08/03/2025: Beautiful and refined restaurant in Matera in one of the most evocative historic centers of the south. You are welcomed with kindness and by a highly professional staff. The interior is typically wrapped in the fascinating Carparo tuff and tastefully furnished. Dinner... calling it dinner is very simplistic, I would prefer to call it a culinary experience with an explosion of tastes. As I was saying, this fantastic experience transformed my evening into a journey through typical Matera flavors and products. The dishes expertly prepared by the chef are delicious and beautiful to look at. The two owners that I had the pleasure of meeting, pamper you and list in detail all the dishes that are brought to your table. Amazing wine list. Recommended to embark on a wonderful culinary journey!!!!!

Pochi i piatti ma preparati con passione e serviti con simpatia ed efficienza da parte del giovane personale. Prezzo nella media. Unico neo, non imputabile al locale è la mancanza di parcheggio nelle vicinanze.

16/03/2025: Le stelle disponibili sono poche per dare una valutazione adeguata al Forentum. I piatti, il servizio e la professionalità offerti, sono di altissima qualità. Adoro la loro cucina, un mix di tradizione e innovazione come pizzeria, per non parlare del ristorante. Aurora e Savino sono degli straordinari padroni di casa che sanno come rendere piacevole e speciale l’esperienza nel loro locale. Da Milano, vado a trovarli almeno 3 volte all’anno e non mi deludono mai!

07/03/2025: The quality of the food wasn't the best, but the quality of the service far outweighed any discrepancy the food created. The lady who served us was super friendly, as were the other colleagues, courteous and helpful!

02/04/2025: Microwaved pasta doused in fake truffle oil. Terrible food in general. I’m sure this place was decent 20 years ago, but it was the worst meal we’ve had in Italy by far. It’s a tourist trap and a the food at petrol stations was better. The prices weren’t outrageous, but I wouldn’t have eaten there even half the price. Stay away. This place is a joke.

30/03/2025: Τελος Μαρτη Μια ημερα με διανυκτερευση στη Matera-πεινασμενοι-μας ειχαν συστησει αυτη τη τρατορια,περίπου 200 μ απο το κεντρο,αλλά ουτε κρατηση γινοταν ουτε ανοιγε πριν τις 8μμ Περιμεναμε εξω σε σκεπαστο χωρο-ακριβως 8μμ ξεκλειδωσε η πορτα Ευγενεστατο προσωπικο Χωρος ανετος με τοπικα εκθεματα και καδρα Λιστα κρασιων με τοπικους οινους σε αριστες τιμες,ψητος μπακαλιαρος και ταλιατα εξαιρετικά/λαζανια φουρνου με μελιτζανα και σαλτσα τοματα ηταν <βαριά>/πιατελα τοπικων τυριων πολυ καλη οπως και λευκό κρασι τοπικης ποικιλιας verdeca Value for money όλο το πακέτο! Σας το συνιστώ
