We weren't entirely satisfied with the restaurant's offerings. Typical Venetian dishes have probably given way to more sophisticated options over time. It's a shame. However, these were well presented and well cooked. Overall, the prices are a bit high.

I met Giacomo two years ago in Mentawai and he told me about his restaurant. So some weeks ago I finally made it to venice and to Osteria da Carla. What to say.. All in all it was delicious from the starter to the end. Thanks to Giacomo, Michela and the whole team! Your restaurant is unique and always worth to come! 🫶🥰

We went out to find a place for dinner and instantly recognised this lovely restaurant from reviews I had read early in the day. It was still early in the evening so a table was secured quickly. A great atmosphere and wonderful wine selection appropriate to our meal choices made the experience very enjoyable. The staff were attentive and very professional. The food was amazing for all 3 courses and the price was justified for the quality and quantity provided. Thanks Osteria Da Carla for a wonderful evening on our first trip to Venice.

We ordered scallop appetizer, slow-cooked beef cheek with baked potato crepe, and tiramisu.
All were delicious.
The tiramisu was the best dish of this trip to Italy.
one of the few places in Venice where you can try authentic Italian cuisine. I recommend it with all my heart.

We were walking around Venice and came across this wonderful little restaurant tucked away down a narrow laneway. There are so many restaurants to choose from in Venice, it's hard to know where to go, but we were thrilled to find this place and would definitely return. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented with a great wine list and excellent service, really good value for money too considering it's only a 5 minute walk to San Marco's Square.

A real gem. We went for lunch and went back for dinner because it was so good. Everything is excellent, creative and refined cuisine. The service was efficient, if not particularly friendly, but I prefer understated to over-the-top service, so it was very good too. It's located in a small alley, so you might not immediately walk right past it, but it's a highly recommended spot in Venice.
