01/04/2024: I’m always trying to be balanced on my ratings and when I use the 5 stars it means that it cannot be better from my standpoint….. and this one cannot be better from mine or ANY STANDPOINT!!! MICHELIN GUIDE, where on god’s green earth are you???!?!? Let me just say that from the appetizers to the bread, dishes, and desserts it was a joy for the palate and ALL WAS DONE IN-HOUSE…. And ALL WAS DONE BY THE CHEF ALONE!!!!!! And ALL WAS CLOSE TO 1 star Michelin so I’m asking again, where are you Michelin when such genius of a chef exists!!!! I’ve never seen anything remotely like that in my life…. How can one be a chef, a baker and a pastry chef at the same time and be at least excellent on each count?! That was honestly mind boggling and if you ever step foot in Palermo and proud yourself as having a palate, then you HAVE to go there!!!! Starting with you Michelin inspectors!!!!!!

28/03/2024: We had a great evening at A‘Cuncuma. The tasting menu was easily adapted to allergy needs and an exiting experience. Very friendly service by the sommelier. She proposed a very affordable but very well fitting wine to accompany the menu. The chef, who came to the table, did a great job. We will be back when coming to Palermo.

04/04/2024: It is ideal if you want to eat in a soberly elegant environment, with punctual and efficient but not pressured service. Excellent a la carte dishes, varied choice, just enough to ensure quality and taste.

22/04/2024: This restaurant was the icing on the cake of my perfect little vacation in this beautiful city. Friendly, professional, smiling and capable staff. Welcoming and particularly well-kept environment. From the furnishings to the music on offer. And then there's the food. Dishes conceived, studied and heartfelt. (One above all the crunchy cannoli with tuna tartare.) Tasty, never banal and perfectly cooked. Excellent raw materials. The quality/price ratio is right. Highly recommended. Congratulations to the entire Sapori Perduti team. See you soon.

07/05/2024: Wow. Foods are absolutely amazing. One of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Seafood platter is very fresh and good. Staffs are friendly, professional and sweet. Love their cute, quiet and bright ambience.

23/04/2024: The experience was worth every penny. From the first moment you enter SESTO CANTO, you feel welcome. Sesto Canto unquestionably is THE BEST RESTAURANT IN PALERMO we visited . The food was outstanding, delicious, and beautifully served. The waiter did a fantastic job serving us. The restaurant inside looks beautiful with lots of black and white big photos/posters of American Jazz musicians, and you hear jazz in the background. To sum it up, it definitely was a big pleasure for us to dine at SESTO CANTO and I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

12/03/2024: Sono tornato dopo qualche tempo in questo ristorante ubicato in un antico palazzo del centro di Palermo e confermo l'ottimo giudizio espresso in passato. Il locale è molto bello, con parti delle antiche mura a vista. Il personale gentilissimo e attento. I piatti saporiti e ottimamente presentati. Insomma, uno dei migliori ristoranti della città. Prezzo adeguato.

05/04/2024: Raw seafood platter is great. Red prawns were best we had in Sicily. Squid ink pasta very nice Grilled seafood pasta was cooked perfectly Boiled fish was good Best meal we had during our 1 week trip in Sicily Make sure to book in advance. Dinner was completely booked out, so had to book for lunch the next day. Lunch was also packed

03/04/2024: We had a good time: both the raw and the two first courses were good, with a slight preference for the busiata with pesto and prawns. Well-kept location, attentive but not intrusive service, friendly owner. If I had to make a note, I would have liked a little more choice in the raw mix, also considering the final price.

11/05/2024: Tourists in Palermo we had dinner at this place which, according to the reviews, offers one of the best pizzas in the city. We arrived much earlier than standard dinner times and had the whole place to ourselves with a very comfortable table with a corner sofa. The environment is refined for a pizzeria.. With mirrors everywhere, wooden furniture and tables in a very beautiful lacquered black, soft light and a beautiful chandelier in a very chic modern style. The service was kind and attentive with starters and pizzas that arrived very quickly. The only thing about the place that I didn't like was that it inevitably filled up and confusion took over...You can't do otherwise if you put so many tables and people come and then stick together. In terms of eating, nothing to say... Obviously all the pizzas on the menu would have been worth trying given the wide choice!! The soft dough, the alveolation was clearly visible and the seasoning was really excellent with even extravagant combinations!! We will take away a wonderful memory, thank you!

10/05/2024: EXCELLENT pizza, the place is magnificent and the staff is qualified and attentive like few others. (frozen croquettes are better not)

14/05/2024: I haven't had such good mussel soup in a long time! Quality food and welcoming, helpful service.

13/05/2024: Fish spada grilled and palermitana. Everything was excellent, dishes that seemed simple but with very good seasonings, magnificent olive oil. The portions are generous and the service very friendly!

24/03/2024: We were a party of 5 that visited Palermo for 4 days and really love to eat good. This was definitely our favourite. Very professional and welcoming staff (with father and son as the maitre en sommelier). The specials of the day were amazing en incredibly fresh. Must do when in Palermo. 06/04/2024: Trattoria where you can enjoy not only excellent food (sublime tuna ammutticatu) but also the atmosphere of places of the past. An obligatory stop if you are passing through Palermo.

31/03/2024: We arrived at this restaurant after consulting "osterie d'italia" and I must say that this time too they got it right. Friendly staff, they found us a table even though it was almost full. Good food and family atmosphere. Recommended 👍

16/03/2024: Absolutely spectacular. The food was creative in all the right ways and the service was perfectly attentive but not overbearing. Pietro was fantastic! Just what we were looking for to try some regional specialties. Definitely recommend the tasting menu - seasonal and delicious. We thought the fish course was a tad overcooked but still delicious in its zebra preparation. Make sure to try the chef’s homemade limoncello with your dessert.

11/02/2024: Found by chance while walking through the streets of the historic center of Palermo. Highly recommended, a menu that offers dishes based on typical local raw materials that are well presented and enhanced. To give added value, the kindness and courtesy of the owners. Try it!

05/04/2024: Wow, my last restaurant visit in Sicily and the best so far. If you don't come to eat here, you haven't been to Sicily. The food was very delicious, the service was very attentive, the atmosphere was very appealing and the patron had everything in view. I'll be back on my next trip to Sicily. A very clear recommendation!!!
