01/06/2026: We visited this restaurant tonight, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The first critical point concerns the complete lack of transparency regarding prices: there is no accessible menu, and no one informed us in advance of the fixed price for dinner. Consequently, customers only find out how much they'll spend when they receive the bill, a practice we consider unfair and disrespectful. Furthermore, we didn't receive clear information about allergens, an aspect that should always be handled with the utmost care. The wait was excessive: we waited over an hour for dishes that, given their type, seemed already prepared. We also had children with us who, after such a long wait, were tired and hungry and ended up eating almost nothing. The staff was friendly, but this isn't enough to compensate for the organizational shortcomings and lack of transparency we encountered. In our opinion, it's not a family-friendly establishment and doesn't offer the level of clarity and customer respect one expects when choosing a restaurant.

15/06/2026: A quick review of 4 out of 5 stars: The ambiance is lovely. The food is fantastic. BUT: A blonde woman suddenly sat down behind our table. Presumably the owner or branch manager. She took out her e-cigarette, smoked, and was on her phone. I've never experienced anything like it! With a total price of €200 for the appetizer, main course, and wine, I expect the staff to be somewhere else, relaxing. Therefore, one star deducted. Since the waiter was 10/10 and the food was also 10/10.

16/05/2026: A very lively wine bar with delicious little snacks (it was full, so reservations are a must). The wine selection is fantastic. I highly recommend Speri Sant Urbano! Friendly service. It's becoming my regular spot in Verona.

15/05/2026: Had dinner at Antica Bottega del Vino and overall the experience was just okay, but it didn’t fully meet expectations. The carpaccio had a very nice presentation, but unfortunately lacked flavor and felt quite bland. The Amarone risotto and the beef cheek were both enjoyable and probably the highlights of the meal—well prepared and tasty—but not particularly memorable or outstanding. They do have a very extensive wine list, which is impressive, although it seems more oriented toward a high-spending clientele, with most bottles starting at around €70 or more. Service was probably one of the weaker points. The staff did their job correctly, but without much warmth or enthusiasm—it often felt like they simply didn’t want to be there. There also seemed to be a sommelier, but the interaction was very limited to just taking the wine order. Given the restaurant’s reputation and wine focus, I expected more engagement, recommendations, or guidance. The atmosphere also felt quite touristy, which took away a bit from the authentic experience I was hoping for. Not a bad restaurant, but considering the reputation and prices, I expected something more special.

03/06/2026: Beautiful restaurant with a magnificent terrace overlooking the Prosecco hills. We were a group of friends with children, and we all ate well. The prices were fair for the quantity and quality of the food. I can't comment on the rooms as we didn't use them. High chairs are available, but I didn't see a changing table. Outdoor parking is available. The entire staff was helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend them.

04/07/2026: We had dinner this evening, and the location is truly beautiful, but I can't say the same about the food. We ordered Angus ribeyes, cooked rare, and they arrived completely cooked. I politely asked for them to remake it as I'd asked, and the second course arrived worse than the first. The meat was overcooked, very fatty and tough, and the potatoes were flavorless. I have to say the first courses were good. I'm truly disappointed because the location is beautiful, but if I have to spend €60 for a tough, fatty, and overcooked ribeye, then no! Never again!

23/02/2026: An excellent experience at this lovely restaurant, curiously located under a now-closed portico in the historic center. There's also a small outdoor area. Everything was meticulously designed, from the tables and furnishings to the restrooms and background music. The dishes, both seafood and meat, both elaborate and traditional, were all excellent, I must say.

08/05/2026: Eating here is a delight for the palate, from the appetizers to the sublime desserts. The staff is very helpful.

15/04/2026: In a very characteristic setting, hearty traditional local dishes. Spaghetti with lobster and the mixed grilled fish are superb! Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are average.

09/05/2026: A quaint place near the center of Padua. The dishes offered are interesting, but lack attention to presentation. They're more beautiful to read than to eat. For the asking price (medium-high), in my opinion, the place still needs to work on professional service (even a few smiles would be appreciated), the execution of the dishes (the tuna tartar was unseasoned, had no sauce, and they didn't even bring oil and salt to the table), and the cooking times (the mussels in the peppered mussel stew were so soft they seemed frozen, but they must have been poorly cooked). These are just a few examples, but we could list others. Overall, it was very different from what we expected.

06/06/2026: A great spot for dinner, I was here in early June. No reservations, no problem about 3/4’s full. Start food service at 7:30, for my first night in Italy it was a challenge with the jet lag! Service was helpful and Italian attentive. The local prosecco is delicious. I had a charcuterie styled anti pasta with their house bread - that would have been plenty! But I’d also ordered a house spaghetti with a savory beef. All excellent neither completely consumed.
