16/07/2025: Excellent food. Exceptional Peperoni cruschi. Very nice location, the only shame is the acoustics; with large tables, everything echoes. Very good price. Reservations are recommended.

30/06/2025: For the party fiesta de la bruna they had a special menu for 20.00 euros (spaghetti assasinata and 2 glasses of wine). The portion of spaghetti was so small that we asked for some more. We got a double portion compared to the first portion. For dessert we shared a tiramisu. Bill 69.00 euros. We were seriously ripped off here. Absolutely avoidable restaurant.

01/07/2025: I'm sorry - but like many highly rated restaurants in Matera, this one does not live up to the rating and has been catering too long for foreign tourist palates. It was the only pasta I ate in 1 month in Italy that was not al dente. And it lacked seasoning. The other main was an acceptable but basic pork and crispy peppers dish. Only the zucchini and apple salad were good quality. The service was adequate. The cave atmosphere probably the best part of the experience.

Compliments to everyone: polite and very well-prepared waiting staff, the very familiar and comfortable environment and the dishes are already eaten with the eyes because not only are they well presented but above all they have an authentic flavor! And above all the chef, Salvatore Ruggiero who tells you the soul of each dish! I sincerely hope to return as soon as possible! Good work to everyone!

12/06/2025: Excellent pizzeria restaurant in every way, Salvatore the owner and chef is very good, he details the dishes as they are cooked and the ingredients he uses, his daughter is an excellent pastry chef. I recommend trying it.
