Mouth-watering Florentine cuisine! It's a regular stop for us because the quality of the dishes is unparalleled. The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Spending Easter here was the best choice: incredible dishes and a rejuvenating experience. If you're looking for the authentic taste of Florence, you've come to the right place!

03/06/2026: perfect dinner at a wonderful place
02/06/2026: Went for Dinner here twice in a 5 night stay locally because it was so nice). It is a very well run restaurant. One of the staff spoke perfect English which was great as not all dishes translate easily. The food was excellent, very tasty and well presented (Onion Soup, Tomato Soup, Mussel Soup, Dolce Soup Inglaises, Ravioli). Note 'soup' is not quite soup in english translation i.e. not as fluid. Soups was not what we expected but they were sooooooo good! Even better were the 2 local white wines we selected. Definately definately worth a visit x

30/05/2026: At Vecchio Frantoio, it's an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is well-kept, welcoming, and immersed in the typical atmosphere of Castagneto Carducci, with that perfect blend of Tuscan tradition and attention to detail. The service is impeccable: Luca is kind, smiling, and always ready to recommend the right dish without ever being intrusive. The cuisine is the restaurant's true strength: excellent ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and authentic flavors that reflect the local area. From fresh pasta to meat dishes, to homemade desserts, every course confirms the restaurant's quality. The wine selection is also excellent, with local labels that further enhance the gastronomic experience. In short: a restaurant where you eat very well, feel pampered, and always want to return. Highly recommended.
21/05/2026: Easter lunch... meatloaf as a second course is not suitable for me.
