08/11/2025: Trattoria Monticelli is a place where you can eat well, savoring the atmosphere and flavors of times gone by. Since our last visit, it has been renovated and expanded, maintaining its rustic trattoria feel. The veranda area is lovely, with a burning stove to warmly welcome guests. The service is fast and friendly, everything is excellent, and the meat is top-quality. The stew with musso meat is a specialty, a dish rarely found at the restaurant and reminiscent of traditional dishes from the past. The desserts are also delicious and homemade, and worth sharing. My only complaint is that we were served a main course, but the side dishes were slow in arriving, which is why I took one star off the service.

09/11/2025: During a trip to Treviso, we stopped for lunch at this trattoria. Excellent food, a lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service; both the gentleman and the waitress were very kind and courteous. I recommend the radicchio and scamorza ravioli... truly sublime! I also think it's excellent value for money. A truly worthwhile place... see you next time!

Excellent food, well-cooked, and very reasonably priced. What can I say... classy. Too bad it's so far from where I live, otherwise I would have chosen it "out of trust."

09/11/2025: A small restaurant in the heart of Treviso, carefully decorated and uniquely furnished (various antiques and signs adorn the walls). Flavorful beef tartare. Tasty duck bigoli. The tiramisu is very good and highly recommended. Friendly and fast service. Appetizer, main course, and dessert with coffee are €50 each. Prices are medium to high, typical for central Treviso. Fun fact: from what I understand, the cover charge increases in the evening. I'd only encountered this increase abroad.

25/10/2025: LUNCH AFTER 110 KM BY BIKE We had lunch today with seven cycling friends who had set out from the province of Verona and followed the Treviso/Ostiglia cycle path. We booked a few days in advance. When we arrived, everything was prepared as requested and agreed upon. The owner immediately took care of storing our bikes. All the staff were very kind and attentive to detail and customer requests. We enjoyed the Bigoli with duck and, above all, the truly sublime Tiramisu. Excellent value. Marco is a professional restaurateur. Definitely worth a try.

12/07/2025: An excellent, high-quality trattoria. Discreet service, as befits a high-end establishment. The owner is classy and experienced, as you'd expect from a restaurant that has had and continues to have memorable patrons, no matter how you look at it. I'll definitely be back.

31/05/2025: Giuliano is a chef of few words and many facts, his cuisine is inca in flavors and in the preparation of the dishes you eat very well here there is a team of people who make the difference try it I recommend it

17/11/2025: A realy cool place in the heart of Verona, where one can pop in just for a glass of prosecco of spend an hour while tasting wine and munching on delicious tapas and Toscan prosciutto or salami sandwiches... the best quality offered for guests. The crew is friendly and helpful to offer you suggestions for tasting in case one does not necessarily know all the regional wines, which are plenty indeed. The place is decorated as if there were always festivities, what makes your visit a distinguished event to remember.

05/11/2025: The fish was excellent. The grilled meat was definitely not. The cured meats were excellent, and the cheese was delicious. I'll be back, but this time I'll order the fried fish, which looked truly delicious.

18/09/2025: I'd been there for lunch this winter, with the truck, and was satisfied with the service and the food. In early September, I returned for lunch and was told I couldn't eat at the restaurant because I was wearing a sleeveless shirt, even though it was spotlessly clean. Inside, workers were eating in dirty shirts and shoes... but they were wearing shirts. It's true that there are signs at the entrance (which I honestly hadn't noticed) stating that you can't wear tank tops or sleeveless shirts, but honestly, I was wearing a clean, fresh-smelling Champions League sleeveless shirt compared to the other workers, no offense intended. At this point, I asked: "Is it better to eat dirty and with sweat stains but with your arms covered, or in a sleeveless shirt, even if clean?" Honestly, I felt offended....

12/09/2025: Delicious fried porcini mushrooms (large, firm, and not at all coated in the frying, which was very light), excellent and perfectly cooked sirloin, creamy and very flavorful torta della nonna, house wine (by the bottle) perfect for the menu, a great selection of extra virgin olive oils. I could have ordered a thousand other things from the menu. Fair price (€50 for two bottles of wine, an appetizer, and a 350g sirloin). I don't know what else to say, other than that it's truly good food, with meticulously selected ingredients and skillful cooking. Well done, well done. (Better to reserve, as all tables were booked.)

12/08/2025: We had dinner with friends on a central street in Bassano. The meal was excellent, with well-prepared first courses served by friendly staff. Typical specialties like creamed cod and bigoli pasta—all good and reasonably priced. We'll be back, as we do every year! :-)

18/10/2025: This is a tranditional restaurant with good service and good food. I did not like the ambience as it was too clustered and got really loud inside the thick walled room. The food was exactly as promised : traditional fare. What I enjoyed the most was the lasagna. We ordered the red wine risotto, special to verona and it was delicious too. A good place for traditional italian food.

I appreciated the owner's helpfulness, however, telling me he couldn't have known how long the wait would be. I'll still give it 5 stars 🔥💯👋
