14/05/2025: Friendly staff and good welcome. Room with attached bathroom spacious. The structure is dated, but well cared for. Really worth the breakfast. Stop by motorbike, I had difficulty finding parking. The assigned room had little light, the window overlooked an overhanging roof!! The nearby restaurant is good.

25/04/2025: Tutto appena discreto e qualcosa meno. Vale per i piatti che abbiamo mangiato e anche per il servizio. I servizi igienici sono molto puliti ma bisogna fare una rampa di scale per arrivarci.

09/06/2025: Stiamo stati a cena per due sere consecutive e abbiamo mangiato divinamente . L’atmosfera è spettacolare, sembra di essere immersi in contesto storico, circondati da pareti rocciose che raccontano di millenni. Ottimo il prodotto, impeccabile il servizio. Staff gentile, il proprietario una persona eccezionale. Eravamo di passaggio a Cortona ma credo che presto ritorneremo appositamente per ritornare a cena lì. La cena di per sé ha rappresentato un viaggio per noi! Grazie per la vs ospitalità

19/05/2025: Servicio hosco — camarero nunca volvió una vez para comprobar en nosotros. Mi chuleta de cerdo apenas podía cortarse con el cuchillo de carne; me preguntaba si el cuchillo estaba opaco. Mi amigo tenía el cacareado filete de vaca blanca que no se hizo por encargo y duro como los clavos. Este lugar no merece su gran reputación.

28/05/2025: I have come to this restaurant several times, especially with my mother because she loves it and has a great time even though she doesn't often like to eat out. The place is super welcoming, the food is delicious, the owner is really kind. Furthermore, the last time I came was for my birthday and when they understood that I was celebrating it they brought me a piece of cake with candles to blow out and gave me a bottle of wine, I will always remember this evening with great tenderness. thank you❤️

25/05/2025: Abbiamo prenotato 10 minuti prima di arrivare, c'era posto solo nel piccolo cortile, vista cucina; una cucina molto grande in proporzione al locale, con un tavolone centrale molto grande. Nel cestino del pane 3 tipi diversi e una focaccia integrale, tutti molto buoni, preceduti da un entrèe fatta da grissini artigianali con una delicatissima maionese e un bicchierino di buon vermouth (strana scelta). Un antipasto da dividere, con sformatini, polpette, crostini (molto buona l'aringa che è opzionale), tutto ben fatto, porzione media. Gnocchi all'ortica e ravioli veramente ben fatti, equilibrio dei sapori su ci spicca il protagonista (nel mio caso l'ortica). Trippa buonissima e stracotto direi eccellente, porzioni discrete. Servizio gentile e disinvolto, niente falsi sorrisi. L'impressione è che si lavori bene con un impegno quasi naturale, che rispecchia lo stile estetico del locale, rustico e raffinato, intimo e amichevole. Siccome mi pare tutto troppo liscio mi sa che, per il bene della ricerca, dovrò tornare per vedere se è stata solo fortuna, per forza!

24/05/2025: Locale incantevole seppur informale, che trasmette un sapore di autenticità, tra ricercatezza delle portate e genuinità dei prodotti. La cura dei dettagli e la tranquillità dell'ambiente bucolico lo rendono un luogo speciale per serate romantiche.

24/05/2025: We were on Friday 24th May for the first time in this very characteristic and intimate restaurant. To try the specialties of the menu we shared an appetizer of crostini with livers, a pappardella with wild boar and a Florentine steak with potatoes.... WHAT THE HECK AM I GOING TO TELL YOU!!!! Everything was delicious, not to mention the apple pie made by grandma! The owner Walter was super kind and super attentive to making sure our dinner was fine, Luca and Ilaria were courteous and smiling. They made us feel at home, we will definitely return with our little girl who is greedy for meat and if I have to make her eat well, it is right to return here!! TOP TOP TOP

03/06/2025: Jefe y rudo camarero jefe. Comida “turística” estúpida e insípida con opciones limitadas, no digna de la Toscana, pero a precios que rivalizan con la cocina toscana de primera clase.

16/06/2025: El lugar estaba limpio y ordenado. Los camareros estuvieron atentos. Me encantó escuchar que tenían un área de juegos para niños, que ocupaba a mis 2 pequeños. La comida tenía un sabor fantástico y el precio era aceptable. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar.

20/06/2025: Worst experience ever. Food came late and they mixed up which table had which course. One in our group had no food. Very understaffed, only the owner/lady and one server and when we explained how we did not receive our food they argued and claimed that they had made it but agreed that other tables received our food.

13/06/2025: Welcoming, clean and very pleasant environment. The owners are exquisite and very friendly people but at the same time professional and with a passion for good food. Taste and quality. The dishes served are a delight even for the most demanding palates but also enchant the eyes. Surprising in everything. I am not from the area but when I can I go there willingly. Do not hesitate to stop even if you are just passing through. You will not regret it!

22/05/2025: Last Saturday I had dinner at this wonderful restaurant with a group of friends, and the experience was fantastic! We were a group of 7-8 people and we enjoyed both the carefully prepared appetizers and the exceptional meat. The wine selection was excellent and the attention given to the customer was unmatched. One thing I particularly appreciated was the intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant offers an exclusive experience, where there is never chaos. Even if you come in a large group, the atmosphere remains calm and the staff is completely dedicated to you, making you feel special throughout the evening. The restaurateur was very helpful in answering all our curiosities and in recommending the best cuts of meat. I highly recommend this place to those looking for quality, courtesy and an authentic experience!

27/04/2025: Nourriture délicieuse tant sur le plan des solides que des liquides, cadre très agréable, musique de fond un peu forte ; au total , vaut le coup d autant plus que la carte des vins est on’e peut plus belle!!!

31/03/2025: Ho avuto la fortuna di poter cenare a Il Borro. Cibo molto buono, personale molto cortese, professionale e sorridente. Abbiamo gustato gustosi piatti accompagnati da un buon vino. Suggerirei però di inserire anche vini calabresi in quanto assenti dalla carta. Una sala gestita completamente “al femminile” rappresenta inoltre un ulteriore plus. Spero di poterci ritornare presto.
