03/02/2025: Pasta heated in the microwave which was overcooked. The only salvation was the appetizer. Terrible service; annoyed waiters. I found the sexist attitude and inappropriate comments from one of the two unpleasant. I do not recommend.
05/01/2025: We came to eat in this typical Matera tavern and I must say that we really enjoyed it
The owner immediately welcomed us with a smile and kindly let us sit with our two dogs. Typical menu with particular attention to cod
I took the dish with cod and bran peppers. Very good!!! The appetizer with local cured meats and cheeses presented in an original way was also very good
The still white wine was really excellent

02/01/2025: We had lunch on January 1st at the bistro because the restaurant was fully booked.
Even though they don't have a kitchen, we ate very well and the food was hot.
It was all very good.
We drank an excellent primitive red wine recommended by the manager.
Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff throughout.
Very welcoming place.
I recommend it and I will definitely return!!

The service was impeccable, with friendly and customer-focused staff. The owner made us feel very welcome, stopping by our table several times to make sure everything was going smoothly.
The location of the restaurant is equally fascinating, located in the heart of Matera, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The interiors are elegant and refined, with ceramic details that represent elements of the Matera tradition.
In summary, L'Abbondanza Lucana is a restaurant that is absolutely worth a visit. The food, the service, the location and the kindness of the owner make this dining experience unique and memorable.

03/02/2025: Sono tornata a distanza di anni con amici,ed è sempre la mia trattoria preferita!
Siamo di Bari e quindi mancavo da parecchio tempo, temevo che avessero cambiato la qualità ma, anzi era tutto squisito!
Il locale era pieno ma, il servizio è stato perfetto.
Camerieri molto cortesi e attenti per non parlare dei titolari che sono simpaticissimi!…. Si capisce che per loro rendere il cliente soddisfatto è la priorità assoluta!
Grazie ☺️ tornerò quanto prima!
Super consigliato “QUALITÀ PREZZO” più che onesto!

01/02/2025: Siamo venuti una sera di febbraio perchè era un locale vicino all'hotel dove alloggiavamo.
Servizio rapido,cibo delizioso e camerieri cordiali e simpatici.
25/01/2025: E chi l'ha vista!!!! Raramente siamostati trattati così male!!! Avevamo prenotato un tavolo, sono arrivati i nostri amici e hanno riferito che stavamo arrivando!!! Non li hanno fatti sedere perché o eravamo tutti o davano il tavolo ad altri e li hanno fatti uscire.
Una signora stava aspettando il marito che era andato a parcheggiare lì vicino e non l'hanno fatta sedere mandandola via! Un signore, da solo, voleva un tavolo e non glielo hanno dato perché era da solo..cose dell'altro mondo!!!!!!! Mai e poi mai mi è capitata una cosa del genere!!! Alla faccia dell'accoglienza!!!!! Potrebbe anche cucinare da Dio ma chi si comporta così non è degno di considerazione!!!!! Da evitare come la peste!!!!!

25/01/2025: LOCALE tipico con richiami alla Lucania. AMBIENTE RISCALDATO nonostante la sala sia enorme. Abbiamo gustato una pizza e delle fave con cicoria tipico prodotto. Il menu sembra dettagliato nel prodotto mare e terra. La particolarità che abbiamo apprezzato è stato la cordialità e gentilezza del gestore . Persona semplice , discreto ma PRESENTE. Alla fine ci è stato portato un amaro tipico ..ma il gesto carino è stato che ci ha lasciato la bottiglia sul tavolo. Mark Twain scrive: La gentilezza è il linguaggio che il sordo può sentire e il cieco può vedere. CONFERMO che nessun atto di gentilezza, per quanto piccolo, è mai sprecato. Consiglio ai miei oltre 278.455 lettori di fare un pit stop qui. Ripasseremo . buon lavoro, gli amici di Nola

13/01/2025: Nice place... the location is certainly favorable for those who want to rest after seeing the bridge.
Crusco pepper is very good in my opinion..
The appetizers also... the orecchiette were quite good.
The staff tries to put customers at ease without being intrusive.
It may not be a starred restaurant but I would happily go back because it presents itself as it is, without any pretense.
Advised.
06/01/2025: I put one star because you can't do less. I had New Year's Eve dinner with some friends, and in addition to having paid €95 per person, we ate horribly. Very poor quality of food and also prepared without any skill.

24/11/2024: Typical and nice restaurant in the village of Rotondella, we found it by chance one Sunday for lunch during a motorbike ride.
Welcomed by the lady, wife of the owner and chef of the restaurant, we immediately felt welcomed into their home!!
Quiet little place with excellent and impeccable service, the lady very kind and attentive in her service, menu with typical dishes.
Excellent, delicious food, without too many waits even if there were other customers in the room.
We had a great appetizer, typical Rotondella calzone, two first courses of fresh grilled pasta with tomato and fried bread "more than generous portions"
After you have dessert!!
Let me start by saying that I don't like those made with ricotta, and I have to tell you... it was really delicious, a tart with ricotta and chocolate chips, homemade and mouth-watering!
Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!! Even in summer, it will be even nicer since it has a nice little terrace!
At the end we also chatted with the owners and we felt even more at home!!
Well done, continue like this to distinguish yourself from other places that absolutely do not deserve any positive reviews!!

Gentilezza e cortesia sono garantiti sia da parte dei titolari che dei dipendenti, tutti sempre pronti ad accoglierti facendoti sentire subito a casa.
Location immersa nello stupendo scenario dei calanchi lucani, posto ideale per poter trascorrere momenti rilassanti con tutta la famiglia.

02/01/2025: Sufficient cooked food, insufficient service (perhaps the waiters were tired) but the most unusual thing was that they took it for granted that we didn't have second courses because according to them the starter and the first course were filling but in reality it was that they didn't have the dishes written on the menu, they had finished everything. I strongly advise against it for those looking for typical cuisine

23/11/2024: Eravamo alla ricerca di un agriturismo , al ritorno del nostro viaggio dalla Sicilia. NON POTEVA CAPITARCI DI MEGLIO!!!
Appena arrivati, ahimè erano al completo , ma la gentilezza del titolare ,corretto nel dirci che era possibile solo all'esterno , se a noi andava bene , per non sovracaricare il numero all'interno , ( questa la chiamo professionalità) era una perfetta soluzione , dato la bella giornata di sole . Siamo nel campo di ristorazione , e il nostro plauso per le attenzioni . Menziono il particolare di apparecchiare o rimpiazzare piatti e sposate , sempre con il tovaglialo , senza mettere le dita su di essi . Piatti lucidissimi anche sotto ( cosa rara ) . Il cibo ... SUPERLATIVO !!! un menù completo ( non ne sapevamo cosa comprendesse ) ed é stata un'esplosione di sapori . É una gestione famigliare , ed ad ognuno di voi vá il nostro grazie.
Lo consiglio vivamente!!

28/10/2024: Posto gradevole. Per i bambini ci sono solamente due giostrine e un pò di zanzare. Sala accogliente forse qualche posto a sedere in meno farebbe stare più comodi. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo
