04/05/2026: Our second visit in a month, again tempted in by the live music. This time a trio playing bossa nova. My starter was advertised as a fried egg and I was intrigued to see how they could make such a humble breakfast item into a restaurant quality dish. They somehow managed to cover it in a crumb coating on a creamy pea puree base with crispy bacon. Excellent. Mary prawns were very good. For main I had a deliciously succulent pork. Mary’s tagliate di manzo (beef) was beautifully pink and tender all the way through.
13/04/2026: Not just a pizzeria but a full menu restaurant. We have dined there several times before. On this occasion we were tempted in by live music. Mary and I shared a couple of starters: prawns with yellow tomato coulis and thinly sliced roast beef. For the main course Mary went for fish with wilted greens and I had ravioli stuffed with chicken served with asparagus. Everything was delicious and clearly cooked freshly to order.
An observation – Italian children are well behaved in restaurants because they are introduced to dining out from a very early age. There was a little girl who was clearly enjoying the music.

02/05/2026: A beautiful restaurant in the Itria Valley, decorated in a refined rustic style, with stone walls, wooden furnishings, and an open cellar. Extremely friendly staff and elegant dishes. The appetizers are generous. The red beetroot gnocchi with asparagus and crispy bacon are excellent. The grouper tubettoni on a cream of grass peas are also excellent, as are the laganari pasta with cardoncelli mushrooms, confit cherry tomatoes, and capocollo from Martina Franca. The mango and coconut sorbet is exquisite.

Luckily, there weren't many of us, as the dining room is quite noisy. Thank you very much.

12/05/2026: The food is particularly delicious! High quality, tasty ingredients, traditional dishes but also surprising combinations. The majority of the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Limited English is spoken, which sometimes leads to misunderstandings – and as a result, the friendliness disappeared among a number of staff members. As far as I am concerned, the decor could have been a bit cozier; due to the high ceilings, it quickly feels cold.
06/05/2026: The place is beautiful but very pretentious, so I expected different service than what I received. Tables were set with individual placemats, glasses were positioned incorrectly, there were five of us, and the food was served at three different times. As for the dishes, some were good, others just very showy but lacked flavor. The waiters wore less than clean shirts or aprons.
Excessively expensive for the service received.

The service is incredibly friendly and helpful, despite the busy atmosphere. The perfect place for a dinner that allows you to experience the true spirit of Italy.

The food was delicious, simple, honest, local cuisine—just what you'd want! The portions were very generous!
The service was also great, and we would recommend this place to anyone.

05/05/2026: For a holiday lunch, we were seated in a lovely little room without a reservation. The food was excellent, and the service was quick and friendly. The price was commensurate with the quality and quantity.

The prices are a bit high... the service charge was €6, and the dishes are expensive for the amount you get.

02/06/2026: A wonderful find in Cisternino for a couples dinner! The atmosphere is incredibly quaint, with tables set along the town's typical alleys. We had a divine dinner, sampling traditional dishes: a creamy fava bean and chicory purée and the ever-present bombette, delicious in both the classic and special versions. The price was very fair and excellent value.
PS: If you decide to book, they'll answer by 7:30 PM, then you'll have to wait in line.
02/06/2026: My husband and I wanted to try the local bombette. I found this restaurant on Google with good reviews, but I have to say that after trying their food and service, my rating is much higher.
From the courtesy of Mrs. Francesca, to the overall service, to the exquisite food. Everything was top-notch. So good, we even bought some meat for home.
Exceptional!

02/05/2026: I think the €3 cover charge per person is excessive, where you sit in a very cramped space, a small table for four people where everything becomes awkward. The portions are very normal. The staff is courteous. The prices for the side dishes, in my opinion, are a bit excessive!
02/05/2026: A tourist trap!! It's not enough that they offer three first courses and three second courses—that could be true—but the portions are really small, 30-40 grams per plate, despite the very high prices! The quality is good, though, and the bombette are excellent. Very nice place.
