Excellent coffee served with a moka pot.
08/06/2026: A very quaint and charming place with great music. The food was excellent, including the fantastic pumpkin tortelli, unique and definitely worth a try. Highly recommended.

25/05/2026: Trattoria in the heart of Mantua. Outdoor seating in a charming courtyard shaded by a beautiful wisteria. Lunch: platter of Mantua cured meats, a trio of pasta dishes, and a torta di rose (rose cake) to finish. Everything was excellent. The pumpkin ravioli and maccheroncini with stew are truly exceptional. The trattoria has been there since 1939, and rightly so. Recommended.

30/05/2026: Last night was a lovely evening with the FIGC Referees Section of Mantua. We had lunch in the courtyard. The facility is beautiful, complemented by a garden with a swimming pool. The evening's dishes were classic Mantuan dishes. They were delicious, and we even had several encores.

Not only did the owner, Corrado, respond immediately to repeated questions about the products and terms of sale, but they also held a high-value bottle aside for over a month without even a deposit. When it finally arrived, it was perfect, and the shipping was super fast. Courteous and professional, among the best.

24/04/2026: I've been there before, but I'd only tried their entrees. This time, however, I wanted to try their pizza, and I must say I really enjoyed it. Excellent price and quality. I'll be back.
Parking is available either near the restaurant, which runs along the street, or on the opposite side of the street.
On weekdays, the main dining room is packed with local workers, but there's a second dining room at the entrance.
Very friendly staff.
Fast service.

12/04/2026: We came to this trattoria on purpose from Milan. After reading the reviews, our expectations were very high. The experience, however, exceeded them: very good cured meats, an exceptional trio of first courses, with the truly special bigoli al musto, guanciale, and figs. The lamb with thyme and lemon was fantastic. The staff was very welcoming; we felt right at home. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can. Thanks Ginen!

22/04/2026: This restaurant is near the Po River, but parking isn't its strong point. Fortunately, its strong points lie elsewhere. Let's start with the friendly, courteous, and prompt service of the waiters. A very nice place, although the second room was a bit noisy despite the paneling on the walls (the first room is better in this regard). The risottos were very good (and plentiful), the appetizers excellent, the wine (Lambrusco) good, and the liqueurs offered at the end of the meal were appreciated. Coffee served with a covered cup to keep it warm. Excellent value for money. I'd recommend this place to friends. A special mention goes to the owner...always smiling...kind...with excellent table service...well done.

19/04/2026: I'll start by saying I ate well, using quality ingredients! My only criticism is the service. Paying β¬4 for a cover charge, I expected more professionalism from the waiters, who were very kind but inexperienced. We were seated in front of a cupboard with drawers and bottles on top, and four times they came to the table to get napkins from a drawer or bottles. The drawers were difficult to open, and twice my husband had to help the girl pull the drawer: perhaps the table in that area should be eliminated! At the end of the meal, we got up to pay the bill and waited 10 minutes for the owner because he was busy in the kitchen.
