19/03/2024: Today 2 of us had lunch, we asked for a fish meal, they arrived in order ham, mozzarella, pizza, meatballs, then finally "salmon, mussels and au gratin", a grill for 2 consisting of 1 grilled fish, 1 scampi, 2 prawns, without wine, without coffee 89 euros for 2, took dirtymusso as dessert. I don't think you can go back for the quality and price

27/04/2024: Cucina troppo piccola per il numero di tavoli delle sale e 3 camerieri che correvano in tutte le direzioni (ma avendo 3 sale non è meglio dedicarne uno per sala?) e questo ha generato forti ritardi (antipasto servito 55 minuti dopo essere entrati a locale pieno a metà. I piatti sono ottimi peccato per il ritardo nel servire. Da segnalare o troccoli con cicale di mare. Lista vini adeguata, prezzi in generale corretti e nella fascia medio alta.
26/04/2024: Siamo andati attratti da buone recensioni.Purtroppo serata negativa.Anche se avevamo prenotato con largo anticipo,senza chiederci nulla,siamo stati sistemati a ridosso di una fredda veranda.Cibo da scarsa trattoria,porzioni scarse e peraltro quasi fredde.Riso patate cozze e fave cicoria peggiori mai mangiati.Spero sia solo stata una serata storta….detto da un ex ristoratore…

The food would be good, if almost every kind was not soaked in oil...
And...it has never happened to me anywhere in the world, that the waiter told me that he could not pay with the card...OR AT LEAST HALF OF THE NOTE, LET IT BE CASH...
At least with us, they tell you from the entrance that their internet doesn't work... :))))))

07/04/2024: One of our worst restaurant experiences in all of our long travel lifetime, terrible organization, bad food, crappy wine and the worst customer service on the planet. First: my wife has fatal allergies to dairy and pork protein, it is somewhat hard to find restaurants where she can eat but we thought this would be one. So she ordered mushrooms, polenta and fries and I tried the 'fresh' scampi spaghettone. The spaghettone and the fries came, scampi were from the freezer (even if you put SOME efford into your kitchen, you can get fresh scampi on the market in Bari every day). 'Housewine' was the cheapest supermarket booze.
My wife was waiting for her meals for over an hour, they never came (they obviously had served it to other costumers). Finally we decided to pay and leave, they had added her meals (which they had not served) on the bill. Long discussion as the restaurant refused to accept that my wife had not received her order. Finally they took those items from the check. No apologies, no 'scusi', nothing. When I told them (absolutely calmly) after I had paid, I would write according reviews, the owner became super angry and told us to leave.
P.s.: the fact, that the owner lied in his response and wanted me to delete my review later on as he wrote this wasn't his restaurant tells everything about this place. My review IS about L'Osteria del Borgo Antico. We have been there on April 1st 2024 about 9 p.m. .

15/08/2023: One of my favorite meals our group had during our trip - marvelous food (LOVED the lasanga, stuffed mussels, and eggplant parmigiana app). We were STUFFED by the end of it, because it was so terrific. Despite being very busy and our server, Joe, was engaging and attentive and had wonderful recommendations for each of us. Thank you so much for the incredible dinner team, can't wait to return!
