08/11/2025: Mimmo is an institution; it's so busy on Sundays that service sometimes drops, but he, mindful of his mountain-climbing exploits, recovers with gusto and reaches the finish line. Unique dishes with the flavors of old-fashioned country life.

26/11/2025: Lanterna Verde, in the heart of Trecchina, is a place that manages to combine the welcoming atmosphere of an osteria with the attention to detail of a restaurant and the versatility of a pizzeria. The menu is wide and varied, with carefully presented dishes and an almost gourmet touch, making the experience enjoyable from the very first glance. The portions aren't particularly generous, but the quality more than makes up for it. I didn't have the chance to try the pizza, but watching it being passed around the tables nearby, it looked truly inviting, well-leavened and packed with fresh ingredients. I opted for the meat, which was tender and flavorful, accompanied by simple but well-prepared side dishes. The cod fillet was also excellent, tender, delicate, and cooked with great balance of flavors. The deconstructed cake served at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise, delicious without being heavy. The service was courteous and helpful, with attentive but never intrusive staff. Overall, Lanterna Verde is a place worth a visit: a refined restaurant with well-crafted dishes and a relaxing atmosphere. It deserves four stars, and I'm eager to return to finally try the pizza.

Unfortunately, the service was a bit problematic: the first course arrived quite late and, even more strangely, it was served with the second course. As for the food, the quality was generally average, without any particular highlights. The mushroom cavatelli, in particular, didn't thrill me; it wasn't anything special. The only positive note was the orecchiette with ragù, which was good. The average price, €15 per person, makes up for any disappointments.

09/09/2025: I'd never been there. It happens that one Sunday I'm alone, I pass by to get a cigarette and I say to myself, "Why not try this restaurant?" I wish I'd never done it. I order the typical Lucanian dish, "strascinati con pepi cruscki," and I find them on my plate, I fork them and they break apart, so I know how to make strascinati too! The meat? Do we want to talk about it? You couldn't even cut it with a knife! The worst thing is that you can't comment because they get angry... and then... my experience was terrible.
