Wide and refined selection of local wines without being pretentious. An excellent choice for a refined but tasteful dinner.

03/02/2025: Estuvimos en Palermo dos meses y fuimos a Sapori Perduti tres veces, la primera para la cena de Navidad y la tercera como nuestra cena de despedida a la ciudad. El restaurante es maravilloso. Íntimo y cálido, excelente cocina, y un personal maravilloso. Paolo el propietario es amable y encantador. Nuestro restaurante favorito en Palermo y bien vale la pena comer allí, múltiples veces si es posible.

29/12/2024: A very heart-felt meal within the most local and authentic atmostphere for slow food. The menu ingredients vary according to the season. As we were sat down at the table they brought us a small glass of spritz and bread (as complimentary). We were 2 and shared the appertizer of mixed speck, cream cheese, lots of seasonal veggie, pear cuts and walnuts. Then each took a main dish, one ravioli with shrimp and one pasta with squid and tomato sauce, which means we left the restaurant with a full happy belly cuz the food was great. Definitely would come back again when I have the chance to. Please be mindful that like all other restaurants in Italy, there is a dine-in charge (coperto) per person. Thanks for the good food.

02/12/2024: We had the best food in Palermo in Ferro. This is a small little restaurant with excellent food options. The taste is very unique that we never tasted before. If you’re sick of the boring tourist food, this is a great place.

25/01/2025: I returned to this place after having already been there once when I was in Palermo. Very clean environment, all the people (from Mr. Giovanni who I believe is the owner to Carmelo and also other guys) friendly and approachable I relied on Caemelo, and ate: smoked meats with the flavor of Sicily (sword salmon with delicious cherry tomatoes, orange and lemon), excellent scialatielli with swordfish and to conclude a semifreddo with chocolate and almonds, all with passito from Pantelleria An excellent dinner and I thank Carmelo for giving me good advice and for the service

03/01/2025: The food was great. We ordered veal with radicchio and mushrooms (perfectly medium rare), some pasta, grilled octopus, fried cheese with anchovy cream, pasta stuffed with veal, pasta with ricotta, every dessert on the menu. I loved everything (we tasted each other’s food). The place is run by three brother, one of which is the chef and one works on the floor. The service was impeccable and so was the homemade bread. Did I mention that Sicilian cassata was awesome? I only took a photo of Sicilian cheesecake with strawberry sauce, because was too busy enjoying food.

29/01/2025: It's rare to eat and drink well in Palermo... my review comes from yet another positive experience at Trattoria Corona. Apart from the always present dishes (in love with their spaghetti with clams), they know how to offer simple and good seasonal combinations, without that excessive search for other places which ends up in nothing... so if the owner Giovanni tells you that you have to try a dish trust me... the busiate cabbages and mussels for example! And great guide in choosing Orazio wine. Kind and friendly staff, welcoming environment. Unmissable in Palermo

04/02/2025: Wide variety of pizzas that differ not only in the wide choice of ingredients, but also in the type of dough. In this pizzeria you can enjoy contemporary pizza, pan-style pizza and also the typical very thin Roman pizza. The place is not very large but there are many tables in the room and on Saturdays the feeling of chaos is felt. The pizzas are excellent both for the quality of the dough and the quality of the ingredients. The "Roman" pizza I chose, I would have liked it to have been crunchier. Service present but not intrusive. Desserts good too.

01/02/2025: Delicious! Go there with your eyes closed. This family trattoria frequented by both locals and tourists is incredible. I had the squid ink pasta. Octopus with tomato and citrus sorbet. Everything was perfect. And very well presented. My friend from Catania also enjoyed it. Thanks again. (The little extra, menu in Italian, French and English)

14/11/2024: The restaurant is very nice. We were on a Monday and unfortunately we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the specialties, but we got a short menu with 5 dishes. Each portion was very small, cold portions and not particularly tasty. An account scribbled on a piece of paper and without logic.

01/02/2025: Conosciamo bene il vostro locale, ragione per cui ci siamo recati da voi per festeggiare un evento di famiglia. Che dire? Nemmeno la lode vi farebbe giustizia! Adoro l’atmosfera che si respira presso il vostro locale: ambiente sereno, sofisticato e sobrio, con una vista mozzafiato sul Castello Utveggio e su Palermo, con uno scorcio su Monreale. L’ideale per una serata romantica o per festeggiare un evento piacevole, come anche di ritrovo tra amici. Il servizio é stato impeccabile, grazie al personale ben educato e formato. Le pizze sono state servite nel giro di niente o quasi ed erano squisite! Avanti così! I miei complimenti!

01/02/2025: We are now veterans of this magnificent place located at the foot of Monte Pellegrino with its welcoming atmosphere. Every dinner is an experience made of genuine flavors and tastes, the pizzas have refined flavors with a selection of desserts different from other places, the staff is very courteous and professional. All accompanied by the kindness of Marco who greets the guests making dinner a convivial moment, it's like being at home.

15/02/2025: I have never eaten such well-cooked fish in my life. Very fresh, delicious. Refined and balanced flavors, we literally painted our mustaches. The seafood salad is something special, the pasta is spectacular. It was a wonderful discovery, compliments to the chef and his staff.

11/02/2025: Excellent food, I would give a full 10, certainly the tuna tartare starters, fried prawns, cod suchimi...truly exceptional, we were all satisfied...as were the first courses, both the tortelloni with wild boar ragù, the tagliatelle with prawns and the lobster pasta...truly refined More than sufficient portions and fantastic aromas...as for the dessert we only tasted the cannoli, which was also good but not exceptional. We will definitely return next time.

03/02/2025: So what can I say, I was in Mondello for work!! Having very little time for my lunch break I was undecided between a sandwich or a simple plate of pasta!!! I stopped by Bottega Badalamenti and I chose a first course with fresh tagliatelle and a sauce with excellent and plentiful wild boar meat. I will definitely return with my family.
