30/07/2026: What a disappointment... We arrived at this lovely restaurant, and the promise was excellent given the very characteristic location. However, it took an hour just to order, and the food was anything but typical... A place for tourists who leave happy because they don't know Italian food. Definitely avoid.

10/08/2026: A true hidden gem in Cisternino/Apulia. A very pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious Italian cuisine at fair prices. Reservations for the rooftop terrace are highly recommended.

09/08/2026: A decidedly unpleasant experience, one not to be repeated. We waited over an hour without receiving our dishes. When we asked for an explanation, we were told they would bring everything together, from appetizers to main courses. Our order had obviously been forgotten or handled very poorly. We left the restaurant after about two and a half hours, leaving behind some of the dishes we'd ordered because we were no longer hungry. The worst part? When it came time to get the bill, not even an apology or a gesture of attention. A terrible experience, both in terms of the service and the total lack of professionalism and consideration for the customer. An experience definitely not to be repeated.

21/08/2026: The 5-star rating isn't achieved simply because it's on the side of the road, not directly facing the sea. Everything is truly excellent: the atmosphere is functional and pleasant, the service is courteous and attentive, and the food is prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulously presented (the seared octopus on ndija cream and octopus mayonnaise is truly exceptional). Kudos to the wait staff for their ability to welcome and guide guests with grace and kindness. We'll definitely be back to try other delicacies.

20/08/2026: Four of us went for dinner, including a large dog. The first thing to highlight is the courtesy and attentiveness of the staff, even providing us with adequate space and water for the dog without us having to ask. The quality of the food is excellent and the atmosphere truly fantastic. Each dish was presented with masterful care. One of the girls was also kind enough to prepare me a non-alcoholic cocktail that paired with our order. One of the best dinners of my life, truly congratulations.

09/06/2026: Edit: It is a pity that the owner is not open to constructive feedback. A good restaurant takes advice and criticism to heart. I believe I provided well-substantiated feedback. PS. My plates were not empty, not at all, in fact. I feel conflicted. Attracted by the high review score and beautiful photos, we made a reservation here. Expectations were high. We were given a table in the covered section. The photos looked infinitely more atmospheric than the covered area with bright, cold lighting and carnival lights that we actually had to deal with. However, when I went to the restroom, I saw that it is a beautiful place inside. Perhaps I shouldn't have judged too quickly. The service was friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The food... I don't understand it. The bread was stale; that can happen. I had the pasta with octopus as a primi and the tuna with eggplant carpaccio as a secondi. My wife had a pasta with bacon and lamb chops. Although all the dishes looked beautiful in terms of presentation, I must admit that it was inedible to me. The octopus pasta tasted so incredibly strongly of old, overly concentrated, and bitter fish flavor that my stomach turned. I thought it was just me, but my wife, also a big fish lover, had the same reaction when I let her taste it. Unfortunately, I had to leave the primi after two small bites. The secondi (tuna with eggplant carpaccio) was once again a picture in terms of presentation, but the fish was clearly not fresh and had an impossibly strong aftertaste. The eggplant had the same much too intense fishy taste. My partner had lamb chops that were well prepared, but it was clearly not top-quality lamb. When we asked for some mayonnaise with our potatoes, we were given the remaining sachets of Heinz mayonnaise and ketchup. These did not come from the kitchen but were leftovers from an empty table further away. That wouldn't even be such a disaster in itself, were it not that one of the sachets was already open, leaving all the sachets covered in ketchup. If the fish had been fresh, and the chef had tasted the dish before serving it (and determined that it was inedible in this state), the food would have received 4 stars from me. Because of this, I unfortunately have to rate the score at 1 star. The service was friendly and helpful. But using sauce sachets from another table is a no-go. Also, tilting the plate so that the cutlery falls onto the table when clearing it, instead of lifting it briefly (or better yet, using new cutlery), is not exactly proper etiquette when clearing plates. Unfortunately, I cannot make it any better. I really don't have very high expectations, and I am not a culinary snob. I just want tasty, edible food and acceptable service. Perhaps it was just a combination of unfortunate circumstances. Hence, not 1 star, but 2 stars.

04/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome at this charming, intimate little restaurant. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent, with surprising aromas and spices. Luckily, there weren't many of us, as the dining room is quite noisy. Thank you very much.

15/08/2026: This elegant and well-decorated restaurant in the center of Ostuni is a place for ten of us, serving both pizza and restaurant-style dishes. The ingredients were excellent. The bread and taralli were homemade. The fried fish and artichokes and the pasta with chickpeas and mussels were delicious. We finished with delicious homemade desserts. The prices were reasonable for the quality, and the staff was super friendly. It's definitely worth a try!

18/08/2026: We had dinner at Taverna della Gelosia and were truly delighted. We had an appetizer of cheeses accompanied by jams and honey, and orecchiette pasta: everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The atmosphere and setting, truly quaint, evocative, and unique, made the experience even more enjoyable. A place that captures all the charm of Ostuni. Excellent cuisine, beautiful setting, and a special atmosphere. Definitely a place worth trying, and one I'd happily return to!

15/08/2026: Four of us sat on the veranda overlooking the sea, a cool, quiet place. Delicious food, impeccable service; they even changed our table because we pointed out it was swaying. The eggplant parmigiana was fantastic! Excellent desserts. Average price for a tourist spot on August 15th.
