08/10/2025: This cozy Italian spot isn’t fancy, but it serves food that speaks straight to the heart. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious, just like a true neighborhood trattoria should be. The star of the show was the pasta, easily the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, bursting with fresh flavor, and clearly made with love.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian comfort food without the frills, this place is a hidden gem.

The staff is extremely friendly. They are well as a team and are willing to help you order.
The food was very. It was so good my husband ordered dessert (something he never does). Chocolate patachio souffle. My gin and tonic was good and my husband enjoyed a 🍻 beer. Sorry no photos.

An appetizer for two includes a small bowl of prosciutto, a small bowl of fried olives, a small bowl of mozzarella, a small bowl of parmigiana, and two slices of mortadella and salami. Two entrees of brasciole with tomato sauce and three small peppers are €54.

26/09/2025: At this restaurant, located on the outskirts of Altamura, I enjoyed a culinary experience that highlights tradition and local ingredients. The menu draws inspiration from locally sourced and seasonal produce, offering dishes from the Murgia region prepared simply yet effectively. The appetizer served as an excellent overview of local flavors, with a selection ranging from classics like fried olives, eggplant parmigiana, and peppers, to more unusual combinations like friggitelli peppers with fava bean purée and farm cheese with apricot jam. Altamura bread meatballs and Venere rice with vegetables provided a touch of originality.
The first course, homemade spaghetti, successfully combined the delicacy of wild fennel with the savory flavor of anchovies, all enhanced by a pleasant crunch of toasted almonds. The highlight of the evening, a Murgia lamb shank, was served with baked potatoes and raw barattieri, a combination that highlighted the quality of the meat.
The dessert, finally, maintained its high standard: the ricotta and pear tart won over with its lightness, while the San Marzano cremolata with affogato provided an unusual and memorable finale.

14/09/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, looking for a pizzeria on a Saturday night, and I must say there was room, unlike other very busy pizzerias! We dined outside under the patios, very welcoming and relaxing! When we go out for dinner, we prefer to eat pizza, and looking at the online menu and the photos, I chose a vegetarian one! It didn't have much in common with the photo, and the zucchini, the only vegetable, were raw and unseasoned!! But what does it take to make a vegetarian pizza tastier? A little toppings, some breadcrumbs, and freshly cooked vegetables before baking or not? Well, I hope this review, if read, will be a piece of advice for the pizza chef or chef!

A hidden gem of a place but well worth finding.
We shared an antipasti as a starter and for main courses we had Vitello e Polpette (meatballs) and Coniglio Cacciatora (rabbit) with a mixed salad.
The food was delicious (I think the rabbit dish was possibly the best meal I had in two weeks of travelling through Italy) and complemented by a lovely house red wine.
Service and prices were all excellent - would definitely recommend this place.

So many beautiful and packed places on a Tuesday in early September, we opted for this restaurant a bit out of necessity... and instead, everything was delicious at a fair price! Just one piece of advice: order the mixed appetizers and then decide for yourself, because they are plentiful and delicious!
