23/08/2025: A pleasant discovery in the Marche hills. All the dishes we tried were delicious (the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the lamb skewers are highly recommended). The service was excellent, with friendly and prompt staff. The small, welcoming restaurant is tastefully decorated, and the large outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains is also stunning. Recommended.

18/01/2026: Visited with a local friend, I recommend it if you want to savor the local flavors, with generous portions in a casual atmosphere. The dishes are abundant and delicious, without too many frills, and the service is quick and helpful. The place is very dated, typical of the '80s, but you can overlook it considering the quality of the food. Excellent value for money. I will return if I'm in San Benedetto again.

22/01/2026: I've eaten here several times with a colleague. Aside from the fact that the owner is a bit nervous when ordering (he or she comes with a notepad and lists the day's dishes), I would have preferred a written menu with prices, various allergens, and/or substances to which you might be intolerant. The food is average; honestly, I would have expected a little more flavor. Not a single day goes by without the bill being the same as the previous one...and yet the menu is always the same. 🙄. I also recommend keeping your nerves in check, as certain scenes don't do the restaurant any favors. If you choose to go here, be patient; the wait times between courses are quite long.
08/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for lunch today, at the suggestion of a friend (unfortunately, we didn't take photos of the dishes). Generous portions, fair prices. We had hot and cold appetizers (there was everything, hand-cut prosciutto, liver salami, polenta, fried foods, lentils, etc.), and we were already full with that; everything was delicious 😋😋😋😋 Then the first courses, pappardelle with wild boar and tagliatelle with ragù, truly the best 👏👏👏 (My almost 6-year-old daughter told me, "Mom, I want to come here and eat tagliatelle all the time!" 😊) Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat the second course because we were full. We'll definitely be back in the evening to try the second courses. Fabio, the owner, clearly does this job with passion and humility. This place is like a dive into the past. The only thing I recommend is updating your Facebook page; I'll be happy to share the various posts. See you soon Laura

15/02/2026: A very beautiful restaurant, it exudes warmth... even on a "difficult" occasion like Valentine's Day dinner, you can feel its unique style and cooking style. I found everything delicious, high-quality, and carefully presented. The wine pairing was impeccable, and the bill was fair... what can I say, congratulations!
24/12/2025: I was there for the first time and I must say I was very pleasantly surprised. A very nice place with a simple but extremely interesting menu featuring highly refined dishes. The wine list is simply wonderful. Despite the place being packed for a business dinner, we were served quickly and with great attention to detail. The first course was truly delicious. I will definitely be back. I RECOMMEND.

13/10/2025: I left with high expectations because I used to come here about fifteen years ago, when the place was much simpler and less crowded. Back then, the dishes were limited but high quality. The service was simple but genuine, and everyone knew that everything was simple but good. Today, perhaps we were just unlucky with the waiter, who was young and perhaps tired given that the season was almost over, but the quality isn't what I remembered. I'm happy for the owners because the place was busy, but all that's left of the simple, high-quality place I used to frequent. It's a shame. Maybe we'll try again next year, at the start of the season... and... who knows...
20/09/2025: Rustic (spartan) trattoria a little outside Sirolo, with very friendly and helpful staff. They offer daily set menus to choose from. The food is plentiful and very good, and the house wine is excellent and highly recommended.

28/07/2025: As is customary on movie sets... ...a good start!!! Let's start from the beginning: The reservation was easy, with a response that clearly shows what you're about to experience... You arrive and have to ring a bell to enter. An elegant setting, where you immediately feel at ease. A warm and friendly welcome. You find yourself in a stunning lounge. Moving on to the food, we sampled traditional Marche dishes prepared with exceptional skill. Everything was extraordinary, accompanied by an excellent rosé wine. Even the desserts were delicious... Everything was EXCELLENT!!!

29/01/2026: I've been coming here for over 10 years, a regular stop for homemade pasta, Marche ragù, and excellent meat. Food: Typical, traditional. Tagliatelle with ragù is excellent. The rabbit ragù and pappardelle with wild boar are also excellent. The maltagliati with beans are good, although I personally found them a bit disjointed. Excellent meat, tender and tasty rib eye; the grilled meat is very good, you can tell the quality of the ingredients are there, so be careful when cooking. The grilled meat can sometimes be a bit dry. The side dishes are also very good, such as gratinated vegetables (when in season) or sautéed chard. Homemade desserts are excellent (tiramisu, panna cotta, and zuppa inglese). Service: Attentive and friendly, very helpful. We even asked for desserts to go, and they were promptly prepared and packaged for us. Traditional, homey yet refined atmosphere. This restaurant is a historic location, yet they've renovated the entire exterior and kept the interior immaculate. Anyone expecting more has misunderstood the restaurant's offerings. Bill: Absolutely fair. Specifically: half a liter of house wine, water, 4 first courses, 2 grilled meats, 2 side dishes, 2 desserts, 2 coffees for a total of approximately €105.00.
26/01/2026: Very popular, a total disappointment.... Basically, a first course (not even a large one, nothing special), a second course, and dessert were €43. The grilled pork was raw. The famous jugged guinea fowl tasted only of vinegar, a disaster. Rushed, unwelcoming service. Absolutely avoid. There are agritourisms and restaurants where they also make homemade pasta and their own meat, and the prices are much lower and the food is much better.

02/02/2026: We had lunch in a cozy trattoria in the center of Ancona and, of course, we couldn’t help but try their legendary dish — Stoccafisso all’anconitana (dried cod in Anconitan style). It was a hit right in the heart! The fish is incredibly tender, literally melts in your mouth, and the sauce with potatoes, tomatoes, and olives is a true taste of the Marche region. Served with crispy toast, which is so delicious to scoop up the leftover sauce. Combined with a glass of cool white wine — just a gastronomic delight. The atmosphere in the trattoria is very homely and hospitable. A must-visit if you want to taste Ancona!

08/07/2025: Ci sono stato con il mio cane, nel complesso assolutamente soddisfatto, buon cibo e presentato benissimo, prezzo più che onesto! Locale molto bello, proprietario gentile e professionale e un coperto che ha senso chiamare coperto, tovaglia e tovaglioli in tessuto, pane fatto in casa davvero speciale. Piccolo suggerimento, usare dei guanti per tagliare il pane. Spero di tornarci, per me assolutamente promosso. Il borghetto poi è delizioso, come le persone di questi luoghi.
