03/04/2024: As soon as we entered we were enveloped by a typical scent of Lombard homes on Sunday morning, the scent of roast meat, ragù, a beautiful sensation, beautiful memories. Really tasty lunch, mixed starter of cured meats, pisarei with amazing ragù and two second courses, stuffed guinea fowl and Fassona tartare, two glasses of wine, total expense, perhaps a little high, 98 euros.
01/04/2024: Beautiful venue, excellent food, very beautiful dishes with beautiful presentations. Generous portions. Exquisite staff. Definitely coming back. Average high price.

28/03/2024: Two of us ate in this tavern recommended by several people who go there regularly but evidently since we were two young guys going there for the first time we didn't have the same treatment that we had been guaranteed.
The waitress was quite arrogant, it almost seemed like she was too much. We asked her for a glass of wine which she quickly poured for us without even making sure it was to our liking.
Poor starter, good tartare.
Ice cream arrived completely frozen and given the crystals it was probably dated.
I don't recommend it.

27/03/2024: And perhaps the most famous trattoria in Castel D'Ario, they serve an excellent risotto, if I hadn't made a comparison with 2 other nearby trattorias I would have given 5 stars, but in terms of goodness and abundance of condiments (I would skip it) I found it half a step below the most direct competitors

19/02/2024: Eravamo in 14 e abbiamo prenotato a La Pesa sabato a pranzo.
il posto è grande (dista 10 min da borghetto sul mincio) quindi si presta alle tavolate, il parcheggio fuori è capiente e molto comodo. Ci hanno sistemato facendoci un tavolo a ferro di cavallo stando tutti dal lato esterno, cosi ci si vedeva tutti e ci si è sentiti più raccolti. (quando si è in tanti e il tavolo è lungo finisci per parlare solo con chi hai di fronte o di fianco, ma non stavolta grazie alla loro idea).
Menu ricco di pietanze tipiche , sia alla carta che sotto forma di menu degustazioni.
Noi abbiamo preso qualche piatto di antipasto di modo da fare un assaggio dei salumi, del lardo pesto e della giardiniera senza appesantirci, poi ci siamo fatti arrivare come primi piatti pirofile x 2 di tutti i primi (nel senso che un piatto conteneva 2 porzioni da dividere) di capunsei al pomodoro(spettacolari), tortelli di zucca, bigoli al ragu bianco, tagliatelle al ragu d'anatra. a seguire una dozzina di secondi tra cui stracotto d'asino con polenta, stinco, coniglio. una decina di dolci, acqua, vino, caffè e qualche amaro. alla fine conto totale 32€ a testa. alla grande. tutto veramente gustoso e abbondante. personalmente ma va a gusti solo i tortelli di zucca li ho trovati troppo dolci (tanto amaretto nel ripieno) ma come detto sono gusti.
potete star certi che chiunque di noi tornerà da quelle parti ripasserà alla pesa a mangiare. veramente approvato.
14/02/2024: Abbiamo scoperto locale su suggerimento del proprietario del B&b e devo confermare che è stata un'ottima scelta. Piatti di cucina locale ben cucinati e abbondanti. Personale gentilissimo e molto attento. Prezzi onesti nonostante fosse la sera di S Valentino. Ne vale veramente la.pena.

05/04/2024: We stopped by chance on our way home and it was a pleasant surprise! It's not the usual restaurant with the usual dishes! They have a particular, sophisticated menu and I personally liked it a lot!
20/03/2024: Nice atmosphere.. Prices a little expensive. A plate of pasta €20, among other things too much salt in the pasta. The staff is also kind to our 4-legged friends.

30/03/2024: Disappointing, we waited a long time for the pizzas (almost an hour) and for some diners the pizzas arrived after an hour and a half. The place wasn't full, and other customers who arrived after us ate first. Unfortunately, the pizza is no longer as good as it was years ago. The thing that immediately catches the eye is the disorganization. What a pity

The environment, although welcoming, is a mix of ancient and modern, but the service as well as the food is of a high standard. Prices are well aligned with the competition. Really recommended.
