30/12/2025: Stopped in for lunch by chance. Excellent and plentiful appetizers with delicious first courses...perhaps a little sparse...but I'm a big fan. The value for money exceeded expectations. The place has only a few tables, but it's clean and discreet. The owners are kind and professional.

18/01/2026: Excellent experience. We loved everything about it, from the venue to the food, and the service. The atmosphere is typical of a tavern, as it should be. The wine selection is beautiful and vast; we didn't try the spirits, but we noticed a few very good bottles. There were four of us and we wanted to try everything: mixed appetizers, typical Maremma first courses (the tagliolini with truffle and venison prague were exquisite), Florentine steak for the main course, side dishes, and desserts. Everything was perfect, the price was in line with the quantity and quality of the food. I absolutely recommend it ;)

14/12/2025: Excellent food and super friendly and kind owners. We ordered two appetisers and we liked the one with herring & fried chestnut so much! According to the owner, it’s the recipe passed down from his grand parent. So good! Pici and pasta with wild boar sauce were also superb! The desserts, especially Tiramisu, is a must-try!!! 素晴らしい‼️

He effortlessly recounts his 20 years of experience as a cruise ship sommelier, and everything immediately makes sense: as soon as you enter, on the left, a wall of bottles tells his story better than any business card. Here, wine isn't an afterthought, it's identity. The cuisine is founded on a rare principle: absolute respect for the raw materials. Simple, clean, seasonal ingredients, crafted with technique and sensitivity. No forcing, no pretense. Each dish is balanced in its contrasts, temperatures, and textures. The result is cuisine that doesn't shout, but convinces. You can sense the care behind every preparation: correct cuts, precise cooking, balanced acidity, never-overpowering flavor, visual and flavorful harmony. It's proof that true haute cuisine requires expertise, not excess. The service, thanks to Upi, is a real added value: sincere kindness, constant but never intrusive attention, a rare ability to make you feel like a guest and not a customer. Upi doesn't just serve dishes: it serves serenity. Chef Giovanna, absent that evening, was nevertheless present in every detail. The team wanted to honor her work by maintaining consistency, rigor, and culinary identity. This is the sign of a structured, not improvised, cuisine. And then the welcome, which deserves a separate rating: Welcome: 10/10. Even a dessert to go, a gesture that today is almost revolutionary in its simplicity. 02/01/2026: I chose to dine at this restaurant for the first time in January 2023, just before they closed for the winter season. I've since returned at least twice over the next three years. A sensational culinary journey, with an excellent wine list, absolutely worth a visit at least once in your life.

Dinner for four with an appetizer, two excellent first courses for the girls, a Florentine steak for us, three desserts, two glasses of Brunello and one of Montalcino red, for about €160. The price is fair for the quality of the food and the service. The atmosphere isn't the best; I'd improve the decor.
