12/02/2025: Unassuming entrance belies a spacious and refined interior. Mid-week lunchtime, the clientele seemed to be made up of business people and well dressed locals. Discreet service with good food, and a world away from the cramped bustle of the nearby touristy eateries.

25/02/2025: It was the best meal I had in Rome! The spare ribs were surprisingly tender and delicious, the meat tartare had a wonderful truffle aroma, and even the fries that came with it were refined, had an exquisite texture, and were perfectly seasoned.The chocolate cake was a bit spicy because the mousse contained peperoncino, which was my first experience, but this was a wonderful balance with the sweetness of the chocolate, and the cake was a little warm. This dinner was one of the most satisfying meals I've ever had in my life! The staff were great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great. I definitely want to eat here again when I come to Rome!

22/03/2025: I went to this osteria on Saturday for lunch and I couldn't have made a better choice! The owners were incredibly welcoming and kind and the food is truly exquisite. The fixed menu is also very convenient and allows you to enjoy a bruschetta, a first or second course of your choice, a dessert and coffee and water included, for only €12. The place is small but very welcoming and characteristic, I recommend booking well in advance because it has few tables.

08/03/2025: a disaster. a waiter who acts funny while taking orders without being at all funny or obviously professional. in fact, an unsolicited gricia with artichokes will be served and above all the right to bring a surprise dish to the plate because the tartare was no longer available. result: an absolutely unwelcome polenta with sauce is brought. mediocre food quality. we were greeted on the way out with the waiter who continued to be funny about the polenta he had served as a surprise. It's been a long time since we've had such a low level of catering

01/03/2025: Wonderful restaurant with all of Italy in its splendor, from the aperitif, to the pasta, tiramisu, cappuccino, grappa, the smile, the beauty, and the kindness of the waitress Alice, as well as the waiter Segi. We are 2 steps from the Pantheon of restaurants.

15/03/2025: 4 of us went there for lunch. Pasta was lovely and nice cosy local atmosphere . Reasonable price It’s quite a busy day ( rugby six nation) so we felt the service was a bit short . But I would recommend going there for the local vibe and lovely pasta

23/03/2025: It is worth going there just for the Scent of History that you can breathe between the walls of this Historic Restaurant. We were there for my nephew's birthday and I would never have expected anything like this. A Post Office for Princes, Princesses, Queens and Kings of the Past, who were on the Famous Grand Tour around Europe. The stable for the horses where the change took place to continue their Tour is still visible... a place that Smells of History. Super Friendly Staff..... 10 and Honors Head Waiter... what can I say..... It is Worth Going There.... I have been to many restaurants in Italy (even starred ones) and I must say that this experience Accessible to All Had Never Happened to Me.... 100 and Honors!!!

15/03/2025: Didn’t have a reservation but not an issue as it was March and we got there right as they opened. The view would’ve been cool but it was dark already so we sat inside. The amatriciana tortellini was delicious although could’ve benefited from an another tortellini or two (although maybe we’re just too American). The eggplant Parmesan was amazing!! Would recommend that for vegetarians. The pear walnut salad was just ok. The tomato basil pappardelle was good but not super flavorful. The chocolate cake was also good but not stellar. The hazelnut coffee parfait (gelato) was delicious but tiny fyi. The bread and biscotti/almond cookies on the house were nice.

01/03/2025: We went on the recommendation of a couple who has a blog. In the Pratti neighborhood, 15 minutes walk from the Vatican and San Angelo Castle. Comfortable place on the terrace to eat, spacious and clean toilets. Excellent food, all fresh, well prepared and reasonably priced. €25 per person with starter to share and without dessert. We ordered the octopus and potato salad which was very delicious. And first the beef and the grilled chicken, both came with a side of potatoes and salad. The other couple ordered the Angus burger which was very good, very tasty spaghetti carbonara and the breaded beef which was a little dry and too thin.
