Authentic, traditional food, and the staff are a shining example: young and attentive, loving, and kind. A must-visit for a relaxing stay in Bari Vecchia. 05/12/2025: The tasting menu is definitely worth the try as you get to experience a variety of flavours from the cold and hot dishes, and at a reasonable price. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful! Worth visiting if in Bari.

14/01/2026: Lunch at the well-known @osterialearpie to enjoy the famous Orecchiette pasta with "braciola" (slow-cooked beef rolls with tomato sauce), which was really delicious. Dessert: Tiramisu 😋. Good, cold beer. Cozy atmosphere and very good service. We made a reservation. Menu photos September 2025.

Typical and authentic dishes are served and explained with expert care. We were welcomed with great warmth and "pampered" from the appetizers to the homemade desserts. Each dish, prepared with love, expresses all the experience and infinite passion of Mr. Peppino and his wife Irene. Dining at CENZINO is not only a delicious experience, but also a cultural one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

11/01/2026: The food, although limited as usual, was non-existent, the menu was non-existent, prices were given per person without seeing the price of the individual courses, and the service was rude and crafty.

06/01/2026: It's 5:00 PM and we're still sitting here. At least 30-40 minutes have passed between courses. At least an hour has passed between entrees. No courses were explained to us, and the service was terrible. I'll start by listing the flaws: 1) slowness; 2) they brought the meat without specifying what it was and without asking how it was cooked; 3) they first cut the meat at our table, specifically by elbowing me in the head and standing under the waiter's armpit, without asking me to move or apologizing. A second time, however, it was cut at the next table, under everyone's noses; 4) poor communication between the waiters. You'd ask for one thing, and another would arrive. Too bad, everything started out so well. The appetizers were excellent. I can make the entrees better at home. The artichokes were undercooked. A few things need to be reworked.

The location is a hymn to true and authentic Puglia, with wicker baskets, olive trees and figs everywhere, surrounded by the tranquility of the surrounding countryside and yet with the sea clearly visible in the distance. Good choice of wines and I really found the idea of ​​offering the. Mixed menu: meat and fish, to highlight the variety of Puglian cuisine, excellent. A truly satisfying experience, not only for the palate but also for the emotional warmth of the landscape. A little expensive in my opinion perhaps. But nothing else to say.

16/01/2026: A welcoming and rustic restaurant, it feels like being in a cave. The staff is knowledgeable and extremely polite. The appetizers are delicious, featuring local ingredients. There are numerous first courses, and the dishes are hearty and delicious. For the main course, there's a mixed grilled meat, well-cooked and delicious. The homemade desserts are delicious. Highly recommended.

10/12/2025: GRUMPY STAFF, especially the pizza chef TERRIBLE PIZZA ZERO CLEANLINESS I don't recommend going there!!!!! They almost kicked us out because the pizza chef complained about how cheap we were (€80 for 7 people).

14/11/2025: A great place. A wonderful atmosphere in an Italian restaurant with delicious food made with local produce. We were given an excellent wine with dinner; they asked us to choose it for us. An impressive wine list. The service was exceptional. Don't forget to leave a tip! They don't add it to the bill.

23/10/2025: After unfortunately finding ourselves in front of a closed restaurant yesterday (we hadn't checked the opening hours), we went back today and were both thrilled! The atmosphere was lovely, and we had a lovely outdoor seating area. The service was excellent – ​​consistently attentive and very helpful. Unfortunately, we don't speak Italian, but that wasn't a problem at all! Even as a vegetarian, I was extremely satisfied because the food was still delicious and typical of the region! I'd love to come back if I'm ever in the region again (and definitely specifically for this restaurant!). Thank you so much for letting us spend a lovely evening with you!
