16/08/2026: We ate at this osteria on the recommendation of our innkeeper. What can I say? It was a fantastic experience and definitely worth repeating when we're in the area again. The quality/price ratio was very, very fair. The quality of the meat was excellent, as were the appetizers. A big hug especially to Daniele, who guided us, even though we were four young men from outside the area, in choosing the meat and appetizers. We'll definitely see you again! P.S. Daniele, you're incredibly professional!!! I hope you remember us.

16/08/2026: We had dinner last Thursday and had a great time! We were seated at a table for three, and throughout the evening, we were served by a very kind young man who made us feel welcomed and full, just like "at grandma's house!" We recommend the rib-eye steak and Florentine steak, both very generous and flavorful. To finish, an exclusive house amaro! We'll be back!

01/07/2026: I passed through Bolgheri and decided to stop here for lunch... excellent service, fast, and cheerful. Excellent dishes, I had pappardelle with game ragu and I have to say it was exceptional... excellent cured meats and, of course, the wine...

01/07/2026: The quality of the meat is unquestionable, leaving aside the various orders of Panzaniese meat that occasionally left something to be desired, but on the other hand they were very kind and did not charge me for the inconvenience, but in addition to the products the inconvenience also occurs in the service which at least in recent years leaves something to be desired for what you spend, and to be in the Michelin guide I repeat, on the other hand it is an excellent restaurant but they could do much better 💪🏼🫶🏼

26/08/2026: Beautiful village, great food, exorbitant prices... but the dish was good... 35 euros for an appetizer and a main course seems excessive, but the tagliata was fantastic.

26/08/2026: Nothing to say about the quality, but the portions were really very small. I'm referring to the dishes we ordered: wild boar stew....4 pieces and sliced...6 slices. It wasn't like this before.

12/08/2026: Truly beautiful atmosphere. The waiters were all very competent and kind, except for one young man who was probably just learning. He made several mistakes, such as continuing to refill a breastfeeding woman's glass even though we'd told him not to, so the contents had to be poured from her glass into mine. He brought my daughter the wrong dessert because he memorized the order, doubled the knives, etc., etc. However, we didn't complain because the other waiters were very good to us. The food was very good, perhaps a bit too linear in some dishes, but I would return.

06/08/2026: The restaurant is located in the typical local countryside. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I had dinner this evening before hospitalization tomorrow. The food was truly excellent. The owner was also very friendly. If you happen to be passing through, stop by because it's worth it. Congratulations!

12/07/2026: Enchanting place, impeccable service, extraordinary food, excellent wines. As soon as we arrived, we were dazzled by the splendor of the location, truly enchanting, not to mention the sunset that accentuated its splendor. The service was impeccable, with a delicate attention to guests (yes, guests, not customers—a distinction that is by no means a given) and a care rarely seen these days. Locally sourced products of exceptional quality and expertly served. The wine list was extraordinary, not to mention the wines from the estate's own cellar, which in my opinion are among the best in the area. It was a fantastic experience that we will soon be repeating again and again and again... Undoubtedly the best place to be pampered. A total of 10/10.

12/08/2026: The wine was good, however, the portions were very small. My wife ordered a meat dish, much of which was fatty. It was advertised as having "hot sauce," but in our opinion, it was an Algerian-style sauce like the kind you find in kebabs. Based on this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

12/08/2026: Rustic location with a beautiful view. The first courses were excellent, but the mixed wild boar appetizer didn't quite convince us (and perhaps wasn't worth the full €20). Reservations are recommended to enjoy the stunning view.

09/08/2026: Wow, what a gem of a place! My daughters were able to play undisturbed and we had a truly fantastic meal. The meat was of perfect quality and the lasagna perfect. Unfortunately, the tiramisu was sold out, but above all, what a lovely place with incredibly friendly service.

07/08/2026: Me and a friend of mine went to Il Vecchio Frantoio for dinner. We were very happy with the overall experience, especially the service. I ordered all my dishes with tartufo and it was so good! Very recommended!!

The food was good, using quality ingredients typical of the area, but with that extra touch that makes the dishes stand out. The waiter who served us was truly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming! Don't be fooled by other reviews or appearances!

16/08/2026: The atmosphere is very pleasant, in a beautiful square in the center of Bolgheri. We were warmly welcomed, although throughout the evening the service seemed a bit slow and uncoordinated. The food was good, although considering the prices, perhaps we expected a little more. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, with some room for improvement.
