I rarely leave reviews anymore, but this restaurant and its staff truly deserve it! A wonderful restaurant, lovingly decorated with many vintage pieces. The food was delicious, and the staff was helpful, attentive, and always friendly! As a parting gift, the owner even gave me a homemade digestif. There was one drink missing from the bill, which they kindly waived. I'm from Germany, and any language barriers were easily overcome with the friendly staff speaking German or English. Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian. For me, it was the perfect end to my day trip to Asolo. I'll definitely be back at the next opportunity! Thank you for a lovely evening!

I tried some excellent Venetian cicchetti and a delicious leek and potato soup with golden-baked croutons. My wife also loved the bigolo pasta with duck. Highly recommended.

The unique yet pleasant atmosphere has been maintained in keeping with the old-fashioned taverns, allowing you to step back in time. Excellent food and service.

There were ten of us today at Al Bacaro, under the historic porticoes in Asolo's historic center. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the traditional dishes were delicious and plentiful. We all enjoyed the appetizers—the shank, the Vicenza-style cod, and the radicchio meatballs—plus plenty of side dishes and...prosecco. It's not our first time here, and the service is always prompt and courteous. Thank you for delighting our palates with conversation and laughter in beautiful Asolo!

A very quaint place, rustic enough without falling into the trappings of old-fashionedness. The upstairs dining room is very charming, but when it's crowded, it gets a bit noisy. Very friendly staff, service was just right! The traditional Venetian food was excellent. I rediscovered ancient flavors. Recommended.

We've been trying to make a reservation for a while, but it's always full. We finally made it, there must be a reason... Exceptional and very inviting food, friendly staff. I'd say Bacaro is the 🔝

A small, traditional, historic osteria in the center of Asolo. Excellent products, efficient, courteous, and cheerful staff. Highly recommended for a quick aperitif; reservations are recommended if you plan on staying for dinner. A great find.

19/04/2026: Lunch for a communion. We were welcomed with a buffet of prosecco and fruit juice outdoors, then we went inside for lunch. There were other ceremonies on the same day, so they were all handled the same way. The food was excellent, in just the right amount, and always available upon request. I'm not sure about the speed; the venue was definitely busy with ceremonies, so it was a bit slow. But everything was perfect, professional, and very elegant.
01/04/2026: Tried it yesterday for the first time. It's the hotel restaurant, located in the same building. However, it's open to the public. The atmosphere is pleasant, not too large or crowded. The menu features meat and fish dishes. The quality of the food is good, but the quantity isn't abundant. The wine list is limited, but you can sample a couple of white wines and a red by the glass. Parking isn't very large. Prices are in line with other similar establishments.
