19/06/2025: We were very full after the tasting menu, 6 courses, but food was fabulous and wine pairings were good.

07/06/2025: This is a really fantastic restaurant and the staff are wonderful. We had the tasting menu and the 3 glasses of wine to pair. The food was some of the best we ate in Italy and the experience was fab. It is the right mix of formal dining and relaxed atmosphere. The food and service were excellent. I would return to Palermo just to go to this restaurant! If you consider doing the 8 course tasting menu book no later than 8.30 it takes a while!

25/05/2025: É già la seconda volta che andiamo a cena in questo ristorante e devo dire veramente ottimo; chef Filippo molto bravo, piatti ben curati e buonissimi; bel locale e a tutti molto professionali e gentili e penso torneremo prestissimo.

02/05/2025: Muy pocos clientes la noche que fuimos (espero que por lo general sea mejor frecuentado). Tuvimos el tartar de ternera con salsa inspirada en el tonnato. Morir por eso. El mejor plato que probé en toda la semana. Como principal tenía un trozo de atún fresco, cebolla roja y un poco de patata que era el especial del día. Decente pero nada especial. Buen y sabroso vino de catarata. Un plus que se podía ver al chef trabajando a través de una ventana. Personal amable.

30/06/2025: Wow ! Just WOW! Our first night in Palermo after travelling throughout Sicily. We literally stumbled on this restaurant away from the tourist beat. The rating was high and that helped. Marcella , her sister and her niece looked after us with the warmth of dearest family ! We were greeted with an unexpected gift of a glass of the most beautiful spritz. Like nectar. The food was perfectly cooked ! To perfection. ! My wife and I shared a busiata pasta with botarga and clams. ( I took the photo after I deshelled the clams - My Bad ). Followed this up with a perfectly cooked beef steak ! Melted in the mouth and was accompanied by the sweetest cherry tomatoes. For dessert my wife chose the apple and pear crumble ! Outstanding meal ! Best service and best people.

26/06/2025: A place that has it all. The food is delicious, everything you order is delicious. The service is very good, they are friendly, and they welcome you with a welcome cocktail. It's in a quiet place where you can enjoy your meal without rushing or shouting. I highly recommend it. If you come to Palermo, don't hesitate to come here.

Dinner was excellent: the raw fish appetizer is in the top ten of the best I have ever eaten. The seared tuna is also very good. Highly recommended for those who are in Palermo

26/05/2025: Se cercate una vera trattoria palermitana, dove i sapori sono quelli genuini di una volta e l’accoglienza è calorosa come solo al Sud sanno fare, questo è il posto giusto. Ogni piatto racconta la tradizione. Porzioni generose e ingredienti freschissimi, cucinati con amore — proprio come farebbe una mamma. Lo staff è gentilissimo, sempre sorridente e pronto a consigliare con passione i piatti del giorno. Un’esperienza autentica, che lascia il cuore pieno e la pancia felice. Torneremo sicuramente !!!

Father and son owners of the restaurant are exquisite people, starting from the telephone reservation to following you in the choice of dishes and wines, describing in detail the origin and composition of the recipes. A nice discovery. Excellent value for money. Next time we are in Palermo, we will not fail to come and visit you. Greetings from Bari.

05/06/2025: Ho cenato 2 mercoledì fa in questa tradizionale trattoria, e la consiglio per la qualità nella semplicità dei piatti proposti. Le pietanze sono perlopiù quelle tipiche della cucina palermitana, le porzioni sono giuste e il personale è davvero gentile. Il nome del ristorante ricorda una realtà terribile del passato vissuta dagli abitanti della zona fino agli anni sessanta, quindi oggi per fortuna completamente conclusa, e questa trattoria invece simboleggia qualcosa di positivo per la zona nel presente e nel futuro.

02/06/2025: da sempre una certezza. Mai sorprese negative in decine di anni di frequenza. Persone serie che basano il loro lavoro sulla qualità dei prodotti di base e su una cucina che propone il meglio della tradizione palermitana. Anche il rapporto costo/qualità resta sempre in linea con quello che è normale attendersi.

02/06/2025: Not bad for a first time. Nice and welcoming location. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food regarding pizzas really good. Especially the dough and the fresh and quality toppings. Only flaw. We had booked a table outside. And it had been confirmed by them. We get there and they put us inside. We ask and they tell us that it is not possible outside. Without giving any explanations. Outside everything was free, empty tables. And the weather permitted. We do not know why.... All in all a nice evening and quality food. The villa itself is very beautiful! Especially the tables outside.

29/05/2025: Last year We chose this place for our daughter's communion, on the advice of friends. What can I say: exceptional!! Food worthy of 10 and praise!! I would highly recommend it! Obviously we returned other times to try the pizzas, also very good. Well done, keep it up

03/06/2025: Truly amazing experience! Absolutely delicious seafood ! Everything tasted great and presented beautifully! My first ever experience of trying amberjack fish and it was cooked to perfection . Nice wine . Place was packed with people . Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals . Luckily we managed to sit outside, so please book in advance.

07/05/2025: The starter was excellent (caponata). The second swordfish was a little overworked. Instead of bread they brought us a kind of pizza made by them. The times are rather quick and in any case no one asks you to get up if you stay and talk to the diners. Overall very satisfied.
