15/08/2025: We stopped at La Pannocchia restaurant on our way back from the province of Naples. Mr. Rocco's advice was crucial in choosing our appetizers: delicious bruschetta with bacon and ash-baked potatoes, baked pecorino cheese, pasta with Lucanian-style meat ragù, and sliced Lucanian black pork. Everything was delicious, served with care and in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: First time in Castelmezzano and the first place we ate. We arrived for lunch after 3:20 PM, but were still welcomed and served. The strascinati and peperoni cruschi were excellent. The antipasto frittatine and the house wine were very good. Fair prices and trattoria-style portions, finally!

06/08/2025: Posto fantastico, cucina alla vecchia maniera, abbiamo preso: fusilli fatti in casa, alicine fritte, orata e zucchine sotto olio. Prenotazione presa alle 21.30 quindi anche abbastanza tardi.

29/08/2025: I think it's the best restaurant in Trecchina! Small but very well-kept, the service impeccable, and the food! Everything was excellent, but the Trecchinesi cingoli with crusco peppers, Podolica ricotta cheese, and bread cubes were spectacular!
The chef, besides being a great professional, is also someone who goes out of his way to help others.
Unique people still exist!
19/08/2025: We visited Lanterna Verde in Trecchina and were captivated by every dish, from appetizer to dessert. We enjoyed an excellent mixed antipasto, ravioli with butter and sage, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, and, for the main course, veal stew with potatoes and cruschi peppers. Everything was carefully prepared, using local ingredients and authentic flavors. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff friendly, and the prices were fair (about €20-30 per person). A restaurant that combines tradition and quality: highly recommended! The pizza, which I thought was delicious, was delicious. Next time I visit, I'll try the pizza.

18/08/2025: We were there last night, and if it had been open today, we would have returned. One of the best handmade pastas we've ever had; all the ingredients are top-quality, and the crusco pepper was exceptional. The atmosphere was truly comfortable, thanks in part to the very kind and helpful owners. Highly recommended.
15/08/2025: While visiting Potenza from Milan, I found a place I'll be stopping by often. Excellent food, a friendly atmosphere, and above all, the owner's kindness. I recommend it to everyone!

09/09/2025: I'd never been there. It happens that one Sunday I'm alone, I pass by to get a cigarette and I say to myself, "Why not try this restaurant?" I wish I'd never done it. I order the typical Lucanian dish, "strascinati con pepi cruscki," and I find them on my plate, I fork them and they break apart, so I know how to make strascinati too! The meat? Do we want to talk about it? You couldn't even cut it with a knife! The worst thing is that you can't comment because they get angry... and then... my experience was terrible.

23/05/2025: È stata la nostra prima volta al Rifugio Acquafredda… e ce ne siamo subito innamorati! Fin dal primo istante siamo stati accolti con un calore che raramente si trova in giro, sembrava di essere in famiglia.
Abbiamo optato per la formula pensione completa, super‑promossa, ogni pasto è un viaggio nei sapori locali, con prodotti freschissimi e porzioni davvero abbondanti. Il vino della casa accompagna il tutto in maniera perfetta.
Un plauso speciale va a Pasquale e Filomena: persone d’oro, sempre cortesi e disponibili, come fossero dei lontani parenti rendendo il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
La struttura è immersa nel verde, circondata da bellissimi percorsi trekking e sentieri: ideale per famiglie, coppie e per chi ama esplorare anche in MTB o Enduro.
Siamo rimasti incantati dall’esperienza e torneremo sicuramente.
Consigliatissimo a chi cerca autenticità, buona cucina, natura e tanta, tanta ospitalità!

06/08/2025: Grazie ad Antonio, Annarita e Maria per averci fatto sentire a casa, siete delle persone speciali! Agriturismo situato in mezzo alla natura dove si possono gustare piatti buonissimi con materie prime prodotte in loco! Camera spaziosa, pulitissima e molto luminosa. Consigliamo a tutti di vivere questa esperienza, noi ci torneremo sicuramente.
21/07/2025: Siamo stati in visita un paio di giorni a Pietrapertosa/Castelmezzano e non potevamo avere di meglio!!
L'agriturismo é localizzato in una bellissima valle ai piedi delle dolomiti lucane dove si può ammirare uno stupendo paesaggio agricolo. I piatti della cucina sono quelli autentici della tradizione, utilizzando i prodotti a km 0 che il signor Antonio ne crea con cura.
Questa azienda agrituristica é adatta a tutti: coppie, famiglie, gruppi, singoli, camperisti. Mette a disposizione qualsiasi servizio a ogni tipo di cliente.
Un plauso va a Antonio e Giuseppe e alla loro famiglia che hanno fatto di tutto per metterci a nostro agio. Grazie di tutto!!!
