14/01/2026: Five of us went for dinner. I'd read reviews about the owner being a bit gruff, but we had a great time. He explained the origins of the meat and the animals' diet to us in a clear, unfussy manner. We had excellent appetizers, especially the amazing tartare and Colonnata lard, and two different types of steaks for five of us to share. The steaks were truly excellent, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The server was competent, serious, and polite, and always available. A few more smiles every now and then would have been nice. Unfortunately, since we had to drive, we didn't order any wine. The price was relatively high, but it was absolutely appropriate for the food and not more than we expected. Definitely recommended.

07/06/2025: Io sono trooooppo affezionato a questo posto. Ogni qualvolta mi trovo a Firenze è tappa fissa. Cibo autentico e buonissimo. Qualità prezzo top. Ma ciò che fa la differenza, lasciatemelo dire, è la gente che porta avanti questa splendida “bottega”. Massimiliano, gabry e tutta la squadra….Mio posto del cuore a Firenze.

05/05/2025: Allá Vecchia Bettola está fuera de la trampa turística en Florencia - vale la pena dejar el centro y salir aquí. Nos encantó todo y la oportunidad de visitar otras partes de Florencia. La comida es maravillosa - el servicio y el ambiente también. Si tuviéramos la oportunidad y nos quedamos más tiempo en la zona, sin duda habríamos vuelto para otra cena o almuerzo.

06/01/2026: We were greeted warmly. We arrived after lunch with two children, one aged 2 and one aged 5. They were about to close, but they seated us and treated us with kid gloves. The play area is excellent and beautiful; the kids had a blast, and my partner and I felt relaxed. The host, Mr. Sergio, was extraordinary, very attentive and thoughtful. The pappardelle with wild boar was also excellent. A restaurant and restaurateur like this is truly unique.

25/12/2025: A welcoming and simple place. The pasta is phenomenal, balanced and flavorful. The service is friendly and prompt.

16/11/2025: A decent bar, although it doesn't excel in anything. On other occasions, the service has been decidedly friendlier.

15/06/2025: Buena ubicación. servicio razonable. muy ruidoso. comida mediocre. tenía costillas de cerdo que eran posiblemente las peores que he comido. embutidos italianos estaban bien, pero nada más allá de lo que uno compraría en un supermercado. la t - hueso / fiorentina también era apenas mediocre y yo diría que es un insulto al nombre del plato Mejor prueba algo menos turístico

12/06/2025: La vista era la mejor que había tenido en un restaurante! Solicite una mesa junto a la ventana al hacer su reserva o llegue temprano, espere afuera junto a la puerta principal y luego corra y tome una mesa junto a la ventana. La comida era buena pero no excepcional. Lo que no me gustó fue que no pudimos elegir el tamaño de nuestra bistecca toscana. Nos enseñaron un trozo de carne y cuando le dije a la camarera que era demasiado grande para nosotros, ella dijo que era eso. Así que, por supuesto, era demasiado grande para nosotros y terminamos dejando un montón de carne muy cara en nuestros platos.

27/07/2025: La trattoria Sanesi è stata una bella esperienza culinaria. Abbiamo preso le pappardelle al cinghiale:sugo molto buono e papardelle artigianali; un buon piatto. Per secondo un misto griglia:piccione,rostinciana e groppa;la rostinciana solo per gola,buona ma niente di che il piccione e la groppa buonissimi la groppa saporita e tenerissima con il giusto grasso che la rendeva succulenta il piccione buono e ben cotto. Avevano una vasta varietà di dolci ma noi abbiamo preso i classici cantuccini con vin santo..un buon vinsanto e anche i cantuccini buoni. La cameriera è stata molto cortese,gentile e accogliente attenta ad ogni nostra necessità. Il locale nonostante fosse pieno di clienti ha una bella atmosfera dove non si avverte confusione. Il prezzo è stato giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato. I parcheggi non mancano tutti gratis nelle vicinanze. consigliatissimo. Per chi non è di Lastra a signa poi,essendo la trattoria proprio nel centro del paese, si può fare una bella passeggiata per visitare questo piccolo centro storico.

27/07/2025: Eravamo in 4 e abbiamo preso antipasto misto per tutti , 1 bistecca x 3 (1,500 Kg. circa), 1 filetto al pepe verde, funghi porcini di contorno, 2 dolci, vino della casa (tot. 185€). Il personale è cortese e il prezzo è nella media, niente da eccepire. Sinceramente però, da un locale blasonato come questo mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Cioè, ho mangiato una bistecca come molte altre, buona, ma niente di speciale. Bello il posto fuori che hanno sul retro.

04/01/2026: A typical Fire restaurant, always book in advance!! Traditional Tuscan dishes, well-cooked. The large number of people and the busy atmosphere can certainly make you forget something. The service, however, is impeccable. The atmosphere is full of details, but very busy. The portions are adequate, not large. The prices are mid- to high-end for Florence, in line with all the restaurants in the city center. A dessert will set you back €10 and up. I wouldn't call it a trattoria! A guarantee, though.

29/12/2025: I stayed at this property for one night at the end of December 2025. When I called, they told me they were closed but that they would give me the room anyway. Someone would be there to greet me and give me the room keys at my arrival time. That's what happened; I was given the keys and had to find the room myself because the girl had no idea what floor it was on. When I checked into my room at 6:30 PM, I immediately noticed that the two radiators were freezing. I called and was told that they were working during the day and would be turned on around 7:00 PM. I went out to dinner, and at 8:30 PM, the radiators were still cold. I left a message, which never received a response. The next morning, since I had the keys to the door and the exit shutter, I didn't know who to leave them with. I tried calling both numbers, but one was unavailable, and the other rang unanswered. So, I left a message. I never received a call back and no one ever responded to my message.

30/12/2025: This is the real deal. My friend and I enjoyed every single aspect of this restaurant, particularly the rabbit and grilled pork. The service was extremely friendly and we enjoyed meeting the owner and very talented chef. Tiramisu is not to be missed!!! Real Tuscan home cooking with fantastic flavors and lively atmosphere.

16/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena ieri sera in questo ristorante nel centro storico di Montemerano e devo dire che è stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole, sotto ogni punto di vista. La terrazza si affaccia direttamente sulla campagna toscana e regala una vista spettacolare, soprattutto al tramonto. Un’atmosfera che da sola varrebbe la visita. Abbiamo iniziato con degli antipasti davvero gustosi, preparati con ingredienti freschissimi. Ciaffagnone con pecorino e miele, panzanella al pomodoro, crostini toscani.. una vera delizia! I primi e i secondi non sono stati da meno: piatti ben pensati, con sapori autentici e porzioni giuste. E per finire, i dolci... Un grazie particolare al cameriere che ci ha seguiti per tutta la sera: gentile, attento e sempre pronto a dare ottimi consigli. Il conto è stato corretto e pienamente in linea con la qualità dell’esperienza. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una cena speciale, con cucina di qualità e una vista che lascia il segno.

17/06/2025: De hecho paramos aquí porque el restaurante al que queríamos ir no tenía mesas. Así que pasamos, decidimos parar. Jackpot. La carne con trufas era mejor que cualquier otra cosa que probé en toda Italia. Sí, viajé por toda Italia. Encuentre este restaurante y coma aquí. Excelente!

05/06/2025: Por suerte sin reserva logramos conseguir una mesa. El servicio era muy amable y la comida era excelente. Prometo volver.

01/01/2026: We booked a table for two and were seated in a small back room next to the bathroom, 10 cm away from the other tables. This meant we had to get up every time someone wanted to go to the bathroom. The food was average, nothing special. Rude service: after paying, we pointed out that the wine we'd been charged was different from the one we'd ordered (and more expensive); we were told in a completely rude and dismissive tone, "The price of the wine is the same, thank you." Not recommended.

31/01/2026: The price-quality ratio doesn't seem great, obviously in my opinion! Perhaps in the summer the veranda adds two stars to the atmosphere.
