16/08/2024: Excellent farmhouse. Located a stone's throw from the Basilica of San Francesco. Don't miss breakfast, they make delicious desserts. Another thing not to skip is dinner, they cook fabulously, everything is good. The owners are very kind and the staff friendly. They have a phenomenal view from the pool especially in the evening you will see a stunning panorama. To return. Congratulations to the whole Carfagna Sandro family

20/08/2024: Very positive opinion. Fast service from very kind people. The menu was varied and the food was really delicious!!! I recommend trying the sautéed turnip tops, the caponata and the gnocchi with ham ragout. We will definitely be back.

25/07/2024: Al ritorno dalla bellissima passeggiata del Fai fino all’abbazia di San Francesco, ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo piccolo angolo di paradiso. Il cibo è stato il migliore mangiato in Umbria, reso ancora migliore dalle ragazze che gestiscono il locale: simpatiche, cordiali e affabili! Da ritornarci al 100%!

23/07/2024: È triste pensare che da oggi dovrò rinunciare ad uno dei mie ristoranti preferiti! I prezzi sono diventati folli, e alcuni piatti deludenti. 8,00€ un piattino di penne in bianco per un bambino??? 15,00€ un piatto di gnocchi!? Ma soprattutto 2,00€ il caffè ce lo pago solo all'estero. Sono rimasta davvero male perché quello era il mio posto del cuore, dove poter passare una bella serata senza svuotarmi il portafoglio!

21/08/2024: Mangiare sulla terrazza con vista sulla piazza del comune, è un valore aggiunto non di poco conto.... Anche le sale interne sono molto carine. Per quanto riguarda il cibo non sono rimasto particolarmente colpito... per carità tutto buono, ma ..... ............ il servizio non mi ha entusiasmato molto ... Prezzo altino... ma vista la posizione ci può stare. Non credo che ci tornerò.

18/08/2024: Un ristorante straordinario sotto ogni aspetto: lo staff è incredibilmente cortese e attento, la location affascinante e accogliente, e la qualità del cibo è sempre eccellente. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è imbattibile. Frequento questo ristorante da oltre 15 anni e ogni volta torno a casa pienamente soddisfatto.

10/07/2024: I had dinner in this place together with my partner... at the entrance they asked us if we had booked, obviously not... But inside the place it was just us😂... We waited about half an hour for the food... Good refined food but the portions were really minimal for the €80 total of which €29 for two plates of cappelletti (there were 4 for each dish), €14 for two bottles of water and €6 for a cover charge.... Absurd!

08/07/2024: Eravamo stati in questo ristorante parecchi anni fa e la prima impressione che abbiamo avuto e che ci sia stato un cambio di gestione. Entrare nel locale (non pieno) e attendere una decina di minuti che qualcuno si avvicinasse a noi, già non ci è sembrato un buon auspicio. Sulla bellezza del locale nulla da dire: location unica con pavimento in vetro su antichi mosaici di epoca romana. Molto da dire invece sul servizio: due soli camerieri abbastanza impacciati, che fra una qualunque richiesta e l'accoglimento della stessa facevano passare minimo un quarto d'ora e spesso entravano palesemente in contrasto fra loro. Camerieri che addirittura bevevano quello che restava nelle bottiglie dei clienti che andavano via! Se non l'avessi visto con i miei occhi non ci avrei creduto! Il cibo è stato discreto, non eccellente ma comunque di buona fattura. Il proprietario non si è fatto vedere, è entrato solo una volta uno chef per presentare un piatto particolare. Un po' di presenza fra i clienti non sarebbe male, come accade in tanti altri locali, dove i proprietari sono molto attenti e garbati. Posso dire che purtroppo non siamo stati bene sia per l'atmosfera che per la confusione nel servizio. Anche il prezzo non è stato certo "amichevole", anche se era da aspettarselo visto il tipo di locale. O siamo stati sfortunati noi, o c'è davvero qualcosa da cambiare per poter portare avanti al meglio un locale di questa bellezza.

21/08/2024: Spartan place but really very nice: you set the table yourself and order, then you gradually collect what you ordered. The dishes are simple but tasty, the portions are generous and the prices are fair. I recommend arriving early (we were there for dinner and arrived at 7.10pm), to avoid waiting too long. €54 to eat a mixed starter, 2 first courses, 1 second course, 1 dessert, 1 water and 1 quarter of red wine.

20/08/2024: Excellent food to say the least! Don't be put off by the organization of the service because once you understand it it's very convenient... you arrive and take your "number" to order and pay at the cash register, while waiting for your turn you can choose a table and prepare it... and above all wait comfortably seated without having to queue standing as the number is called through screens... once this is done the orders are forwarded to the kitchens and in a short time the meals are ready! It's all really delicious and plentiful! We really had a great time! Thank you

02/09/2024: A beautiful farmhouse just a few minutes from Assisi. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and with an excellent view. The pool is small to accommodate tourists who visit the region in August, but having gone at the beginning of September there weren't many people. Regarding catering services: - dinner is good, with particular praise for the cheeses (of their own production); - breakfast unfortunately did not meet expectations, we went down early to have the opportunity to have the entire buffet available. In reality, almost everything was already finished, the buffet was not too rich, and the "refill" service of the dishes was very slow. Overall a great destination.

04/09/2024: I would like to come there with my parents in the future, and if I find a lover in the future, this is a place I would like to come with my future spouse. Since I was traveling alone, I was always nervous and eating alone was my daily routine, but I was grateful for the warm welcome. I packed dessert to eat alone at the hotel, but there was an outdoor performance on the way to the hotel, so I lost track of time while watching it and it all melted. Also, it was difficult for me to come to the restaurant alone and eat a variety of dishes, but a kind woman reduced the amount of food in half and helped me eat two dishes by myself. I also had some delicious gnocchi. I can't remember the name of one, but it was delicious. thank you

03/09/2024: I ate at this place in Assisi during my tourist trip. The dishes were very good, I particularly appreciated the dessert (rocciata), which was plentiful (which is not so common) and truly delicious. The restaurant overlooks the main square of the city and is furnished in such a way as to convey tranquility (in my opinion). Last notes on the service (professional) and the price (medium/high but overall reasonable).

05/08/2024: Central location near the cathedral. Tried it for dinner during the week (it was Wednesday) and I must say that my experience was negative. Table service not attentive and slow. I got an order wrong and the course (a first course) arrived late, inevitably forcing me to share the plate with the other person. Food quality good (earns a star) but I didn't like it.
