22/03/2026: The food was cold and already prepared, not even heated properly. We waited 30 minutes and received a cold dish. The quality/price ratio was terrible.

15/10/2025: Historic seafood restaurant. Simple, fresh fish dishes in a retro setting. The staff and owners are exceptional, highly recommended. My family and I have been coming here regularly for over ten years.

11/09/2025: Hi everyone, my colleagues and I are passing by for an external job and decide to spend our lunch break at this place. Intrigued by the name, we go in from the outside, it's not bad, but as soon as we enter we immediately see a dark and empty place. The waiter, and I assume he's also the owner, has us sit outside in the space near a garden. To make a long story short, 3 pizzas (the Buitoni ones, as my colleague says, are better), 2 cans of Coke, a water and 2 coffees, a total of 57 euros. Sorry, I forgot my colleague, in addition to suffering from mosquitoes and killing about ten between one bite of pizza and the next. Speechless, I do not recommend it.

03/10/2025: Speaking of food, I had excellent mixed fried fish, delicious fish meatballs, and an exceptional house sorbet. The location was simple, and the service was at times disappointing.

26/08/2025: We come in their work hours and it was closed. Maybe one is coincidence but 2 is irresponsibility. If you do not open your Shop between the hours you said just delete that hours.

13/01/2026: BEWARE, CRIMINALS!! Pizza, drink and dessert for 6 people cost me 1400EUR : ( We went there for lunch on the spur of the moment on a friends-and-family trip to Sicily, sadly without checking any online reviews first. The pizzas were actually great and the waiter was also excellent, a near carbon-copy of Robert De Nero in both look and personality. Tragically for us, he was also an excellent scam artist putting us at ease through the whole meal so when it came to paying he somehow managed to charge us over £1,400 Euro without me realising even though I could have sworn I looked at the amount on the screen before paying with a card (which I have since put a daily max limit on...). Perhaps he had a screen overlay or something like that. On our return I realised the massive overcharge. Needless to say I tried contacting them without any reply. I also can't get any money back from Wise/Visa as I didn't have a copy of the receipt with what the actual amount should have been even though I had a photo of us six people there showing the food which obviously couldn't possibly have come to that amount. I.e. a VERY expensive life lesson. One of the other waiters had a necklace with a bullet pendant. God only knows what those crooks get up to outside the tourist season. Perhaps we got off lightly compared to others that cross their path...

23/11/2025: Cold night, sat inside had a pasta, light pistachio sauce with breadcrumbs and a couple glasses of wine, I have a tomato allergy so my pasta choices are often bland, a lot of pizza on the menu. Service was attentive and entertaining, Manuel was ‘charming’. Interior has a Midcentury vibe.

09/12/2025: All the food was excellent and top-quality, freshly prepared dishes, fresh fish, friendly staff, free parking, excellent value! Highly recommended!!

30/09/2025: The food was normal, fish was too salted, spagetti was good. But in restaurant there was specific smell, like toilet smell. Poor english.

08/02/2026: I returned to this pastry shop after several years. Unfortunately, the prices have gone up, but not the quality. Even the Sicilian cannoli, which used to be a guarantee, no longer live up to the pastry shop's history. The atmosphere is apathetic and distant. A real shame.

31/01/2026: The granita and pastries are delicious. But I recommend asking fellow Catanians whether the brioche is fresh or not; anyone born and raised in Sicily knows what it should be like.

28/11/2025: Wasn’t going to book this because of the central location for fear of this being a tourist trap…I was proved completely wrong! Hands down our best meal during a weeks stay in Taormina. Food was superb, reasonably priced and the service was great. It was very quiet when we visited but I imagine the atmosphere will be phenomenal when it is fully booked. The walls are adorned with photos of famous faces who have ate here and I understand why! 100% recommend you to try here if you are in Taormina…you will NOT be disappointed!

23/10/2025: This restaurant is pure rip-off. Before you even read the menu, you're already served water at the table, the price of which is conflated with the wine. The menu is expensive, and although I don't know how it tastes, the way it's done is very bad. This is the only weak point of Taormina restaurants. It's a shame, because the rest of the restaurant is great.

12/03/2026: Long wait for the ordered food. Very crowded and noisy. We ordered two double pizzas (for two people). They were OK. The bill was reasonable. There could have been better choices :(

27/11/2025: Great wine, delicious food, absolutely unique service! Ahmed is nice, cheerful and funny, the atmosphere is wonderful. The last time my mother fed me was about 60 years ago, and this year here! 😁 We recommend.

15/11/2025: The food and atmosphere were okay, but we spent an hour and a half in the restaurant, 45 minutes of which was just waiting for our main course. The staff was friendly, but they completely forgot about us, even though there weren't many customers. Such a wait time is unacceptable.

06/01/2026: Sharing my experience, just leaving this facility at 3:55 PM from 12:45 PM... I won't go into too many words. The whole context was TERRIBLE.

06/07/2025: Assolutamente da non prendere le linguine al gambero rosso. Ci siamo ritrovate con una pasta scarsa, con pochi gamberetti in stile surgelato che non avevano nulla a che vedere col gambero rosso di Mazara. Trappola per turisti

05/07/2025: Convinti delle recensioni piuttosto positive prenotiamo in questo ristorante che effettivamente è situato in posizione strategica e molto bella ma gli aspetti positivi finiscono qui! Servizio molto lento anche se presenti parecchie cameriere. Abbiamo dovuto attendere per avere l’acqua successivamente per avere il vino e le pietanze. Il primo è arrivato quando avevamo ancora i piatti dell’antipasto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: abbastanza buono l’antipasto “di Ercole” mentre i primi assolutamente no. Le busiate allo scoglio erano brodose, il pesce volendo c’era ma cucinato così è uno spreco. Le busiate alle sarde molto forti di sapore, non le ho apprezzate. Prezzo direi non adeguato2 antipasti, 3 primi, mezzo litro di vino della casa 111 euro.

29/12/2025: The quality-price ratio is a bit unbalanced: the dishes are good but the prices are too high, like the pasta with clams which cost 20 euros.

01/11/2025: Ficodindia is a true gem in San Vito Lo Capo! The location is incredibly romantic, perfect for a special evening. The food is truly delicious, with carefully prepared dishes and authentic flavors that showcase local traditions with a modern twist. The staff is welcoming and attentive.

08/02/2026: The food is very good and the location is splendid but it is closed for holidays until March.

09/12/2025: I only ate the arancini with ragù... which I found very good... the service was also discreet but ok... the prices were honest... on the negative side... the cleanliness... a little dirty... the bathrooms then... too dirty... with all the dirty people who pass by there... it needs more attention and a bit more cleaning...
