25/03/2025: The owner was very kind, he reserved the table for us even though we arrived 20 minutes late due to a detour near Pietrapertosa. Exquisite appetizer based on typical Lucanian products, followed by two really good and tasty first courses. Super recommended!

01/03/2025: We had heard this Osteria praised in the afternoon by our guide in the Murgia Park and so, in the evening, passing by by chance, we decided to try it. Excellent choice. Familiar and characteristic environment, heated, with fossils embedded in the calcarenite ashlars; friendly and fast service; excellent typical food, among which, for my taste, stands out the pancotto with turnips and crusco pepper and the bread pie with fruit and citrus cream. Excellent value for money: for two starters, two first courses, two desserts, two beers, water and service, we spent just over 30 euros each. Recommended tavern.

01/03/2025: Avevamo sentito lodare questa Osteria nel pomeriggio dalla nostra guida nel Parco della Murgia e così, la sera, passandoci casualmente proprio davanti, abbiamo deciso di provarla. Ottima scelta. Ambiente familiare e caratteristico, riscaldato, con fossili incastrati nei conci di calcarenite; servizio gentile e veloce; ottimo cibo tipico, tra cui spicca, per i miei gusti, il pancotto con rape e peperone crusco e il tortino di pane con frutta e crema di agrumi. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo: per due antipasti, due primi, due dolci, due birre, l'acqua e il servizio, abbiamo speso poco più di 30 euro a testa. Osteria consigliata.

19/02/2025: Nuova location in pieno centro , a due passi dalla piazza principale , locale ampio progettato con eleganza e stile , tavoli e sedute comode , un bel camino a vista , una funzionale e fornita cantina di vini, e particolari di classe come i soprammobili tipici materani di Mitarotonda. Per il resto solo conferme, pietanze del territorio, ben assemblate e presentate in maniera più sofisticata. Servizio discreto ma con personale sempre disponibile Prezzi adeguati alla qualità del cibo e del contesto

02/03/2025: We ate very well in this trattoria in the heart of Matera! The staff was kind and friendly, welcomed us with great availability even without a reservation, immediately finding us a table. They recommended some really special off-menu dishes, which we really appreciated. We started with the appetizer, which I recommend to everyone: a complete tasting of 4 or more proposals, perfect for sharing. Followed by two delicious first courses, including an off-menu dish and the paccheri, which were truly exceptional. To end on a high note, we chose the poker of desserts, a true explosion of flavors that left us speechless. A fantastic experience, congratulations to the owners. We will definitely be back, congratulations on the excellent work!

03/02/2025: Sono tornata a distanza di anni con amici,ed è sempre la mia trattoria preferita! Siamo di Bari e quindi mancavo da parecchio tempo, temevo che avessero cambiato la qualità ma, anzi era tutto squisito! Il locale era pieno ma, il servizio è stato perfetto. Camerieri molto cortesi e attenti per non parlare dei titolari che sono simpaticissimi!…. Si capisce che per loro rendere il cliente soddisfatto è la priorità assoluta! Grazie ☺️ tornerò quanto prima! Super consigliato “QUALITÀ PREZZO” più che onesto!

19/02/2025: Piccolo ristorantino ricavato in un locale con tetto a volta. Accogliente e suggestiva l'atmosfera. Pochi i piatti ma preparati con passione e serviti con simpatia ed efficienza da parte del giovane personale. Prezzo nella media. Unico neo, non imputabile al locale è la mancanza di parcheggio nelle vicinanze.

18/02/2025: Quite a quiet Saturday evening, it's a shame that the staff present in the dining room is a bit limited in my opinion. Friendly and courteous owner in suggesting what to take. Pizza not bad although I wasn't crazy about it and there were some oversights but since it's Saturday it's okay.
