25/05/2025: Historic place in the Bassa Padana with excellent Mantuan cuisine. Try the snail or frog based menus. The Nizzoli family does not disappoint. Bravi bravo bravo!

25/06/2025: We came across this restaurant by chance, attracted by its proximity to the highway, during a trip with children. The environment is well-kept, but I would not recommend it to families as the atmosphere is a bit stiff. We ordered 4 first courses and 4 desserts. The pumpkin tortelli were good, but overall the dishes were average, nothing special compared to the price. The most unpleasant note came when ordering: we were told that each diner is required to take at least two courses (in our case, first course and dessert). This rule was not indicated anywhere - neither at the entrance, nor inside the restaurant, nor on the menu - and was communicated to us only when we were already seated at the table, which put us in a rather uncomfortable position. We should point out that the wine selection seemed interesting, even if we did not have the opportunity to try it. In short: average dishes, a salty bill, and a management that was not very transparent. A stop that we will not repeat.

The nineteenth-century farmhouse has been restored with meticulous conservative attention, maintaining the original atmosphere that welcomes you in a precious timeless environment. Land menu all to try. Note on the scottona meat: delicious! Excellent dining room staff, attentive and very kind. Very helpful and friendly owner. Top quality/price ratio!

30/05/2025: Something has changed. Terrible experience. Ordered the menu with tigelle and fried gnocco, but at 9pm, after eating very few tigelle (3/4), the waiter informed us that the tigelle were finished!!!! Not very correct and very high bill considering the inconvenience. We will never return, nor will we recommend it!

03/12/2024: Erano più di vent'anni - abitando in tutt'altra parte d'Italia - che non ci tornavo: si mangia sempre più che bene in un luogo di grande suggestione, non devastato da autostrade, capannoni come gran parte della Val Padana (staccato o tutto attaccato?).

26/05/2025: I had always heard about this restaurant ... this time for my wife's birthday I wanted to surprise him .. we had dinner with the fish menu each course was an authentic mix of flavors and each bite an emotion that the palate sent to the brain I don't want to exaggerate but believe me you have to try ... the excellent wines from the Tento as an aperitif to the still white recommended to me by the very smart guy who served us in short a fantastic evening certainly the cost is a little high but it's worth it every bit .. I will definitely return ...
