I love everything about this place; from the wonderful location to the excellent typical Sicilian cuisine, from the courtesy of the owners to the professionalism of the staff. For me, it is a little corner of paradise at the foot of Etna.

22/12/2024: My boyfriend and I were there in September, very nice and quiet environment, we were very happy because I can't eat lactose and gluten and they are very well prepared in this, I was able to eat everything from the starter to the main courses, it's a shame that we were so full that we were unable to taste the desserts. The service is very attentive to customer needs. Definitely coming back

13/02/2025: Let me start by saying it's a crazy place I've been going to for years. Maybe one of my favourites. Mha there is a Mha as much as a house. I'll start by saying that the cutlet and fries were thought to be classic, but they weren't, for a 2 year old girl they paid 18 euros, as if it were a Michelin star!!!! Oh well, I'll skip the cover charge of 3 euros per person including my daughter, still a 2 year old girl. To complete, a birthday cake was brought, for which I also paid 6 euros for the service, something that has never happened to me" I can assure you that I have been around restaurants all over the world and to pay 6 euros for a cut in a restaurant I am shocked. But oh well, even this overflight." Obviously I won't mention anything else because I don't even care to do so due to the little importance I give it. For the rest, disappointed by the fact of having paid 173 euros of which I still wonder what I ate? With these prices I add another 100 euros and I'm definitely going to eat delicious fish in various excellent restaurants in Catania. Overall disappointed, I would have preferred a slightly different treatment. That's fine. However, the fact remains that the food is excellent and nothing can be said there, after all I only eat in places where the quality is there but the rest isn't. I'm not one to come back especially because I value money.

01/02/2025: The food was good, especially the first and second courses. But it's a supermarket appetizer. This could also be accepted, but not after receiving the bill. Inconceivable, luxury restaurant price. And thank goodness we weren't influenced to order more. It bothered me that he took our orders, he almost thought we were poor because they divided a starter, a first course and a second course. Bad hand otherwise it would take a ten. 😅

05/02/2025: In occasione delle festività di sant'agata ho mangiato in questa trattoria. Eravamo in due abbiamo mangiato sia carne che pesce posso solo dire che ci siamo deliziati ,ottimi piatti cucinati bene ,ritorneremo.

12/02/2025: We were made aware of the restaurant by the positive reviews. Well, what can I say, it was rather disappointing in the end. In an Osteria I expect someone to guide you through the menu and explain things. Unfortunately, this did not happen. We had the mixed starters, they were nicely presented and the portions were large. All of them were OK, we particularly liked the arancini and the caponata. The pasta, strozza pretti, was not good, but the panzerotti was. In the second course, the chicken was too dry, but the donkey meat was good. In summary, the food was good but we expected a lot more. Service was generally good, prices too.

07/01/2025: Abbiamo trascorso il cenone di capodanno con pernottamento e pranzo di capodanno! Mangiare tutto buonissimo d'entrambi i giorni, di qualità! Soprattutto la carne!antipasti e primi buonissimi genuini e cucina come una Volta.I maccheroni al sugo spettacolari o rivissuto i sapori che cucinava mia nonna. un locale bello con una vista stupenda.Bravi complimenti in tutto ci rivedremo presto

10/01/2025: Good food, prepared with precision Old style staff, customers don't do the waiters a courtesy by going to that restaurant. A little more empathy would be advisable. Old but nice atmosphere.

31/12/2024: Typical Sicilian restaurant that has remained intact from the 70s to today. Very fresh fish, impeccable waiters from times gone by, traditional Sicilian dishes

19/02/2025: The appetizer was good, the pasta alla norma was good....the pasta allo scoglio was NOT good. The fish was frozen and the taste was bad. We ate the pasta, but discarded the fish...and that's not good in Sicily!!!! We left a little disappointed. Very nice service, as was the environment.

20/01/2025: Very nice place with good service. We took some crispy space prawns to dip in excellent mayonnaise. I had a first course of spaghetti with seafood which was unfortunately ruined by a tomato sauce that was too sweet, as if a kilo of sugar had been added (sour tomato? Personal taste of the chef?)?!

10/02/2025: Everything was delicious, the cooked dishes highlighting regional products make me hungry just thinking about it! The warm atmosphere and the well located place! The service was also personalized, my partner and I had a very pleasant time.
