The owner immediately welcomed us with a smile and kindly let us sit with our two dogs. Typical menu with particular attention to cod
I took the dish with cod and bran peppers. Very good!!! The appetizer with local cured meats and cheeses presented in an original way was also very good
The still white wine was really excellent
I recommend it
04/01/2025: Fearing the tourist restaurant, we looked for a while before deciding on this restaurant. At the table, Italians, and local specialties on the menu. Special mention for the bean puree with chicory. Rustic service, good wines, fairly reasonable prices. A good address

02/01/2025: We had lunch on January 1st at the bistro because the restaurant was fully booked.
Even though they don't have a kitchen, we ate very well and the food was hot.
It was all very good.
We drank an excellent primitive red wine recommended by the manager.
Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff throughout.
Very welcoming place.
I recommend it and I will definitely return!!

The service was impeccable, with friendly and customer-focused staff. The owner made us feel very welcome, stopping by our table several times to make sure everything was going smoothly.
The location of the restaurant is equally fascinating, located in the heart of Matera, with a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The interiors are elegant and refined, with ceramic details that represent elements of the Matera tradition.

02/01/2025: We had an aperitif in the winery. We entered around 5.30pm, an hour later the owner brought us the bill directly and shortly after invited us to clear the table to make room for other customers. I would have appreciated being notified in advance.
Nothing to say about the quality of the wine and food, but in a place with certain pretensions the service should be looked after a little better.
01/01/2025: Beautiful location located in one of the most beautiful squares in Matera. Welcoming environment, professional owners and employees. Very attentive service. It's 12/31/2024... a fantastic dinner. Congratulations to everyone. I highly recommend it.

Very few customers at lunch on Tuesday.
Excellent food and in the right quantity.
Lunch expense, correct.
The owner's company was excellent without being intrusive and very friendly.
Delicious typical dishes and delicious fried fish.
I would like to return to try the pizza which is not made for lunch.

28/11/2024: During my trip to purchase goods to be allocated to the parish, where I serve as a permanent deacon, having made the timetable, we were looking for a place to refresh ourselves and return to the office. On the instructions of the employees of the company where we had gone for the above purchases, I found a quiet, welcoming, clean environment, the table service was discreet, prompt, courteous and competent. It was possible to verify and choose the choices of dishes and wines by placing a queue and subsequently requesting the order from the service employee with whom he was able to exchange a few words and share his life experiences. I highly recommend you go to this place, you won't regret it.

06/01/2025: Don't let the name fool you, the place is not a tavern but a real restaurant, with a discreetly elegant atmosphere, punctual and accurate service, extremely professional and polite staff and a varied and expertly prepared culinary offering: abundant and very tasty dishes , with traditional local dishes ranging from varied appetizers to a wide choice of first and second courses, not to mention the very special desserts and the excellent selection of wines.
Absolutely honest prices, indeed I would say almost competitive in relation to quality and quantity.
Absolutely recommended...!!!

Gentilezza e cortesia sono garantiti sia da parte dei titolari che dei dipendenti, tutti sempre pronti ad accoglierti facendoti sentire subito a casa.
Location immersa nello stupendo scenario dei calanchi lucani, posto ideale per poter trascorrere momenti rilassanti con tutta la famiglia.

02/08/2024: Locale nel centro del borgo di Irsina. Menú con proposte della cucina lucana e primi piatti con pasta fresca. Molto buoni i cavatelli con pomodorini gialli, pezzenta di suino nero e caciocavallo. Servizio cortese e attento, anche lo chef é venuto in sala ad accertarsi che tutto fosse di nostro gradimento. Prezzi onesti e commisurati alla qualità.
01/07/2024: Buon ristorantino nel centro.Cucina locale con prodotti tradizionali.Discreti i vini della casa, buone birre artigianali del territorio.Un po’ limitativo l’obbligo di minimo 2 antipasti ,vista l’abbondanza ne basterebbe 1 per 2 persone e ti permetterebbe di saggiare altri piatti.Dolci non locali.Il locale è ben tenuto ed è facile parcheggiare.Prezzo un po’ alto, in particolare ì fuori menù , tra l’altro si conosce solo al momento del conto ma ormai è una cattiva abitudine frequente.Servizio discreto e coi tempi giusti.Comunque ritornerei.

24/11/2024: Typical and nice restaurant in the village of Rotondella, we found it by chance one Sunday for lunch during a motorbike ride.
Welcomed by the lady, wife of the owner and chef of the restaurant, we immediately felt welcomed into their home!!
Quiet little place with excellent and impeccable service, the lady very kind and attentive in her service, menu with typical dishes.
Excellent, delicious food, without too many waits even if there were other customers in the room.
We had a great appetizer, typical Rotondella calzone, two first courses of fresh grilled pasta with tomato and fried bread "more than generous portions"
After you have dessert!!
Let me start by saying that I don't like those made with ricotta, and I have to tell you... it was really delicious, a tart with ricotta and chocolate chips, homemade and mouth-watering!
Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!! Even in summer, it will be even nicer since it has a nice little terrace!
At the end we also chatted with the owners and we felt even more at home!!
Well done, continue like this to distinguish yourself from other places that absolutely do not deserve any positive reviews!!

23/11/2024: Eravamo alla ricerca di un agriturismo , al ritorno del nostro viaggio dalla Sicilia. NON POTEVA CAPITARCI DI MEGLIO!!!
Appena arrivati, ahimè erano al completo , ma la gentilezza del titolare ,corretto nel dirci che era possibile solo all'esterno , se a noi andava bene , per non sovracaricare il numero all'interno , ( questa la chiamo professionalità) era una perfetta soluzione , dato la bella giornata di sole . Siamo nel campo di ristorazione , e il nostro plauso per le attenzioni . Menziono il particolare di apparecchiare o rimpiazzare piatti e sposate , sempre con il tovaglialo , senza mettere le dita su di essi . Piatti lucidissimi anche sotto ( cosa rara ) . Il cibo ... SUPERLATIVO !!! un menù completo ( non ne sapevamo cosa comprendesse ) ed é stata un'esplosione di sapori . É una gestione famigliare , ed ad ognuno di voi vá il nostro grazie.
Lo consiglio vivamente!!
Ah dimenticavo una chicca 😊 la tisana zenzero e limone , deliziosa!!!
28/10/2024: Posto gradevole. Per i bambini ci sono solamente due giostrine e un pò di zanzare. Sala accogliente forse qualche posto a sedere in meno farebbe stare più comodi. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo
