25/02/2026: The atmosphere is beautiful and super welcoming, and the food is excellent: you can choose from a variety of dishes, and the menu is truly extensive. The background music makes everything more pleasant and even fun. The waitresses are very helpful and kind, welcoming us with great courtesy, and even the little dogs were a joy!! The prices are fair, and the location is perfect. We'll definitely be back, a well-deserved 5 stars!

24/02/2026: The food was good, and the background music was 5-star. Unfortunately, the presence of the dog, which was passed from the owner's hands to those of the waitress and then into the kitchen, is definitely something the restaurant could really do without. Furthermore, the prices are very high, and an incorrect item was included on the bill, which we only noticed later.

25/09/2025: A wonderful place nestled in the Tuscan hills. The restaurant was decorated with care and attention to detail. We felt welcomed and pampered. The service was excellent. We tried excellent dishes with appropriate wine pairings. Everything was perfect. Definitely worth repeating. The prices were in line with the amount consumed.

05/01/2026: Located in the heart of the historic center, yet conveniently located just a 3-minute walk away, with ample parking available free at night. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel has a terrace overlooking the main square, where breakfast is served during the season, available for an additional fee. For the price paid in December, it's a very good value. It's a shame that, after a perfect night's sleep, at 7:10 a.m., a loud ticking sound from a pump behind our room (number 4) interrupted the perfect silence.

29/12/2025: We stayed at this hotel for a short weekend in Florence, during our visit to the Uffizi Gallery, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained, with immaculately clean and welcoming spaces. The staff is extremely kind, polite, and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, with quality products and a variety that demonstrates the attention paid to guests: even the wasa were included, a detail that truly makes a difference for those who appreciate a more complete and healthy choice. The superior room we were assigned was very beautiful, tastefully decorated in a classic style with antique furniture. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. We also appreciated the selection of wines and personal care products; we, in particular, purchased two excellent bottles. In short, everything was excellent: comfort, service, quality, and customer care. A stay we recommend without hesitation.

07/03/2026: Family dinner, nice and welcoming place, booked through The Fork, well-cooked dishes but very small quantities for the price paid and also the The Fork discount was not applied unless requested.

01/03/2026: We booked through TheFork, 30% off for six people, for lunch. The food was excellent. The Florentine steak was cooked to perfection. The pasta lacked salt, but it was passable. The bill was a bit steep, but we're right in the center of Florence.

08/09/2025: The location is enchanting, the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, and the platter of local products from the Cerù salumificio is excellent. Definitely worth repeating.

02/09/2025: An oasis of peace with a stunning view of the sea and the plains in front of it! We were having a wonderful hike and unexpectedly stumbled upon this bar. The owner is Dutch, and the staff also came from there, speaking fluent English and Italian. It's ideal for a drink or a coffee during the hike and relaxing. The cook wasn't there in the afternoon, so we only had a Tuscan appetizer platter to satisfy our hunger. But it was absolutely fantastic!

02/03/2026: Even today this was one of most memorable 3 hour lunch we've ever had. Was a rainy day so perfect for enjoying the wonderful owners hospitality.

28/02/2026: I dined at this restaurant with my dog, as I usually do in many restaurants in Siena and other cities. The dog stayed by my side, on a leash. He barked a couple of times, but the restaurant was very noisy and noisy, so he didn't cause any significant disturbance. When paying, however, the owner emphasized that he had "done me a favor" by allowing entry, stating that the local health authority had ruled that dogs were absolutely not allowed on the premises and that, otherwise, fines would be imposed on both the restaurant owner and the owners. Aside from the legitimate business decisions, what left me perplexed was the way the issue was communicated and the assertion of a supposed absolute legal prohibition, which does not appear to exist in these terms. If you decide not to allow animals, it's a respectable choice, but I believe it's right to communicate this clearly and consistently, without presenting it as a "favor" or a general legal obligation.

23/09/2025: We went to the Tavern to do a tasting of the famous Brunello di Montalcino, a very traditional wine from the Tuscany region. The atmosphere and service were very good, but the food left something to be desired... but since that was our only option, we ended up eating it anyway, as we wouldn't do a wine tasting without at least putting some food in our stomachs.

01/03/2026: Beautiful place, unfortunately, expectations didn't match reality. 1. Wait times were excessively long 2. The much-vaunted roast was sold out 3. Ossobuco was nothing special, even tough 4. The peposo was not good 5. The steak was excellent, as were the potatoes and artichokes. 6. The quality/price ratio was exaggerated.

18/02/2026: A rustic trattoria offering a wide and varied selection of traditional dishes for a tasteful journey through home-style Tuscan cuisine. The owner is a real character, engaging and entertaining, explaining the dishes in a colorful manner with classic Tuscan flair, which blew us away. Excellent food, amazing flavors. What more can we say... EXCITING

01/01/2026: Food was OK but not hot enough. Seriously lacking green vegetables for some reason. Expensive and small portions. ‘Artisanal’ pannetone was dry, over priced and filled with lumps of chocolate which did not enhance it. Nice wine. Restaurant was cold as was the food. Not the best. Nice staff

13/11/2025: A small, welcoming place. The menu includes a few dishes, but they're all delicious, made with top-quality ingredients! We finished the meal with a dessert prepared by the local pastry shop, but it was so good I didn't have time to photograph it 😋

07/06/2025: Io sono trooooppo affezionato a questo posto. Ogni qualvolta mi trovo a Firenze è tappa fissa. Cibo autentico e buonissimo. Qualità prezzo top. Ma ciò che fa la differenza, lasciatemelo dire, è la gente che porta avanti questa splendida “bottega”. Massimiliano, gabry e tutta la squadra….Mio posto del cuore a Firenze.

05/05/2025: Allá Vecchia Bettola está fuera de la trampa turística en Florencia - vale la pena dejar el centro y salir aquí. Nos encantó todo y la oportunidad de visitar otras partes de Florencia. La comida es maravillosa - el servicio y el ambiente también. Si tuviéramos la oportunidad y nos quedamos más tiempo en la zona, sin duda habríamos vuelto para otra cena o almuerzo.

15/06/2025: Buena ubicación. servicio razonable. muy ruidoso. comida mediocre. tenía costillas de cerdo que eran posiblemente las peores que he comido. embutidos italianos estaban bien, pero nada más allá de lo que uno compraría en un supermercado. la t - hueso / fiorentina también era apenas mediocre y yo diría que es un insulto al nombre del plato Mejor prueba algo menos turístico

12/06/2025: La vista era la mejor que había tenido en un restaurante! Solicite una mesa junto a la ventana al hacer su reserva o llegue temprano, espere afuera junto a la puerta principal y luego corra y tome una mesa junto a la ventana. La comida era buena pero no excepcional. Lo que no me gustó fue que no pudimos elegir el tamaño de nuestra bistecca toscana. Nos enseñaron un trozo de carne y cuando le dije a la camarera que era demasiado grande para nosotros, ella dijo que era eso. Así que, por supuesto, era demasiado grande para nosotros y terminamos dejando un montón de carne muy cara en nuestros platos.

04/08/2025: Fuldstændig fantastisk mad! Noget af det bedste hjemmelavet pasta, vi har fået i Italien. Så skøn, afslappende stemning og fantastisk betjening. Selvom vi havde vores 1-årige med, var der plads og overskud til det. De havde desværre kun åbent til frokost i weekenden, ellers havde vi været der flere dage i ugen!

04/03/2026: The place was deserted for dinner on a Friday night at 9:00 PM, with only one waiter listening to videos loudly on his phone. The dishes arrived in about 2 minutes, still cold; perhaps the microwave wasn't working properly. Extremely negative experience.

27/02/2026: Terrible. Pappa al pomodoro, so to speak, sour and practically breadless. Ribollita with peppercorns. Boiled artichokes that you can easily make at home, let alone meatballs. The name is no guarantee. I repeat, a terrible experience.
