29/05/2025: The Antica Trattoria Bertolini in Padua enjoys a pleasant and well-kept location: a clean environment, well-arranged tables and an atmosphere that promises a peaceful lunch break. Too bad that the overall experience is irremediably ruined by the attitude of the staff that to call rude is an understatement. Already at the time of ordering, the incomprehensible presence of a trolley with cooked and raw vegetables in the room leaves room for doubt: will they be available or are they there for show? When I asked for a simple mixed salad - a more than reasonable request for a lunch break - the waiter's reaction was that of someone who has just received a personal insult. Grumbling, impatient looks and the clarification, almost with contempt, that "we don't put anything like tuna or other things in it". Don't worry, we won't even ask you to dress it with edible gold. But the real cult moment took place at the cash register: asking for a separate bill unleashed a management apocalypse. “This is how you’re going to close me down, I’ve never seen anything like this,” we were told in an accusatory tone. I’ve never seen such a disproportionate reaction, one might say. 15 euros for a bowl of vegetables, water and coffee. Not even in the most pretentious bistro in the centre of Milan, where at least they serve you vegetables with a smile and a protein of your choice. A real wasted opportunity: it wouldn’t take much to make the service up to the context, but evidently kindness isn’t on the menu. Too bad, because with a different welcome we would have returned. Instead… yes, we will definitely return (believe it), and it will be my personal commitment to warmly recommend it to friends and family… to avoid it. 🤣

08/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo agriturismo non lontano dal centro di Padova Ambiente semplice ma pulito ed ordinato Servizio veloce e professionale Piatti tipici della cucina veneta Meno di 20 euro a persona per 4 primi abbondanti, due secondi da dividere, verdure ripassata in padella, due dolci, vino, acqua, amaro, servizio e coperto inclusi a 75 euro. Vi assicuro che ne vale la pena In pizzeria avrei speso di più Consigliato assolutamente 👍

15/08/2025: A lovely little restaurant with a family atmosphere, excellent fish-based first courses and excellent fried fish dishes. Fast and attentive service. Definitely worth returning.

20/08/2025: Very beautiful and quiet, with large rooms, exposed beams, and stone walls. The food is good, and the staff is friendly and professional. An oasis of tranquility.

15/08/2025: A very beautiful farmhouse. The rooms are spacious and equipped with every comfort. The property's llus is a quiet environment surrounded by greenery, cool in the evenings. The on-site restaurant serves simple but top-quality cuisine, with very fair prices and superb value for the quality. We will definitely return for a few days of relaxation and good food. The owner and staff are very kind.

17/05/2025: Really good food. There were 5 of us and we tried various different dishes. The staff was kind and helpful even when it was packed. The place is a bit dated but clean and welcoming. We will gladly return, perhaps for lunch/dinner under the splendid pergola.

13/08/2025: A historic local restaurant, authentic yet absurd, with artificial lighting in broad daylight and the windows closed. The first courses were tasty but seasoned with too much oil, the quality of which didn't convince us. The same goes for the second courses. The owner seems to have stepped out of a cabaret, overly pushy and overly confident in his ideas, which, however, we suggest he think about a little more before sharing them with an unfamiliar table. The days of yesteryear were beautiful, but alas, they're never coming back. Finally, I'd remove the fiber cement awning at the entrance, which is now cracked in several places.

09/08/2025: We went for lunch last week with friends and were met with obvious rudeness, not only from the owner but especially from his daughter. The latter has no understanding of customer service standards. She was rude, impatient, and completely unhelpful, even refusing to answer some of our questions. The food was average, and the atmosphere was not the best. We've been there before, but we definitely won't be setting foot in there again.

29/04/2025: Locale caratteristico, personale disponibile e cortese, cibo buono, ottime le lumache... Unico neo che ha in po' disturbato il pranzo è stato il fatto che, nonostante avessimo prenotate per tempo lo spiedo per 8 persone come suggerito dal locale all'atto della prenotazione (lo spiedo era il motivo principale del viaggio in quei territori) è stato servito in tre piattini da portata a centro tavolo (poco nel complesso) ma c'era praticamente solo maiale e in tutto tre pezzi di pollo. Quindi non è stato possibile assaggiare ciascuno pollo maiale e coniglio come era previsto. Ho datto presente al cameriere che, dopo essere rientrato in cucina, è tornato a dirci che lo spiedo era finito e ci ha proposto e portato del capretto ( che poi, nota positiva, non ha messo nel conto). È vero che siamo arrivati 20 minuti dopo l'orario previsto (avvisando del ritardo), ma avendo prenotato...non trovate li spiedo conpleto è stato spiacevole!

12/06/2025: Entrando qui senti il fascino delle vecchie osterie degli anni 60/70. Le proposte gastronomiche sono stuzzicanti e si capisce che c'è uno chef in cucina assai capace. Anche i vini ed i dolci sono davvero apprezzabili. Una bella riscoperta. Bravi!

20/05/2025: Osteria tipica e carina...penso 35-40 posti a sedere. Arrivati 20.30, prese ordinazioni 21.15. Stesso tempo per avere il vino. Antipasti arrivato 22.30 e secondi alle 23. Terminata la cena 23.45. Slow food ok ma così è troppo slow. Cibo ottimo, ma non ci tornerò per il servizio. Conto sopra la media. Peccato.

31/07/2025: Era da tempo che non mangiavo il baccalà.. dire eccellente è poco..nonostante fosse la donenica con mercatino,il ristorante ha offerto massima organizzazione... tornerò moolto volentieri

04/05/2025: Eravamo in visita a Piazzola sul Brenta per visitare villa Contarini e ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questa trattoria. Locale ordinato,pulito e grande. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Vino sfuso buono. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto, un secondo a testa, vino, acqua, caffè. La loro specialità è il baccalà in molte varianti locali. Molto buono . Siamo rimasti tutti soddisfatti. Prezzo onesto. In media 30-35€

02/08/2025: We had a delicious meal. The staff was very friendly and explained everything well. Their English is excellent. The crostini, main course, and dessert were all delicious. The wine was also excellent.

23/07/2025: Fantastico aperitivo in piazzetta, abbiamo scelto alcuni cicchetti e un calice, location meravigliosa, servizio gentile, qualità dell'offerta molto buona. Rispetto a un tempo hanno ristretto un po' gli spazi, ma non la volontà di far star bene il cliente. Molto consigliato.

26/04/2025: Locale confortevole, piatti creati con una materia prima di prim’ordine con grande maestria dalla cucina. Carta vini profonda e con rincari più che equilibrati. Personale di sala competente e soprattutto sempre sorridente. Consiglio vivamente

10/05/2025: La Vera eccellenza veneziana! Locale accogliente e atmosfera genuina come i piatti serviti che offrono sapori eccezionali nel rispetto della tradizione,presentati con maestria e ricerca . Rara carta di vini per l ambiente veneziano.. serviti con passione e personalità. Veramente un ristorante della buona accoglienza in tutti i sensi !
