14/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is without a doubt the best restaurant I've ever experienced. From the greeting to the farewell, every moment was thoughtful and warm—you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The service was exceptional: attentive, competent, and never intrusive. Recommendations were given personally and expertly and hit the mark for us. The food was simply sensational. Each course was perfectly seasoned, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a wonderful balance between creativity and tradition. The presentation was beautiful, the portions just right—you could taste the attention to detail in every bite. I would particularly like to highlight the wine pairing: the selection was first-class, and the food pairings took the whole experience to a new level. The ambiance also contributes to the experience: elegant, cozy, yet casual—ideal for a special evening. The value for money, in my opinion, is absolutely spot on, given the quality of the food, wine, and service. An all-around memorable experience that I highly recommend. We'll definitely be back! 🍷

08/09/2025: Spectacular. Everything is top-notch. It's worth coming to this place even if you're many kilometers away in Puglia. Trust me. They divide the portions for you, and the homemade pasta is top-notch. The appetizers have truly unique flavors. Top-notch prices. Coffee served in a moka pot.

02/10/2025: Cibus reaffirms its position as one of Puglia's finest traditional restaurants. It features an indoor and outdoor dining area, housed in what remains of a 15th-century convent. The staff is available to offer seasonal and personalized recommendations. The well-curated wine list perfectly complements the traditional dishes, revisited with balance and respect. A great added value is the constant presence of the owners, who with discretion and professionalism ensure every detail is in place, making the experience even more special and intimate. As a Salento native who has traveled the world, I consider this a place to recommend and return to time and again, certain of quality, hospitality, and authenticity. Reservations are highly recommended.

28/09/2025: This place was a lovely discovery! The atmosphere is beautiful and tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, the food is truly delicious, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend trying it if you're in Ceglie Messapica; we'll definitely be back!

Anna, modestly, every Saturday night we go out for dinner, I know very well how it works... there were three of us plus an elderly lady who tried some appetizers, and we ordered two appetizers for €56, a bottle of wine for €29, if I remember correctly, three risottos and a fried dish, plus two desserts. For what we paid, I felt like I was dining in a fine dining restaurant... the previous Santanna, as I remember well, was something else entirely. Anyway, no hard feelings, and have a nice day.

06/10/2025: This time they outdid themselves. It's hard to find a restaurant that never disappoints. Compliments to the staff for the seafood pizzas with tuna and shrimp tartare—a marvel of flavor. See you next time.

04/10/2025: I had dinner here, and I have to say I had different expectations. The bombette were good but overcooked, the livers were a bit rubbery, and the capocollo was good. I also had lamb, but that was also a bit overcooked. The bill was a bit high for me, considering I paid 17 euros for five pieces of lamb. For me, as a non-tourist, it wasn't worth it.

10/09/2025: We tried to have lunch there, and although there were 5 free tables, it wasn’t okay because we were only two people and they were waiting for larger groups to fill them. They weren’t friendly at all and tried to give us a table that was quite low and isolated. When we didn’t accept the table they proposed, they seemed very annoyed. I believe some places are overrated.

17/08/2025: Thank you Giusy and your team for a fantastic night. We booked out the restaurant for the night and it was fabulous. The food sensational, the atmosphere brilliant and the service professional and friendly.

16/08/2025: Horrible experience. Started good but ended with a disaster. We waited 40 mimutes for an Aperol and about an hour for our food. The lasta was very small and my entracot was very bery chewy. Cloud not eat it. They did not charge the Aperol in the end but the overall experience was very bad.
