Osteria A La Becasse In Follina

After an afternoon at the Castelbrando spa (1.3 km), my wife and I had dinner at this restaurant, where we'll definitely return. The staff were very kind, fast, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was quaint, and the food was excellent. We had an excellent Florentine steak with side dishes that were even better than the last. At the end of the meal, having learned it was our wedding anniversary, the chef gave us a lovely souvenir to take home. Well done, encore! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Excellent osteria, refined and well-cooked food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even without a reservation. I expected larger portions, but I was still full in the end.

We had the most wonderful experience at Osteria Al A Becasse. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent , warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and clearly prepared with care and pride. The father tending the open grill is a highlight in itself ! you can see the passion and great attention he gives to every dish, making sure everything is cooked to perfection. It adds such an authentic and special touch to the whole experience. The restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere that makes you feel completely at home. Being a family-run business, there’s such a lovely, friendly feel throughout ,you’re not just a customer, you’re treated like a guest. There’s also a very good selection of wine to complement the meal perfectly. And the homemade tiramisu? Without question the best I’ve ever had — and I’ve had a lot! We stayed at Castel Brando, and it was just a 6-minute drive, making it incredibly convenient. I would highly recommend Osteria Al A Becasse it’s thoroughly worth a visit if you’re in the area. A truly memorable dining experience. 👌🏽

Dinner with friends; they found us a table for ten, even with a last-minute call on a Saturday night. The owner, Lucio, is a true marvel... friendly, kind, and welcoming. Typical local food, especially grilled. Highly recommended.

I recommend lunch or dinner for lovers of tripe in broth or parmigiana, hare stew, and, upon request, a colossal seafood platter with fabulous appetizers, Marina risotto, and other delicacies. Enjoy your meal.
