10/03/2026: We basically had "our bed in the kitchen." That took some getting used to. There are certainly alternatives in that lovely little town.

03/12/2025: Beautiful B&B! The location is simply perfect, in the heart of the city and close to everything. The rooftop terrace is incredible, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view. The rooms are tastefully decorated and truly welcoming. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. Without a doubt, the best place in town.

31/03/2026: Excellent dishes. The potato ravioli with wild boar ragù, the penne with sausage and cavolo nero pesto, and the braised beef with a Chianti reduction sauce are delicious. The tiramisu is good, but could be improved.

13/04/2026: I've been to this trattoria twice. The food is exceptional, authentic, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the prices are truly reasonable considering the quality and freshness. One of the few trattorias where you can savor the flavors of this region. Generous portions.

09/04/2026: It's a real trattoria, so the atmosphere is very simple. I ate the best tagliata of my life; I recommend everyone try it, perhaps splitting it because it's a bit of a chore...

17/11/2025: We went with friends for a birthday lunch. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, the cooking was perfect (honorable mention for the tagliata), and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!!!

02/05/2026: We had a wonderful day. The pappardelle with wild boar were excellent, as were the pici with wild boar and white meat sauce. The panna cotta was excellent, as was the passion fruit mousse. Mara was very kind and welcoming. Recommended.

26/03/2026: Dishes that are definitely not typical, commercial cheeses and cured meats and definitely not Tuscan, they brought the bill without even asking for it, practically as if to say go away, I wouldn't put it in typical Tuscan trattorias but in tourist trattorias

12/04/2026: All in all, a truly unique experience – steak cooked over an open fire in the fireplace, something I'd never experienced before. At first, I was skeptical, as I initially wanted to order something from the menu, but when I saw the steaks, I took the plunge and didn't regret my decision. The meat was so tender and flavorful – the best I've ever eaten.

22/03/2026: A truly terrible experience. We had lunch at Al Toscano today and the food was terrible. We ordered a 1.8 kg Galician rubia ribeye steak: it arrived cold, completely undercooked and cut too thin, a clear sign of poor meat management. It was initially served uncut, then returned, cut incorrectly, and even reheated over the grill because, according to them, it was still raw. The result was terrible. Not only that, but we had to send it back again to recook it, and even then the meat was still undercooked. Meat like that can't be cooked three times, especially not after it's already been cut. This is truly appalling management for a restaurant that bills itself as a meat specialty. We also ordered the baked pumpkin, which unfortunately was partially raw: unacceptable for such a simple dish. Another negative note: for a restaurant like this, with a limited meat selection, it's a serious lack of attention to detail. The oil served was of poor quality, nothing special or flavorful, and they didn't even have coarse salt available. After asking for it, they brought us a simple salt grinder, which we actually had to open to season the meat properly. To make matters worse, the restaurant only had two tables occupied on a Sunday lunch: perhaps they should ask themselves some questions. Considering the prices are anything but cheap, such quality is even more inexcusable. We brought this up at the end of the meal, but it remains one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a steakhouse. Truly disappointing.

28/04/2026: A beautiful location, surrounded by greenery, with large outdoor spaces, a children's playground, and a splendid pool. Good food and friendly staff. Rather high prices: we found it excessive to pay €35 for a simple pasta dish for the children (plus an error on the bill, with one child being charged extra). For adults, about €50 per person for shared appetizers, mixed grill, wine, dessert, and coffee. The decision to serve some dishes on sharing trays rather than individually plated is unconvincing. However, we appreciated the fact that children were not charged a cover charge. Overall, a beautiful location and good quality, but the value for money could be improved.

10/04/2026: This was surprisingly forgettable. Not awful or bad, just not memorable at all. Our waiter was probably 14 years old. Really. It was cute because it's a family run place. When I asked him for a Brunello recommendation, he had an answer with confidence, but that wine turned out to be pretty whimsy (no body) especially for a Brunello. He spilled it when he poured, and had the social skills of an eighth grader, naturally. Carpaccio was pretty good and quite generous. Bruschete was kind of bland. Margherita pizza was fair (by Italian standards). Pana Cotta was quite good. We appreciated very much that they had about a dozen wines sold by the glass. Prices were reasonable.

31/03/2026: Modern and functional pizzeria restaurant, best to book, friendly and fast staff, excellent and plentiful food, super pizza, average value for money.

30/03/2026: Today, March 31, 2026, I ate at this restaurant by chance, but if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be back! Friendly staff, excellent food, clean and convenient location, plenty of parking, even for heavy vehicles, quick turnaround times... great for business and leisure travelers alike! I RECOMMEND IT!

19/04/2026: Good and simple. I love tripe and lampredotto, though not everyone likes them, but there are other good things too. Nice terrace and a good location on the way to the countryside.

04/04/2026: The pizzas might have been good but the service was terrible, the waiters were all more unpleasant than the others, you didn't even have time to finish the last bite and they were right there to take your plate away, very rude, we will never go back, I strongly advise all the waiters to be a little nicer
