A quaint place! Lots of choice, friendly staff, and quick service. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent. We especially recommend the gnocchi with truffled Castelmagno cheese and the carne in galera (meat in jail). Highly recommended.

Of all the restaurants I visited during my stay in Italy, this was one of the best. The entrance was a little hard to find, as it looked like a private house, and it took a bit of courage to ring the doorbell! We ordered the Tasting Menu for two people. Everything was delicious, the portions were generous, and it was incredibly good value at €40 including dessert and the final coffee! If you don't know what to order, this is the only choice I would recommend. There was no table charge or service fee, and even water was only €2. Everything was wonderful. It's a fantastic restaurant that I would definitely like to visit again if I have the chance!

Excellent service, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. At the end of the meal, after paying, we were offered a final bottle of water along with our digestives. I asked for a whiskey and they placed a bottle of Laphroaig on the table. Not for everyone, I'd say. Highly recommend it and consider it one of the best places in Genoa.
