alleyway to this hidden gem!

02/07/2024: First course: Eggplant Parmesan.. better than brilliant Second course: Pasta with scampi.. exceptional Third course: Turbot.. unbelievable Fourth course: Tiramisu…perfect (from one who normally skips desserts) perfection Wine: Pinot noir recommended by waiter.. excellent Lovely ambience, served by staff who know what they’re doing. LOVED IT!!!

29/06/2024: We came across this restaurant almost by accident and it turned out to be the best meal we had on a nine day trip to Italy. The food and service was fantastic. Highly recommended. We were just sorry we didn’t have time to go back for another meal there!

22/11/2024: Family atmosphere if we want the classic tavern or trattoria... but the beating heart are the managers and the kitchen... I was with a friend I was looking for real Venetian cuisine, no cutlet or fried polenta... we ate cod with polenta Saffron risotto a trio of grilled vegetables grappa bastard cheese and Venetian liver... generous portions and great flavor... the house wine is also very good, we preferred a lively white... I recommend you go there too with friends...I forgot tiramisu is a joy for the palate and homemade deserves a little place in your stomach..

15/11/2024: Adequate restaurant. Sat immediately on a busy Friday night. Friendly and fast service. Kind waiter. Tried the Bigoli in Salsa. I would recommend this dish. It was interesting and came out hot. Fair prices. Cheap drinks and wine. My friends dish came out room temp. Pre-portioned olive oil, balsamic, and parmesan. Cute and cozy environment!
