15/01/2026: We stayed for 2 nights; the place is gorgeous with a breathtaking view. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, at night, the guests in the neighboring rooms were incredibly noisy. We only ate one evening at the restaurant; the menu has limited choices... The dishes, however, were delicious. The price certainly wasn't the cheapest... For breakfast, however, the waiter was really kind and patient.

01/02/2026: We went for lunch yesterday and had a wonderful meal. The cuisine was meticulously prepared, with authentic flavors and generous portions, all truly excellent in a welcoming atmosphere. A question to the owners, however, comes naturally: Why the name "Osteria dal Panda"? I'm so curious! 😅 Congratulations, we'll definitely be back.

10/01/2026: We had a family lunch with 9 of us... today, January 10, 2026... what can I say!!! Everything was really good and fresh! Generous portions, but above all, GOOD!!! We chose the fixed-price tasting menu for €35 per person. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'll definitely be back to try your delicacies 😊

14/02/2026: I went to Trattoria Vico Proietti for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend. They welcomed us immediately, opening the door and seating us, giving us the opportunity to choose the table we liked best. A rich selection of both fish and meat appetizers, both of which piqued our curiosity... taste, flavor, and tradition in every dish. Having arrived from Palermo, I must say I was truly satisfied with the quality and the product, worth the miles traveled. The wine, recommended by the manager, a knowledgeable and truly friendly person, was perfect and made the moment even more special. The homemade dessert was excellent. I'm not one to leave casual reviews, but here it deserves to be said: I would return for dinner tonight. 5/5 without hesitation.

07/02/2026: Great restaurant with a beautiful courtyard (especially in warmer weather). The antipasti are highly recommended (perfect for sharing). The primi and secondi are excellent. Great wines. Reservations are recommended, especially on Saturdays.

03/02/2026: Delicious, home-cooked, and Sicilian. The line of locals during lunch hours is the best recommendation – you'll eat deliciously and inexpensively here. Warning! Don't expect restaurant service; sit where there's room (long tables that seat at least 8-10 people), order the "daily menu" for €12 – a choice of two appetizers, two first courses, and two second courses every day, so insanely delicious that you won't be picky, but will have to find room in your stomach to eat it all. Serve with the house wine, which, as always in Italy, is good and cheap. I definitely recommend it.

08/11/2025: I am super dissatisfied. They have a menu on the internet, we choose our food and make a reservation. After which we go to the place and find out that the menu is completely different dishes from one plate. Pretty poor. I do not recommend. We paid for our water and went to another restaurant. This is the first time something like this has happened to me in Sicily.

15/12/2025: I tried a lot of restaurants in Sicili with my girlfriend. This is by far the absolute best without a doubt. I cannot fathom how anyone would rate them less than five stars. You would have to be born without a tongue to rate them less than five stars. Best pasta I ever ate. Period. The service was absolutely amazing. They brought everything we needed, the second we needed. The antipasti was served immediately. The prices were completely acceptable, much cheaper than many other restaurants that do not even compare in the same league as them. Can't go wrong with this restaurant. If you are in Sicilia, go here. You will not regret it!

14/09/2025: Everything was good, the service was fast, the location was very nice, authentic, they didn't rip you off, and the food was good. Not the easiest to get to if you don't know Macchia.

12/09/2025: The panoramic view of the Ionian coast, the terrace for summer evenings with live music, and the spacious interior make this place ideal for friends and family. The restaurant is ideal for events or simply for an evening with friends. My group and I, when we're looking for a cool evening and great food, this is the first place we think of. Dario, his wife, and all the staff make you feel at ease. See you next time!!

03/03/2026: We stopped in on the evening of a tiring day of traveling. My friend recommended it. He had been here for 10 years. Impeccable service, perfect food, sophisticated decor, wide and quality wine selection. This is such a perfect day. Today we only ate good food and in good places. But the crown was placed here. We left smiling and satisfied. Five stars. We will be back tomorrow.

26/01/2026: My Catanian companion took me to this historic restaurant, which I must say more than lived up to expectations. The fish was wonderful and the wine excellent. The desserts were a welcome treat at the end of the meal. The price was absolutely in line with the quality and not too high. I don't think much is needed; I've attached photos that are self-explanatory.

01/01/2026: We came for New Year's Eve lunch. Everything was excellent, and the staff were very kind. There were changing tables and high chairs for children. We just didn't appreciate the small portions. At least for the first course (which was two entrees), we would have appreciated a slightly larger portion. We also ordered a cutlet for the kids... and we weren't expecting it to be the modest sum of €15 (since we weren't given a menu to choose from). Only the cutlet. Aside from those two things, everything was perfect, and we'll be back to try the pizza.

19/12/2025: We went with friends for pizza, which was delicious. The only flaw is the acoustics: we went early, and we were able to converse until the place filled up, but then we had to shout because of the unbearable noise.

08/01/2026: Dear restaurant manager, I sincerely congratulate you! I'll briefly explain the situation. Reservations were made by phone before Christmas around December 20, 2025, for a reservation for January 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM. There were 8 people, two 2-year-old children, and a newborn. We called back on January 5, 2026, to reconfirm everything. Today, January 6, 2026, we entered the restaurant, providing the surname. They told me that there was no reservation for that surname. Your dear employees, in particular, one who was quite elderly, even allowed himself to speak in a low voice to another colleague, using some rather harsh words. This is a situation that deserves great professionalism. We were left outside in the rain, which was quite heavy, with a newborn...! I wanted to remind you, dear sir or madam, that even if the food in your restaurant is good, first and foremost, it requires professionalism, which you don't have!

15/03/2026: I went to lunch at La Polena restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food wasn't particularly well-crafted, and the menu selection was rather limited. Considering the price, I definitely expected better quality and attention to detail in the dishes. It's a real shame, because the staff was very kind and helpful throughout the service, which was certainly the highlight of the experience. I hope the restaurant can improve its offerings and the attention to detail in its dishes, because so far, the value for money hasn't lived up to expectations.

24/02/2026: We had lunch at La Polena based on a recommendation we received upon arrival, and it turned out to be a perfect choice. From the moment you arrive, you sense the attention and care they give, with small, much-appreciated gifts that kick off the experience in the best possible way. Fresh seafood dishes, beautifully balanced and cooked with authentic, well-presented flavors. Impeccable, courteous service, always available to explain every offering. Stunning views of the Aci Trezza sea, a relaxing atmosphere, and excellent value. A place definitely worth a visit!
