The food is great, the prices are good, the service is excellent, and they even gave us a complimentary rosé and espresso! I highly recommend it... but make a reservation, even during the week, because it gets packed! The tiramisu was amazing!

01/07/2026: A perfect ten recommendation from our hosts at Fuga al Trullo. If you're in Cisternino, you can't miss it. The service was exceptional from the very first moment: friendly, attentive, and highly professional. We tried a homemade pasta with ragu that was absolutely spectacular, the kind you remember long after. The pizza with ham and figs was a huge surprise; a perfect combination, with an incredible crust and a spectacular balance of flavors. And to finish, a tiramisu that, without exaggeration, is one of the best we've ever had in Italy. High-quality ingredients, lovingly prepared food, and impeccable service. We would definitely return again and again. Thank you for an unforgettable dinner! 🇮🇹🍝🍕❤️

07/06/2026: Before flying home, we stopped at this restaurant, which immediately attracted us with its beautiful location. The welcoming and kind staff were the perfect complement to a meal steeped in tradition and quality. The nine seafood and meat appetizers were exquisite, and we shared them between us on the waiter's recommendation! Then came the rice, potatoes, and mussels, truly delicious! The glass of rosé was also excellent, perfectly suited to the meal. Congratulations! We'll recommend it!

09/07/2026: A restaurant with a very unique rustic decor, outside Ceglie Messapica. You can't pass it by, you have to go there on purpose. We went there on the recommendation of the guy we took the Ape tour of Ostuni with, and we thank him wholeheartedly. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, both the owner and the waiters, all young and well-trained. I only gave the atmosphere three stars because there's no air conditioning, which is essential for me in this heat. The food, however, deserves five stars and more; it's the only restaurant where I found dishes that were different from the usual offerings. Starting with the appetizer, which consists of a whopping 16 courses, including special fried dishes like prickly pear paddles or frittatas with wild herbs. Unfortunately, after the appetizer, we were already full and didn't eat anything else, until dessert, a refreshing apple and orange grenadine, almost a sorbet. The price was fair for the quality.

05/07/2026: We went to Gino's and had a really good time! The atmosphere is authentic, no-frills, and you immediately feel at ease. The staff is friendly and always smiling, while the dishes are generous, carefully prepared, and you can taste the quality of the ingredients. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. A place where you eat well and experience true hospitality. If you're passing through Ceglie Messapica, it's definitely worth a stop. Kudos to the entire staff; keep up the good work!

09/06/2026: Edit: It is a pity that the owner is not open to constructive feedback. A good restaurant takes advice and criticism to heart. I believe I provided well-substantiated feedback. PS. My plates were not empty, not at all, in fact. I feel conflicted. Attracted by the high review score and beautiful photos, we made a reservation here. Expectations were high. We were given a table in the covered section. The photos looked infinitely more atmospheric than the covered area with bright, cold lighting and carnival lights that we actually had to deal with. However, when I went to the restroom, I saw that it is a beautiful place inside. Perhaps I shouldn't have judged too quickly. The service was friendly and helpful and spoke good English. The food... I don't understand it. The bread was stale; that can happen. I had the pasta with octopus as a primi and the tuna with eggplant carpaccio as a secondi. My wife had a pasta with bacon and lamb chops. Although all the dishes looked beautiful in terms of presentation, I must admit that it was inedible to me. The octopus pasta tasted so incredibly strongly of old, overly concentrated, and bitter fish flavor that my stomach turned. I thought it was just me, but my wife, also a big fish lover, had the same reaction when I let her taste it. Unfortunately, I had to leave the primi after two small bites. The secondi (tuna with eggplant carpaccio) was once again a picture in terms of presentation, but the fish was clearly not fresh and had an impossibly strong aftertaste. The eggplant had the same much too intense fishy taste. My partner had lamb chops that were well prepared, but it was clearly not top-quality lamb. When we asked for some mayonnaise with our potatoes, we were given the remaining sachets of Heinz mayonnaise and ketchup. These did not come from the kitchen but were leftovers from an empty table further away. That wouldn't even be such a disaster in itself, were it not that one of the sachets was already open, leaving all the sachets covered in ketchup. If the fish had been fresh, and the chef had tasted the dish before serving it (and determined that it was inedible in this state), the food would have received 4 stars from me. Because of this, I unfortunately have to rate the score at 1 star. The service was friendly and helpful. But using sauce sachets from another table is a no-go. Also, tilting the plate so that the cutlery falls onto the table when clearing it, instead of lifting it briefly (or better yet, using new cutlery), is not exactly proper etiquette when clearing plates. Unfortunately, I cannot make it any better. I really don't have very high expectations, and I am not a culinary snob. I just want tasty, edible food and acceptable service. Perhaps it was just a combination of unfortunate circumstances. Hence, not 1 star, but 2 stars.

08/07/2026: With 50 euros for two, you'll still be hungry. 15 euros for 80 grams of bombetta thrown into a pan, no salt, no pepper, no side dishes—in short, no love. Being a chef isn't a job. The waiters gambled away their tip when they took the bread bag from the table with a gesture of annoyance. I'm giving it 3 stars because some of them were kind, although I should take another star for the oppressive feeling you feel because you have to clear the table. Beautiful place, fantastic music.

04/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome at this charming, intimate little restaurant. The service was impeccable. The food was excellent, with surprising aromas and spices. Luckily, there weren't many of us, as the dining room is quite noisy. Thank you very much.

12/05/2026: The food is particularly delicious! High quality, tasty ingredients, traditional dishes but also surprising combinations. The majority of the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Limited English is spoken, which sometimes leads to misunderstandings – and as a result, the friendliness disappeared among a number of staff members. As far as I am concerned, the decor could have been a bit cozier; due to the high ceilings, it quickly feels cold.

06/05/2026: The place is beautiful but very pretentious, so I expected different service than what I received. Tables were set with individual placemats, glasses were positioned incorrectly, there were five of us, and the food was served at three different times. As for the dishes, some were good, others just very showy but lacked flavor. The waiters wore less than clean shirts or aprons. Excessively expensive for the service received.

11/06/2026: Most amazing meal and atmosphere! Our whole groups favourite place we’ve eaten so far. All the food was amazing but loved the beef tartare and the pork dish and torte for dessert. 10/10 - if you’re looking for somewhere to eat in Ostuni it has to be here!!

10/06/2026: We had a delicious late breakfast (it's served until 12): cappuccinos and giant toasts—one with caprese and another with prosciutto. The staff was very attentive, and the place is peaceful, shaded by green trees and flowers, and very cool.

06/07/2026: The pasta dish was good but not very filling. The dumplings were delicious. The dishes were a bit pricey for this small town.
