The atmosphere is refined, and the staff is very attentive and friendly.
04/10/2025: Excellent, well-maintained, clean, and welcoming restaurant. Excellent food. We ate homemade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The homemade desserts were also excellent, including a delicious local passito wine. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful.

07/12/2025: When a restaurant is great without the need for Michelin aura, you know its worth the experience.
Our small family of 4 had the best foodie experience in this home-styled culinary experience consisting of local produce served by a warm and friendly team. Absolutely delicious as we ordered just about everything on the menu. That's what happens when we have 2 growing teenagers.
And the view of the evening sunset across the sloping hills just made us feel like God was present.
16/11/2025: Extremely authentic flavors. I've eaten at many good restaurants, but this is one of the few that truly stands out. Excellent cuisine, unique flavors, and excellent service. So much attention to detail.

09/01/2026: A pleasant evening for two, with excellent, tasty, and well-prepared food, especially the horse meat. The atmosphere is refined, an old trattoria furnished and stylishly renovated.
The only downside was the overzealous and fast service, bordering on anxiety. We felt a bit uncomfortable as we rushed to clear each course, even without waiting for the other diner to finish theirs, a violation of basic service and restaurant etiquette.
We recommend addressing this important aspect.
07/01/2026: I visited your restaurant on Monday and unfortunately had a very bad experience.
The restaurant was cold upon arrival: the heating was turned on only after we entered. Several main dishes were missing from the menu: finished gnocchi and finished tagliatelle, which was incomprehensible.
One appetizer called for lard, but it wasn't there and was replaced with another cold cut. Bread was requested four times before it arrived, and a waitress responded rudely to the request.
The wait staff appeared unprofessional and unsuitable for their role.
The welcome was nonexistent and the professionalism was zero.
A decidedly disappointing experience.

The restaurant was notified well in advance that they were preparing two vegan menus, including dessert, and despite this, there were several unpleasant moments.
The other vegan and I were offered both appetizers and traditional entrees, claiming we were vegan (for example, crostini with radicchio and cheese and risotto with butter and cheese), and each time the question "Do you have butter/cheese?" was asked, the answer was yes. Each time we declined, the waiter remained shocked that we were actually vegan, making unsolicited jokes about us, such as "Now that I know you're vegan, you've sunk too low and I don't want you anymore," or turning to the men at the same table, people I didn't even know, "I wouldn't hang out with vegans like that/If I were you, I'd change tables/Don't take them out anymore."
The second course consisted of a small plate with a quarter of grilled radicchio, four roasted potatoes, a spoonful of mushrooms, and a spoonful of cooked vegetables. When I tasted the vegetables, I felt tiny pieces with a strange texture in my mouth, so I looked at the dish more closely and it looked like ground meat was in the middle. I asked the waiter for clarification, who went to the kitchen to inquire and confirmed that the vegetables had been cooked with pancetta.
Finally, the dessert offered as a vegan option was a mille-feuille with classic custard, much to the surprise of the waiter's umpteenth "No thanks, I'm vegan," and the subsequent chaos of finding a truly vegan option for dessert.
While fortunately I don't have any allergies, it's still extremely serious to continue serving omnivorous dishes to vegans, as the staff has no way of knowing if there are underlying medical problems behind this diet. There are people who are allergic to pork, milk, eggs, and so on. Continuing to pass off omnivorous dishes as vegan was truly disrespectful and, in part, risky given the intolerance/allergy issue.
There's a lot of work to be done regarding staff professionalism and training on different dietary regimens. Even a quick Google search would be enough.
In 2025, it's absurd that a restaurant of this caliber doesn't know the difference between omnivorous, vegetarian, and vegan.

13/01/2026: For me, it's like being at home here. When I'm in Abano, I love coming here, especially on Saturdays for lunch. I always love everything, especially the seasonal Venetian dishes.
20/12/2025: In the company of friends who already knew the trattoria, I must say I was very satisfied. The atmosphere was warm... like being at home, and the dishes were truly excellent. Those flavors and tastes reminiscent of the simple dishes of the past, made by grandparents who knew a thing or two about tradition and simple yet tasty preparations. The service was excellent... attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was refined and not too noisy. I have to give it a very positive rating. I'll definitely be returning.

08/01/2026: The restaurant is located in a very charming spot in the city center. The facilities are fairly well-maintained, the bathroom is spacious and accessible to people with disabilities. The trattoria has helpful staff.
The dishes served were overall of modest quality, including the Chioggia-style pasticcio, of which only one portion was available. I was with another person: I had to "settle" for another dish. The vegetables were only roughly boiled and then pan-fried. The taste of the dish itself was modest.
07/01/2026: Let me start by saying that I'm a former chef, I work in the restaurant business, but I'm not ridiculously pretentious, especially when I enter a trattoria or osteria. I know where I'm going to eat and I know what's supposed to be available. That said, we booked a table at this trattoria one Saturday for lunch. Six of us arrived, and the owner, I believe, made us wait at the door, just saying hello without asking if we'd booked or anything else. She turned her back on us for a few minutes while she busied herself with other matters. "No problem," I told myself. I empathize, they're in the business; they must be a bit busy." After a few minutes, she finally seated us. To be fair, there were only a few people sitting in the restaurant, maybe ten at most, yet they seemed quite uneasy. The lady's manner was that very annoying false courtesy, a bit passive-aggressive, a bit annoyed by our presence. We waited a long time to order, and when we finally managed to, we ordered sardines in saor and polenta with smoked herring and herbs as appetizers. The sardines were edible but nothing special, and in any case, very few; polenta with unclassifiable herring; polenta that was absolutely useless and dry; herring from the discount store, discarded and placed on top of the polenta; herbs missing. First courses: bigoli with white duck ragù, bigoli in sardine sauce, and tagliolini with fish sauce. Starting with the bigoli with ragù, they tasted only of orange, which was nowhere mentioned as being present. The ones with sardine sauce were a hideous dark gray color, with a few bones in the middle and a taste like a cat food can. The tagliolini with fish sauce were useless and vaguely bitter. The second courses were top-notch: tripe parmigiana and a trio of cod. I don't even know where to begin; the cod tasted rancid, watery, with a horrible consistency; all three were in pitiful condition; if given to a cat, I think he'd reject them too. We smelled the tripe coming at least five meters ahead, with a devastating stench, the kind that only poorly washed tripe can produce. You can imagine the taste. The tomato sauce it was soaked in was raw, acidic, and watery. We couldn't eat these dishes, and they went back to the kitchen practically as they came out. All of this was accompanied by a cabernet that the lady described as the house wine, but which still cost about €18 a bottle, and I assure you it was on par with a month-old carton of Tavernello. That said, I repeat, we're not a group of pretentious, swanky friends, but I challenge anyone to eat that stuff. Worst dining experience of my life, it'll be hard to top.

03/01/2026: Very quick, simple and efficient service, affordable prices. The pasta with tomato sauce is average, but the sliced beef with rocket cream and Parmesan is very good.
