04/11/2025: On Friday, October 31st, during a visit to Verona, we stopped at this place for an aperitivo, as usual. We've been going there for years, and to be honest, it's never disappointed us. This time, however, we were quite surprised, especially when it came to the bill. We ordered two glasses of wine (a Soave and a Ripasso) and two "poci," small samples of food served in a small pan and accompanied by bread—bread, which, incidentally, is billed separately. The "poci" we chose were a Parmigiana and a Tomato and Stracciatella. The first turned out to be a simple stewed diced eggplant, far from a true parmigiana; the second consisted of a few spoonfuls of tomato sauce with a very small amount of stracciatella. I should point out that the price list clearly stated the prices, so there was no reason to object to formal correctness; However, the quantity and quality of what was served seemed completely disproportionate to the overall cost and the expectations we had built up over years of frequenting the restaurant.

04/11/2025: Cantina Battisti is a true slice of authentic Verona. Authentic Veronese cuisine, an excellent wine selection, and simply impeccable service. The presence of host Marco adds that extra touch that makes every guest feel at home. The boiled meats with pearà deserve a sixth star: exceptional! @mirko.martiniii

09/11/2025: Elegant atmosphere, perfect service, and perfect tables. Venetian cuisine featuring meat and fish, with a few vegetarian options. I had the pumpkin querelle with hazelnuts, truly delicious, and the Robespierre-style fillet with potatoes, the latter too salty. But it's still a very nice place.

02/11/2025: Fantastic place, I think that what I eat in this place is incomparable to other restaurants, I have been going there for 40 years now, even for important parties, I highly recommend it, personally helpful and well organized, not to mention the 2 owners who are always available and very friendly, well done Luca and Mirco, you are doing an excellent job, your dad will be proud, highly recommended 👏

14/10/2025: We dined here for the first time. In the evening, they offer a tasting menu with a price tag and fixed courses (not specified on the menu, so you're a bit surprised). We chose the 4-course and 3-course menu, with sorbet and dessert. All the tastings are offered as second courses. The food is good, and the dishes are varied. Let's just say we were lucky with the first courses, but not so much with the second courses. The atmosphere in the dining room is very intimate and charming. The waiters are all very kind and knowledgeable. A good experience.

01/12/2025: We chose the restaurant "Alla Vigna" for our wedding. From our first meeting, Eva won us over with her professionalism and availability: she dedicated an hour of her time to show us all the spaces and the various menu options, and answered all our questions. Throughout the several months of preparation, she was always available and attentive to our every request, even those outside of her role. On the wedding day, everything was coordinated perfectly; we were able to celebrate the ceremony in the restaurant's magnificent gardens (and Eva was a point of reference for this too), all the spaces were well-maintained, and the agreed-upon schedule was respected. And what can we say about the food: SUPERLATIVE! All our guests praised the excellent food, the rich buffet, and the organization. We also greatly appreciated the attention the staff gave to us, the newlyweds, throughout the reception. We can't wait to return to celebrate our future anniversaries!

31/10/2025: Invited to a dinner with colleagues, I must say I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with both the preparation of the dishes and the quality of the service. The staff manages to balance a cheerful welcome with the necessary formality of a high-end restaurant. The menu is well-structured and effectively presented. The wine list is practically a journey through Italian wineries, all worthy of a wine doctor. The wine is served and respected with all the trimmings, which is not a given these days. A place worth a visit and then a return visit; the respect they show for food and wine deserves applause. I would definitely say the quality-price ratio is excellent and above average for the province, but the area in question, specifically, is well-known for its restaurants. I highly recommend it.

27/11/2025: The food was fantastic, the service a little less so. The waiters never smiled and were very cold and rude, especially to children, for whom the restaurant is absolutely not equipped. Regarding the quality of the food, there was nothing to complain about: impeccable.

08/12/2025: This place deserves every star I gave it. It's excellent value. It's a restaurant that combines a certain elegance with a family atmosphere. The dishes are truly meticulously crafted, and I'm not talking about their presentation—though they are beautiful—but I mean, they left me amazed by the true quality of the food and how it's prepared. I ate the goose, which is this place's signature dish: it's truly an experience. It rightly deserves the adjective "ancient" because people have been here. Gabriele D'Annunzio, but you won't believe it: even Galileo Galilei ate here! In short, it's a place I wasn't familiar with, and now I'll definitely be back, even if it's 100 km from my home.

08/12/2025: Simply Fantastic We were there for the Immaculate Conception, a wonderful place... pleasant atmosphere, kind and knowledgeable staff... a very positive welcome The food was delicious... bigoli with duck ragù... exquisite guinea fowl... very tender duck leg... not to mention the desserts... I tried the top-notch Patienza... the price was right. We left satisfied with everything. Thank you! We'll come visit you as soon as we're in the area.

21/11/2025: Osteria DaCiccio is always TOP! Impeccable service: excellent staff, fast and attentive. Perfectly portioned dishes—neither meager nor exaggerated—and a mouth-watering daily menu, a successful blend of traditional Venetian dishes and modern touches. The atmosphere is warm, rustic, and vibrant. It was my fourth time here, and Ciccio has never disappointed: a sure thing, an icon of Venetian cuisine. Congratulations!

07/12/2025: Very well-kept, welcoming place. Nice background music that leaves room for conversation (The Cure, Police, Talking Heads). The staff is kind, attentive, fast, and precise. Excellent food, generous portions, not too small, and you get what you pay for. Average prices. I'll definitely be back in the spring to try something different.
