09/05/2025: Rude staff who ignore you, I had to wait 10 minutes for 2 coffees, there was no one at the counter and he started cleaning cups and trays, in the meantime 2 other people obviously arrived at the customers because he greeted them, talked for a while and then when our coffees were finally ready he served them to other customers. We won't go back even for a coffee Disgraceful service Professionalism 0

25/05/2025: We had “breakfast” at Monica’s twice this past week, staff and service were very good. English isn’t readily spoken; but understood well enough to get orders done. The pastries and caffès were good and tasty, their table service was quick and polite. A good place to start your day from.

28/04/2025: Ristorante con vista sulla valle dei templi. Conosciuto durante la visita al sito archeologico, consigliato dal signor Paolo collaboratore del ristorante, persona simpatica e a modo. A pranzo mi sono recato con mia moglie al Kokalos e nonostante fosse strapieno siamo stati serviti subitissimo! Abbiamo mangiato molto molto bene! Dall’antipasto alla carne cotta perfettamente ai contorni al vino … Qualità eccellente! Personale gentile e professionale! Una domenica fantastica! Complimenti a tutti! p.s. grazie signor Paolo per avermi invitato al ristorante Kokalos.

15/03/2025: C’era un caldo da morire ed il proprietario si è rifiutato di accendere l’aria condizionata. La pizza era discreta, ma i servizi sono da migliorare per renderli almeno accettabili

18/05/2025: Cena con amici posto piacevolissimo titolare gentilissimo e personale pronto e attento. Cucina ottima con prodotti freschi ben trattati . Spero di poterci tornare consigliatissimo

15/05/2025: Cena para dos. Primero Filetto di manzo vino bien hecho a pesar de ser ordenado medio raro. Segundo llegó medio raro sin embargo lleno de tendones y carente de calidad. Por último, pero no menos importante, parecía normal que una señora local estaba fumando su IQOS dentro del restaurante... El propietario parecía muy agradable, sin embargo, abrumado con su equipo no actuar en una noche de viernes ocupado... . nada más que añadir.

02/05/2025: Yesterday, on the occasion of the May 1st holiday, I, my Dudu and our friend, had lunch in this very characteristic tavern... we ordered dishes that were out of this world... appetizers, first course, second courses, side dish and finally the cannoli... all delicious, of excellent quality, very fresh... the ricotta is something special... I recommend you try it... we will be back soon

05/05/2025: Ci siamo capitati per caso dopo aver visto un video su tictok.Mangiato in 2 io e la mia signora. Spezzatino e parmigia buonissimi davvero! io un Primo busiate a raguttino di pesce che è stato uno spettacolo. Capitato per visitare palermo che non avevo mai visto. siamo della versilia. Domani ci torno per assaggiare altre piatti perché ne sono rimasto particolarmente colpito. Anche i cameri gentilissimi e pronti a regalarti un sorriso.

12/03/2025: Ho trovato questa trattoria con Google, ci ho pranzato al volo con la mia ragazza perché eravamo in giro per Taormina come turisti. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto ed un primo a testa (parmigiana di melanzane e caponata , pasta alla norma e pasta alla trapanese), un calice di vino a testa (un bianco molto commerciale pagato comunque 9 euro a calice), un caffè e un bottiglia d'acqua naturale. Nota negativa, non vi era la possibilità di scelta dei vini in quanto la lista non era presente. La pasta della mia ragazza era salata, il proprietario l'ha sostituita ma era ugualmente salata. Risultato io ho mangiato la pasta fredda e lei ugualmente salata. Il proprietario gentile ma non altezza, tant'è vero che il conto di 95,50 euro era compreso del piatto con errore, nonostante non fosse stato terminato, proprio perché immangiabile. Ho visto le recensioni precedenti e nell' ultimo periodo la trattoria ha avuto un calo. Peccato non averle guardate prima.

11/05/2025: Not like it used to be. Biblical waiting times, both to order and to receive. The brioche is dry, it is no longer as soft as before. They bring a non-fiscal receipt to the table, but they make you pay immediately. and if you want the receipt you have to go inside, but there is certainly a queue for this too. they should definitely change the staff.

11/05/2025: I waited 20 minutes to order and another 20 to receive the granita with half the place empty. The brioche is very dry and the staff is anything but friendly. The cost is definitely above average and the receipt I was given was not the tax receipt 🤔 In short, I went there several times, but today after waiting 40 minutes for breakfast it was the last. Given the amount of negative reviews regarding the long waiting times and the terrible service, you ask me if it would be appropriate to ask yourself two questions.

15/05/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant overlooking the harbor. Super fresh ingredients, authentic Sicilian cuisine, and a stunning view. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for a seaside dinner 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

30/05/2025: I returned to this place after a few years A truly disappointing experience from all points of view We arrive and the waiter does not even bother to say hello or to give us an indication of who to contact At the time of payment, this gentleman always did not understand that to pay with tickets you have to insert the card and not put it on the POS, when he understands that he is not able to make us pay with tickets he turns to his colleague and, referring to us, says "make this one pay", we really do not know where he got all this confidence by calling us "this one" I asked a waitress where the bathrooms were and she told me "down the stairs", maybe those who have not already been there may not know where they are.... Absurd then that there is no bathroom on the floor, how would a disabled person do all those steps? As for the food, I really don't know what to say... the pasta with squid ink tasted like nothing, the shrimp and pieces of octopus were thrown in haphazardly and completely tasteless The pasta alla norma was acceptable Overall? 25/05/2025: Pretty good place. Something different, and they don't charge you €5 for a coffee at least. I'd recommend it. The food isn't anything special, but it's pretty good.

12/01/2025: Sono cliente della pasticceria da anni, da quando ho assaggiato i loro dolci a Catania. Infatti quando potevo prima in aeroporto a roma (da diversi anni purtroppo non c e più il negozio) mi fermavo per coccolarmi con le prelibatezze siciliane. Anche oggi ero in zona trastevere mi sono allungata fino alla pasticceria abbiamo ordinato e quando mi stavo avvicinando all unico tavolo libero ancora da sparecchiare ho notato una coppia che molto furbamente ha occupato il tavolo prima di ordinare... Non mi piace fare questioni con i maleducati anche perché mi aspettavo un intervento del personale della pasticceria dato che non è normale che si sieda al tavolo chi ancora deve ordinare (il marito era ancora in fila) e si lasci in piedi chi invece ha già ordinato costringendolo a consumare una pasta e caffè in piedi ad un tavolo senza sedie. C è stato un tentativo da parte del personale di sistemare la situazione portandomi un sgabello di legno, non confacente ad una seduta. Mi spiace che c è stata poca accortezza nei confronti della clientela e sinceramente a malincuore rinunciero' ai prodotti di ottima qualità della pasticceria siciliana, ma non sarò più cliente se questo è il trattamento riservato.

28/04/2025: Posto piccolo con pochi tavoli ma bellissimo e molto curato con la signora che accoglie gli ospiti con una gentilezza e familiarità sopraffina. Il cuoco illustra con dovizia di particolari tutti i piatti che sono semplici ma molto gustosi. Sicuramente da ritornare e da provare per chi non c'è mai andato

24/04/2025: Posto carino, personale educato e simpatico, pietanze al di sotto della media e prezzi veramente esagerati. Bel posto bella musica di sottofondo ma sinceramente non lo consiglio.
