22/06/2025: La nostra cena al Porto Bello è stata un momento memorabile del nostro viaggio a Salina. Il ristorante si trova in una posizione ideale con una vista spettacolare sulla baia. La qualità del cibo è eccezionale: ogni piatto è preparato con ingredienti freschi e locali. Il crudo misto di cernia, gamberi e ricciola era vario e squisito, gli spaghetti al fuoco erano cotti al dente alla perfezione e con un sapore che ti fa venire voglia di tornare solo per assaggiarli di nuovo. Il personale è cordiale e professionale e sa come far sentire speciale ogni cliente. I prezzi sono assolutamente onesti per la qualità offerta.

21/06/2025: Il mio piatto preferito qui sono stati gli spaghetti, arricchiti dal sapore di una perfetta quantità di pepe, olive nere e formaggio. Il personale è stato accogliente e apprezzo molto il servizio attento.

06/07/2025: Assolutamente da non prendere le linguine al gambero rosso. Ci siamo ritrovate con una pasta scarsa, con pochi gamberetti in stile surgelato che non avevano nulla a che vedere col gambero rosso di Mazara. Trappola per turisti

05/07/2025: Convinti delle recensioni piuttosto positive prenotiamo in questo ristorante che effettivamente è situato in posizione strategica e molto bella ma gli aspetti positivi finiscono qui! Servizio molto lento anche se presenti parecchie cameriere. Abbiamo dovuto attendere per avere l’acqua successivamente per avere il vino e le pietanze. Il primo è arrivato quando avevamo ancora i piatti dell’antipasto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo: abbastanza buono l’antipasto “di Ercole” mentre i primi assolutamente no. Le busiate allo scoglio erano brodose, il pesce volendo c’era ma cucinato così è uno spreco. Le busiate alle sarde molto forti di sapore, non le ho apprezzate. Prezzo direi non adeguato2 antipasti, 3 primi, mezzo litro di vino della casa 111 euro.

16/05/2025: Este fue un hallazgo en Taormina. Ligeramente lejos de las principales cafeterías y tiendas. Teníamos mariscos increíbles, almejas, mejillones y lubina fresca, bañados con delicioso vino local.

07/05/2025: Gran ambiente escondido de la calle principal y la comida y el personal eran encantadores. Solo ten cuidado con las bebidas gratuitas que ponen en la mesa y luego agregar a su cuenta al final.

08/07/2025: Rude staff, I had to wait 10 minutes, they had left the coffee made but they had not brought me the tax to the balcony and after I was joking or up.

07/07/2025: It won't be an imitation of Sicily... that's true, the croissants are about half the size! Instead I have to say that the service is exactly like in Sicily: biblical waiting times, waiters who give priority to trivial things instead of serving the customer, waiting at the table that exceeds half an hour. It could go to Modica perhaps, but certainly not to a big city.

09/07/2025: We had a lovely evening at the Faro Verde restaurant. We were pampered with the utmost attention by the staff, the dishes were carefully prepared, and the service was impeccable. The location and atmosphere were romantic and refined. The quality and price were fair! The black pepper tuna served with onion jam was a must-try. The evening's special, lobster linguine, was a huge hit.

24/06/2025: We celebrated my daughter's baptism, impeccable service and excellent food. I have known the restaurateurs for years and we have celebrated several anniversaries with them. And we have never made a bad impression. Thanks guys, keep it up

08/07/2025: I prodotti per la colazione sono discretamente buoni, il problema è la scortesia del personale. Avevo chiesto un cappuccino e un ginseng, e la cameriera mi chiede se volessi un cappuccino ginseng o 1 cappuccino e 1 ginseng, le chiarisco ció che voglio, ma nonostante il chiarimento mi serve un cappuccino ginseng. Quando glielo faccio notare, si rivolge a me in maniera molto scortese, dicendo che era quello che avevo chiesto (cosa non vera in quanto lo avevo appunto chiarito). È intervenuto un altro cameriere che l’ha invitata a rifare il cappuccino, e lei procede in maniera molto scortese e scocciata a correggere il suo sbaglio. Non è un problema sbagliare la comanda, specie se il locale è pieno, ma rivolgersi così a un cliente si.

03/07/2025: Io sono stato a Roma qualche mese fa, e tutti dicevano “vai da Mizzica, è famoso, fanno roba siciliana buona, come in casa!”. Allora io ci sono andato, e il mangiare era davvero buono. Ma io devo dire pure la verità: io sto sulla sedia a rotelle, e lì non si può entra’. Non c’è scivolo, non c’è niente. Solo tavoli fuori, ma quando sono andato io pioveva. E io che faccio, mangio col cappuccio e le mani bagnate? Non è giusto. Io sono venuto apposta, e poi resto fuori sotto l’acqua come uno scemo. Il posto è bello pieno sempre, si vede che la gente ci va tanto, ma devono pensare pure a chi non cammin. Non è che possiamo sempre stare fuori, come i cani. Il mangiare è top, ma per me se non fanno posto entrata per noi non ci torno più.

06/07/2025: Sufficient granita, forgettable brioches! Unfortunately, great expectations were not fulfilled, unwelcoming staff and long waits, immediate payment with the granita melting and a hefty bill (8€ granita and brioches)!

06/07/2025: Waiting time for two granitas and two brioches 45 min (and the review could stop there). Payment directly at the table upon delivery with a NON-fiscal receipt. To get the fiscal one you have to go to the cashier and LOOK for it among the various receipts on the counter (madness). Too bad because the granita and the brioche are good (in any case I won't be back).

23/06/2025: Excellent caponata and swordfish and truly delicious anchovies a beccafico in an oasis of tranquility and courtesy. Not a stop on a journey but a destination.

Furthermore, a charge of 2.5 euro was applied for water for every pitcher Also cover charges of 2.2 euros

12/07/2025: Good location and nice setting but food was very very average. Overpriced for average food. Had the linguine lobster. It was fine. Tiramisu also average. It’s a lively setting and it leans in that too much.
