04/11/2025: Unfortunately, I don't eat fish and I was a bit disappointed by the limited choice I had. It's a nice place, but in my opinion, it's not suitable for groups. You can't converse decently if you're a couple. The quality of the food is excellent, but it's quite expensive.

22/10/2025: The place is very cute, but small, so reservations are practically mandatory. The dishes feature two local ingredients with fusion elements that are anything but crappy. The wine list is extensive and adequate, and the price is in line with the excellent selection. Definitely recommended!

14/10/2025: On Friday, October 10, 2025, we have a birthday celebration, and remembering a previous experience, I decided to recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is simple and elegant, with stone walls and beautiful paintings, some of which depict the city of Assisi itself. We were warmly welcomed upon entry and reluctantly decided not to dine on the wonderful terrace overlooking the square (unfortunately, it was a windy evening). Once seated, we were presented with a simple menu of traditional dishes, including the fillet steak with Sagrantino reduction and truffle, a truly commendable dish. The extensive wine list emphasizes local producers but also includes Italian and international wines, especially French sparkling wines. The impeccable and particularly fast service pleasantly surprised us. The price was excellent, in line with the location, menu, and service. The owner was friendly and told us a little anecdote about his "Amatriciana." Go try it!

26/09/2025: It's in an excellent location. At the foot of Assisi, yet in a quiet spot away from traffic. Family-run. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Quality breakfast and dinner. Beautiful rooms, excellent cleanliness. We'll definitely return.

Every dish is a welcome embrace: from the rich and flavorful first courses to the traditional second courses. The service is warm, attentive, and never intrusive—as if they've known you forever. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, without excess, with a touch of elegance that makes you feel instantly at ease. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic flavors, without frills, but with a lot of soul. I'll be back soon... and hungry!

03/11/2025: In response to the owner's counterarguments posted on The Fork, I'd like to clarify that we didn't reach an agreement with anyone; the quality of the food was simply terrible. The potato cake was bad, inedible, and nonsensical; the fries were old and stale, probably fried in stale oil; the ravioli were a mixture of radicchio-flavored cream with completely unrelated flavors. The icing on the cake was the complete mess, a sign of your unpreparedness and lack of professionalism. Instead of responding with innuendo and other such remarks, you'd do well to engage in some self-criticism and remedy the organization worthy of a village festival, with inedible dishes presented in an embarrassingly 1980s-style manner. Chaos is bearable, but the scarcity of the dishes offered is not. The bill was disproportionate. Feel free to reply here too... so I can tell you more. From the water tanks between the tables, to the stench of smoke inside the restaurant, to the fact that you employ kids who are completely unprepared for dining room service.... If you want, you can continue... Reorganize yourself instead of accusing your customers and do a little self-criticism. Presumption won't get you very far. Excellent, I see you understood correctly!!! Regarding the comments made about me, be careful of a serious lawsuit...you described yourself perfectly!!!!! Regarding the dishes you prepared, they came back unfinished and were nothing but delicious, and honestly, I felt ashamed for you to suggest certain dishes. Keep it up and persist in responding in this tone.... You will surely reap the rewards. Best regards

27/10/2025: I had dinner with a friend. The place is truly charming, with typical Assisi architecture. The staff was super friendly. Service was quick. We both had tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles and with truffles. It's a shame that both pastas lacked salt. Otherwise, everything was fine.

01/11/2025: We simply left because they told us there were no free seats. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She was insolent and annoyed by customers who actually wanted to spend money. There were free seats on the terrace and inside. They just didn't want to! So much for friendly catering.

27/08/2025: Located right in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Very beautiful, especially in the evening. Good food, excellent starters, but I wasn't entirely impressed with the platters, especially the quantity. Cheese was nonexistent. Overall, above average. For a simple dinner, it's more than adequate.

10/11/2025: Stopped in for lunch, intrigued by the reviews and photos. A unique and therefore interesting place. The dishes were very good (the lamb was 🔝, the best I've ever tasted) and the price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of the dishes. We confirm that they don't take reservations. I would gladly return. Recommended.
