09/12/2025: We couldn't have ended the trip better. Gentlemen, what a place, what quality, what cuisine. The best tuna tartare I've ever eaten in my life, and it was simple...just tuna, with no decorations that altered the flavor of the fresh product. The cacio e pepe with shrimp was indescribable, as were the potatoes that accompanied the octopus: yes, simple potatoes that seemed heavenly. We were treated with the utmost professionalism and attention, a truly excellent place. We will return to Brindisi only to return to the Locanda del Porto.

08/12/2025: Everything is delicious. Every time we go, we feel right at home. Fresh food cooked to order. The waiters are very kind, and the owner is welcoming, smiling, and always ready to please. We go often. The menu is extensive, catering to both fish and meat eaters. The prices are fair, even lower than other restaurants. They always have the freshest fish off the menu, with no surprises on the bill. Just walking into this restaurant and being greeted with a smile is a pleasure. We've had the opportunity to try many dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed. Reservations are essential, as it's always busy. We're regular customers, and I sincerely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat well at a fair price.

28/11/2025: What are "forchetteinviaggio" (follow us on Instagram) doing in Cisternino? Reviewing steakhouses? Not yet... today we went to the Le Capase restaurant and pizzeria to review their pizza. Upon entering, the restaurant presents itself with its typical star-shaped stone vaults, very welcoming and well-kept. At the back of the room, a very imposing fireplace dominates and warms the hearts of everyone, and not just everyone. As soon as we were seated, we were immediately served by young staff who brought us menus and water, as well as an appetizer of friselline and a delicious spreadable cream. The menu is very varied. Since it's also a restaurant, there are obviously first and second courses, but we didn't really delve into them, as pizza was our goal for the evening. The pizza menu offers a good variety... our choices were buffalo mozzarella and the house pizza "Le Capase", a white pizza with fiordilatte, cherry tomatoes, capocollo, smoked cave caciocavallo, and honey. Very tasty, soft, light dough. Very good pizza, quality ingredients. Still not satisfied, we wanted to treat ourselves to one of the artisanal desserts on the menu... this one was also very good. Very attentive, polite, and never invasive service. Bill: €24 each for two pizzas, a generous portion of chips, one water, one medium beer, one Coke for dessert, and a limoncello... I'd say it was very good considering the amount of food. We recommend this place... Cisternino isn't just about bombette.

The food was excellent, the pizza light. The quality of the service and the attentiveness of the staff made this experience even more enjoyable. See you soon.

20/10/2025: The food was delicious. Friendly staff. Beautiful and surprising dishes. Unique flavor combinations. They were quick to bring all sorts of things to the table, like bread, olives, cookies, etc.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the attentive staff is always ready to recommend the perfect wine for each dish. Prices are in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended. 18/11/2025: The best pizza I've ever eaten. Of course, I ordered an extra diavola and it seemed like it should be super spicy, but it wasn't. In fact, it wasn't spicy at all, but it was still good! Very kind staff and impeccable cleanliness!

03/11/2025: After two months of waiting, we finally went to lunch at the famous Il Capriccio restaurant. What a disappointment! The much-vaunted and highly praised tagliolini all'aragostella (lobster-like tagliolini) is nothing more than a mass of pasta with a questionable pulp (lobster?) mixed with a lot of cream. But can you serve a fish dish(?) with cream? An experience I'll never forget.

30/11/2025: A welcoming and pleasant place, perfect for those who love to eat well, generously, and without leaving hungry. Dishes are meticulously prepared in both taste and presentation. Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

09/11/2025: We had dinner at this great restaurant, inside because it was November, but the small terrace looked very nice. We opted for the classic, enormous T-bone steak, cooked to perfection, accompanied by a delicious local wine.

01/11/2025: A lovely osteria in this fantastic seaside village. Even though we arrived late, at 3:45 PM, they kindly made us feel comfortable and at ease. The peppered mussels were delicious, as were the "panciotti" stuffed with fresh fish. The service was exceptional, with a wonderful young woman acting as "hostess."

31/10/2025: Birthday lunch on Sunday, October 26th.... beautifully presented and prepared dishes.... elegance and professionalism both in the kitchen and in the service, excellent recommended menu.... top marks for the Senatore Cappelli spaghetti with sea urchin pulp.... excellent management by the owner.... view of the splendid little port of Savelletri.... I can't comment on the prices because I was invited... highly recommended .

23/11/2025: We went for lunch on the recommendation of a friend and had a truly wonderful meal. Simple yet carefully prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and generous portions. You can taste the cuisine prepared with care and without frills, just like in a true Apulian osteria. The staff is friendly, attentive but never intrusive, and the atmosphere is just right: warm, informal, perfect for enjoying a quiet lunch without the tourist trap feel. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!
