05/04/2024: Entered by chance, remarkable experience. I'll start with the staff, very kind, fast, trained in all the languages ​​of the world and attentive (this is not a given for Rome, and a Roman says so...). There are national dishes and those of our Capitoline tradition (the place has a history, it was in via Panisperna even before the second war and we imagine perhaps that Fermi and the famous "boys" who made history went there to eat). I tried - off the menu - some excellent tonnarelli (nice al dente), with artichoke cream, pecorino and bacon. Large and welcoming internal rooms and internal space in the lively Monti district. Bathrooms in order (and this too is unusual for the capital!). Widely competitive prices for quality and service.

07/04/2024: Absolutely not. I never give negative reviews, but they practically dragged this one out of me. Bad experience overall, the most serious thing was when the waiter poured the plate of OIL on my girlfriend's clothes, at the end of the bill after pointing out that they didn't even "offer" us the dry cleaners from the bill the waiter responded by saying "I didn't hurt him"... but who teaches you how to work. Neutral dishes, from 1 to 10 the right rating is 5 without removing or adding anything. Organization to be reviewed, staff understaffed or to be reviewed given that confusion reigns supreme.

06/04/2024: Historic place in the heart of Rome, a stone's throw from the most famous places in the centre. The restaurant is in one of those alleys that were once passed through by prelates and officials, it is thought to be the oldest restaurant in the world still open since the 16th century. Roman cuisine is good and could be improved but the service and environment are at the top. Also worth trying to try the rabbit hunter...the house wine and the desserts are good too

Very fast service, we took the courgette flowers stuffed with fresh mozzarella and anchovies as an appetizer, a very good fillet of cod, as a first course, I recommend clams and courgette flowers, and gray cod, then we continued with the Giudia style artichokes, beautiful, crunchy and with flavors and to finish meatballs. The fried food is perfect and not at all oily, the bread for making the slipper is also good. The house wine is also good. Honest prices

07/04/2024: We were there last night. It was the first time. We asked to change tables and they obliged. Very kind. Delicious lard and chicory bruschetta, excellent gnochhi and linguine with butter and anchovies. Lamb as delicious as tiramisu! I'm sorry but I forgot to take photos, we were too hungry! Very nice location. Average prices. Highly recommended.

06/04/2024: Nice typical restaurant, 2 steps from San Pietro. Traditional Roman food but also dishes for less demanding palates, however cooked with family attention and above all, well! There is also homemade pasta: we had the tomato and basil gnocchi, very good! The rigatoni alla gricia are fabulous. Above all, however, the kindness of the landlady, emblem of the popular sympathy of Rome that the whole world envies us.

30/03/2024: "coats on the chairs: NO" this is the welcome of the property, in an intimate and informal place, decidedly Roman, both in furnishings and in the kitchen, where the menu is declaimed verbally for the few guests (about thirty) . The service is genuine and fast, perhaps too fast. The cuisine is exclusively Roman and certainly deserves a taste; in particular the Giudia-style artichoke and the lamb chops, both fried and grilled. The bill is definitely honest. Enjoy your meal!

07/04/2024: Historic restaurant in Maranella. It has always been there and has been passed down from father to son for 4 generations. I have been going to this restaurant for many years and the quality increases year after year. I recommend the timeless spaghetti with clams and truffles but there are dishes for all types of palates. Try it!!!! Affordable prices.....

05/04/2024: Authentic Italian experience! We spoke no Italian and they spoke no English but the experience was seamless. The staff were really warm and welcoming and the food was incredibly good. I had a steak which was melting in the mouth and my partner had carbonara which he said was the best he had in Rome. We also had panna cotta and chocolate fondant which again was out of this world. We were the only foreign couple but it was no bother, everyone was friendly. We would 100% recommend. We shared a bottle of wine and had two courses and paid less than €50.
