26/09/2025: It's in an excellent location. At the foot of Assisi, yet in a quiet spot away from traffic. Family-run. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Quality breakfast and dinner. Beautiful rooms, excellent cleanliness. We'll definitely return.

04/10/2025: A very beautiful and well-kept traditional restaurant, you arrive after a long hello. The entire menu is gluten-free, and the prices are fair. Special mention goes to the owner, a colorful and handsome man.

30/09/2025: The BEST MEAL we had after spending 3 full days in Assisi!!! We got awful experiences in other places, and, like a miracle, during our last dinner we found this AWESOME restaurant!!!’ We didn’t have reservations, so we started walking around the door before 19:30h (that’s when they open for dinner). So glad they could accommodate us! If you are in Assisi, it’s better to be safe than sorry: Book your table, you will not regret it! I will keep wonderful memories from this dinner! Food is beyond words. Service is the friendliest you will find anywhere you go. TOP!!!! 🔝 💯

28/09/2025: We went to this place on Thursday night. We had two excellent first courses. The Umbricelli alla norcina. A beautiful dish to look at and plentiful. Absolutely tasty and well-balanced in flavors 😋. The dessert was also excellent 🍨 we had the Rocciata. A typical Umbrian dessert, truly delicious. The lady who served us was kind and very professional. Highly recommended!

11/10/2025: Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The tagliatelle with truffle (knowing that the scorzone-aestivum mushroom is used anyway) had neither the smell nor the taste of truffle, but rather of mushrooms. We pointed this out to the waitress, who denied that mushrooms were used. We left half the portion, which not only didn't taste as ordered, but was also tasteless. Paid in full.

07/10/2025: Very nice and nice restaurant. The food was excellent. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars because the waitress was a bit off-putting. Thanks to the other waiter, whose kindness and sense of humor saved everything.

15/09/2025: A very elegant location with a beautiful terrace overlooking the Piazza del Comune, it offers a highly refined menu. The wine list is excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable (trust the owner...), and the quality/price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.

07/10/2025: A corner of authentic Italian cuisine that tastes like home, of family Sundays and stories told around the table. Every dish is a welcome embrace: from the rich and flavorful first courses to the traditional second courses. The service is warm, attentive, and never intrusive—as if they've known you forever. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, without excess, with a touch of elegance that makes you feel instantly at ease. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic flavors, without frills, but with a lot of soul. I'll be back soon... and hungry!

25/07/2025: We stayed at the property for four days in July. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by the disconcerting behavior of the owner, Mr. Alessandro, who approached our table during one of the dinners to exchange a few words, only to then verbally attack us, insulting us and accusing us of being arrogant for—in his opinion—asking too many questions about the agriturismo. The conversation clearly touched a raw nerve, considering that the owner himself had earlier complained about the numerous sacrifices made compared to the rest of the staff. We believe, however, that such an outburst of anger is completely unjustifiable, especially towards guests who were simply trying to enjoy their stay, without any complaints, but rather with sincere admiration for such a well-kept property. This aggressive and gratuitous attitude left a negative mark on an otherwise pleasant experience. It's a shame that the excellent work of the rest of the staff was ruined by the owner's rudeness.

06/10/2025: Bolognese osteria that lived up to expectations, dishes with very good local products, fried gnocco, fried polenta with squaqquerone and frigione, cold cuts, Bolognese cutlet, chestnut tagliatelle with walnuts and butter, a little overcooked but overall a good lunch 💞😉🤞👍

30/09/2025: We went on Saturday evening for a birthday. The food was good, you could tell the tagliatelle were homemade, and the sauce was good. I had a friggione, but it was onions cooked in sauce, and the gratinated tomatoes were decent. We all basically had seconds of everything because the portions were really small. We mentioned this to the waitress, but the second course arrived equally small, so it's probably a restaurant policy. Parking is practically nonexistent. I'd recommend this place once, but I wouldn't return, despite the quality.

23/09/2025: We arrived at this somewhat secluded place, on a side street, but just a stone's throw from the center, having been fooled by an arrogant, blunt, and unwelcoming response from the manager of another restaurant (Trattoria degli Umbri). Inspired by the secluded location, we sat in the outdoor area, which proved welcoming and always respectful of the architectural setting, a characteristic of the place. We were greeted by friendly and skilled young waiters, attentive to our needs and desires. We ate excellent, flavorful lasagna with Bolognese ragù and an amazing pork shank, incredibly tender and flavorful! All accompanied by an excellent wine (pecorino) and an equally excellent dessert. The prices are fair for the location and, above all, for the quality, but also—I want to emphasize this once again—for the service. There are indoor dining rooms that can accommodate guests in the winter and are very well furnished. Welcoming. There's no loud music, except for a barely audible, pleasant soundtrack that allows you to talk quietly without having to shout. Thanks to these talented and passionate young people (and they say young people don't want to work!!!)! I highly recommend the menu include side dishes of wild herbs, so typical of Umbria!

27/08/2025: Located right in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Very beautiful, especially in the evening. Good food, excellent starters, but I wasn't entirely impressed with the platters, especially the quantity. Cheese was nonexistent. Overall, above average. For a simple dinner, it's more than adequate.

15/09/2025: Good food, good cook, but the lady in the dining room wasn't up to par and didn't pay attention to customer requests. Too bad.

12/09/2025: Lunch in Assisi Let's say that overall it was a pleasant lunch, although not 100% satisfying. The first courses were very good, especially the truly remarkable white ragù. The second courses were a bit disappointing. It could have been better.

12/09/2025: A unique restaurant with delicious local dishes and very reasonable prices. The best part is the self-service system, which is very, very nice! Unfortunately, it was raining and I couldn't enjoy the wonderful terrace, but it doesn't matter because it's very nice inside too.
