16/04/2026: I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend. After leaving, we were thrilled with our food, considering it one of the best restaurants we've ever tried. Every dish is homemade, given their butcher shop. I highly recommend trying the cured meats—sausage, soppressata, and mortadella—superlative, fresh, and made with ingredients that taste like quality. A must-try dish is the crostini with corned tongue, salsa verde, and sun-dried tomato mayonnaise. Everything is homemade. They're large and juicy, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. We also had the tartare, seasoned to perfection—one of the best I've ever tasted. My girlfriend had the CBT pork fillet with mustard and honey and baked Mantua pumpkin. This is also a dish I highly recommend. To finish, try the tiramisu and vin santo, both of which are also excellent. We recommend everyone go there and try their fantastic cuisine.

We tried gnocchi alla rosticciana and ravioli mugellani al ragù, both well-seasoned with rich, flavorful sauces. The fresh pasta is a plus, and the dishes are quite generous. The appetizer of Tuscan crostini is also good, simple but in keeping with the restaurant's style. Overall, it's a very good place, ideal if you're looking for authentic Tuscan cuisine. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing.

Serving customers is certainly a test of patience, but being rude when taking orders and appearing annoyed by any requests/clarifications doesn't make for a pleasant experience overall. Fortunately, the other waiters were friendly.

08/03/2026: A quaint, family-run Osteria in Buggiano's main square. A welcoming atmosphere, delicious, refined, and carefully prepared traditional cuisine. The service is courteous, attentive, and fast. A special mention goes to the very clean and well-equipped restrooms. Prices are moderate. Definitely recommended!
