10/07/2025: I'm from the area, and unfortunately, when I go out to dinner in the summer near the seaside, I almost always feel—to put it mildly—like a sheep among wolves. The waiter or owner's goal is often to cram as much food into your mouth and onto your bill as possible. Let's not even consider the very Italian bad habit of charging the infamous cover charge (in this case, €3 per person) or adding a liter of water to your bill as if it were three liters of diesel. But oh well, we've sadly gotten used to it. Positives: acceptable, sometimes pleasant food, equally good service, nice location overlooking the harbor. Negatives: that perhaps over two months you're trying to maximize profits by trampling on rights. Excuse the rhyme. So, three appetizers (about €18 each) for five people became six appetizers for five people (about €18 each) because there weren't enough "pieces"—there were four—and so it was easier to bring eight than to add the fifth. But fortunately, the opposite also rarely happens.

07/06/2025: Quite a disappointing experience for the service and food. We waited about 30 minutes to finally order after sitting down, even though we had repeatedly said we were ready to order. Bread served stale. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes, something finally arrives, but only for some of the diners. We wait a few more minutes for the others. Moral of the story: seated at 9:00 pm, we have dinner at 10:30 pm. And this in June. I can't imagine the slowness of the service in August. Exorbitant prices for the quality of the food, which is normal. The citrus-flavored fish salad, for example, had no hint of citrus. It was reheated and cooled fish, seasoned with oil and little salt. Let's leave aside the McCain chips... 5 euros... At the supermarket you pay 1 euro and something... What happens in the fantastic fryer to increase the price? Fennel salad with pink pepper... This one too... 5 euros for half a fennel cross dressed with oil and salt. I don't recommend it.

09/01/2025: We had lunch on New Year's Day and usually on these holidays you never eat well but Case Perrotta is the exception that confirms the rule! Everything but everything delicious! And impeccable service! Highly recommended!!!

10/06/2025: Hele leuke gemoedelijke locatie, lekker buiten tussen de locals. We namen een gedeeld voorgerecht maar kregen wat anders dan we hadden verwacht, alles was gefrituurd of in een bitterbal/ kroket vorm, wel lekker. Vriendelijk personeel, uiteindelijk weer gezwicht voor een pizza die ik wederom zoals altijd niet meer op kon. Een aantal van ons wilden een kopje thee om af te sluiten maar ze hadden geen thee

22/07/2025: Disappointment after a four-year wait After four years, I enthusiastically returned to this restaurant, driven by fond memories. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to expectations. I ordered a meat appetizer, grilled spaghetti with tomato sauce, and a cannoli. The appetizer included several dishes, all very similar in flavor: a dish that seemed assembled more to increase the bill than to surprise the palate. The spaghetti, although well cooked and with an interesting aroma, was completely lacking in flavor. The dessert was the biggest disappointment: the cannoli, along with the other desserts, seemed to have just come out of a supermarket package. Nothing that reminded me of the authenticity and care of the home cooking I had so appreciated years ago. In the end, the only thing that remained truly "salty" was the bill. What a shame.

17/06/2025: Wonderful place, enchanting, a magical garden. A simple cuisine, with attention to the choice of local raw materials and of excellent quality, to obtain dishes with a unique flavor. Exceptional staff, especially Maria Pia. I highly recommend it for spending a nice evening

17/06/2025: The Food was okay, not over the top (lije we thought it would be). But decent. Unfortunately the service was really bad. It was a busy evening but still, we were quite shocked with the inattentive waitor who chose to ignore me waving with my hands for 15 minutes to order some water. They served my friends meal too early so her food got completely cold by the time our dishes had arrived. Don’t recommend it…..

04/06/2025: Sono venuto in questa trattoria prenotata da amici. Il locale fa servizio con menù fisso a 20€ dove portano tantissimi piatti di antipasti, poi a scelta un secondo e per finire caffè/ sorbetto o amaro. Siamo persone che mangiano di tutto ma alcuni piatti a nostro avviso erano poco buoni tipo la mozzarella (la lascerei per i ristoranti campani!), la parmigiana (non si può sbagliare!), i formaggi (abbondanti ma poco buoni, meglio poco e di buona qualità).

29/05/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale per caso su google maps. Ci fermiamo e ci propongono il loro menù fisso a 20€ che comprende antipasti, secondo, bibite e sorbetto finale. Tutto molto buono e tipicamente siciliano Personale altamente qualificato e gentile. Ci torneremo sicuramente nelle prossime permanenze a Catania.

07/06/2025: Quando leggi certe recensioni del passato, poi chiedi il motivo e capisci che la gestione era diversa. È tornata la vecchia gestione e abbiamo passato una serata perfetta, coordinata da un ristoratore che ci mette il cuore...e si vede. Magia

02/06/2025: Locale molto intimo e ben curato. Piatti di qualita'. Proprietario eatremamente gentile, ci ha portato a casa dopo cena, dopo aver saputo che avevamo forato la ruota dello scooter.

Spezzatino e parmigia buonissimi davvero! io un Primo busiate a raguttino di pesce che è stato uno spettacolo. Capitato per visitare palermo che non avevo mai visto. siamo della versilia. Domani ci torno per assaggiare altre piatti perché ne sono rimasto particolarmente colpito. Anche i cameri gentilissimi e pronti a regalarti un sorriso.
