31/08/2025: We went for dinner the first time and were recommended the Sakura beef. Excellent meat, perfectly aged and cooked thanks to Claudio. We dutifully returned to try a Chianina Florentine steak and the typical Tuscan soup. The soup was splendid and the perfectly cooked Chianina was fabulous. Compliments to Danny for the service and his politeness. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

24/08/2025: A quick stop for lunch on our way south. Welcoming place, friendly staff. The first course, classic cacio e pepe, was truly excellent.

14/09/2025: This wonderful family restaurant is nestled in the middle of an olive grove. The food is fantastic, and the wine selection is overwhelmingly extensive. The personalized service and attention are very pleasant. Everyone here goes the extra mile. We were there three times this week and will be back on our next vacation.

24/08/2025: A remarkable gem nestled among the peaks of Elba. We're about 200 meters above sea level, and you can choose between seafood pacchero or linguine with wild boar ragù. A must-visit if you're passing through.

23/08/2025: Excellent!! A lovely place. Even though we booked inside, they had indicated a table inside, upon our arrival they seated us on the terrace. The cuisine is authentic, very authentic. No frills, excellent ingredients, expertly prepared. We ordered - bread and oil (perhaps the bread could have been toasted for a tastier taste) - fish meatballs - pappardelle with wild boar - octopus, cheese and wine And two glasses of Elba red wine. Everything was superb! The staff were friendly without being pompous. We loved it!

08/09/2025: Quality and goodness: We dined here while in Risignano. The sunset view was phenomenal. The dishes, from the appetizer (a good portion given the quality of the ingredients), to the first courses (where instead of the mezze maniche we received a tube with mushrooms, a new experience), to the superior house wine, and the music selection, which was excellent for us. Very nice place.

02/09/2025: Excellent food, good selection of wines, including by the glass. Service was perhaps a little slow and imprecise, but perhaps it was just an unusual day. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. Suitable for those who want to eat well and perhaps also discover or rediscover traditional dishes. The first courses were excellent, and the fried dishes were perfect. The desserts were delicious and plentiful.

06/09/2025: My husband and I went for dinner, and we had a wonderful meal, but the staff, except for the gentleman who served us—the only middle-aged guy, so I mean the young guys—spent the entire time arguing among themselves in front of the customers at the entrance. They really gave the impression of not wanting to work; one was smoking, the other was commenting on the girls walking by. It was a terrible image for the place; if we hadn't already been seated, we never would have gone in!

05/09/2025: I was here for dinner, and the view and atmosphere are fantastic. There's a children's playground right next door, making it very family-friendly. We got a table spontaneously around 7 p.m. on a weekday without a reservation. The food is okay, although all my dishes were very fatty. It's good value for money. We had pasta, meat, and a vegetarian option. The staff is very friendly, but some tables weren't served for a long time (one group left before being served), and several items in our order were incorrect. If you'd rather enjoy the Mediterranean evening atmosphere of the start, you should go to a different restaurant.

07/09/2025: The place was a complete disappointment! Even though we were so looking forward to it. The eggplant served with the steak appeared to have been fried in fish-based fat. The portions were very small, and the food was far from freshly prepared.

19/07/2025: Purtroppo il menu è una lotteria: se peschi bene mangi bene, se peschi male... Abbiamo preso una guancia brasata che era molto gustosa e una tagliata di manzo che era gomma. L'aria condizionata non viene accesa nonostante ci si squagliasse e pure i camerieri grondassero sudore.

07/05/2025: The location helps this little town tavern a lot which presents itself as a trendy grill restaurant, a little outside the box...forget the fundamental rules of welcoming good food and settle for burnt meats, lukewarm wines and an environment bordering on filthy.....ah, yes...the steak is not native...I usually eat Ori and I know the difference!!

21/08/2025: We stopped in for lunch after a stroll around Bolgheri, and we had a great time. Excellent food in a wonderful atmosphere. There was a bit of a wait, admittedly... but we always have to be patient with those working on behalf of us tourists. Well done.

25/08/2025: 4 people, €256 (€64 each) for: 3 first courses: Two pasta dishes with pheasant ragù, which didn't even taste like pheasant An average pappardella with wild boar 2 second courses: A good tagliata An overcooked Florentine steak (requested rare - sold and paid for as 1.4kg, but the kitchen said it was 1.3kg) 2 grilled vegetables: €6 each for two pieces of zucchini, one of eggplant, and one of peppers 1 French fry 2 bottles of wine (good, not house) - €56 on the total bill 2 bitters, one full of lees that we had to have replaced (not offered - it's not mandatory, but €10 for two bitters is too much) Service absent: Parmesan cheese for the pasta was requested twice, wine had to be requested several times Overall below par; the overcooked Florentine steak was truly a crime. It's a shame because the location is beautiful but there is little attention to customer service and the food is not up to par.

24/08/2025: We had dinner here because it was recommended to us by friends. We had dinner at the restaurant with a charcuterie board, perhaps a little expensive for the selection and quantity, and a Maremma-style wild boar, if I remember correctly. My husband ate it and said it was delicious. A dessert and a good bottle of wine were also included. The place is very spacious and the service excellent.
